FamilyRe: What Was Your Childhood Dream/ambition And Where Are You Now????????????? by magicminister(op): 2:13pm On Aug 18, 2015
moca:
I have achieved up to 90% of my childhood dreams. 5% is already on d pipeline.
D other 5%, I sacrificed to get d rest.

The thing about childhood dreams r that ther r very flexible and u have to adjust to flow with d change.
Secondly, it might take time.

Once u r completely focused, even if u try achieving one and it fvcked u up, dust urself up and try again.
So patience is d key.
Tell us what your ambitions as a child were

As a child, I always wanted to be a boxer or a wrestler (specifically shawn michael). I fought all the time and only got defeated once.... I still miss those days.

As a teenager, I wanted to be Mr marcus or lexington steele grin grin

Now, I am none of the above. Just a business man that lives a fairly quiet life.
CrimeRe: Tailor Seizes Girl’s Underwear, Clothes After Rape by magicminister: 7:47am On Aug 18, 2015
Honestly, I am tired of hearing all these cases of rape and pedophilism everyday.
Cant the judiciary come up with a stiffer law??

Do you know in Nigeria, u can rape any child or woman and walk off with a bail of 200k....

That is crazy and encouraging... and sickening,
Our judiciary needs reform ASAP!!

Music BusinessHow To Make Money Quick In The Music Industry As A Record Label/producer..,,,, by magicminister(op): 7:44am On Aug 18, 2015
I will keep this short and straight to the point.

1- make a great song. Good songs are everywhere. Great songs only come like once -thrice a year.

2- promote promote promote. Artist promotion is the hardest part. We are not here for that.

3- register with a royalty collecting body. They are the ones that make sure you do not get ripped off and your income is duly paid to you. GLO or any other brand uses your sound for advert, they gotta pay. Your caller tunes income will not enter voicemail, sale of your e-album or track will be duly registered and income will be remitted to you.

4- Producers should do the same. You own the beat, the artist owns the voice, you have right to a certain percent of the income generated from the song you produced. This is where you enter into joint agreement with the artist.

Start small.

For a producer, you could start by requesting 50 percent of caller tunes income and 5 percent of itunes album sales income. Once this is signed, register with a royalty collecting agency.

Lots of artist made hell load of cash just by releasing singles.
Once you have the plan right, you do not need an album to survive.
Now you know why artistes and big record label have reduced the way they drop albums.

If you need more guidance, tag me or send me a mail on icevillebeatz@gmail.com

Im only doing this cos im tired of seeing young bloods getting ripped off.

MrMcJay:
What if they are broke?

They are far better than those who engage in criminal and promiscuous lifestyles cos of material things. Just last week, a friend was telling me of a lady that was sleeping around to raise money for her wedding.

Once the bride and groom are happy, what else matters?
What about their future kids? Don't they matter?

I mean, if you cannot afford a decent cake, how will you handle the financial strain that comes with having kids?

Unless they dont plan on having any child till things get better

It is well!
Maybe its a cultural thing cos I feel if you too broke to get a solid cake on your wedding, you shouldnt be getting married in the first instance!

Of course the size of the cake does not determine the success of marriage and the bread looks tasty sha!!
