Shoprite, mtn and dstv are collectively providing to employments to thousands of Nigerian households. If you attack these entities, who will provide the jobs you have taken? Who will take care of the children you have rendered their parents jobless? Count your teeth with your tongue. Nigerians go to SA and they open up small shops that do not provide meaninful employment to any South African or generate substantial tax revenue but takes opportunities from the average South African. |
Naija sha... to be poor na crime for we country! |
Mk12:The method of killing is the same for all victims. He uses hotel rooms and strangles the victims exactly the same way. Can’t rule out the possibility of multiple perpetrators but going by visible indicators, it is done by one and the same person. How do you know those women were prostitutes? Even if they are, does it make them any less human? Does it mean they deserved to have their lives snatched from them in the most gruesome manner? Can you imagine how they struggled and gasped for breath for watching their lives fade right before their very eyes? Can you imagine how their loved ones will cope?? I prefer prostitutes, theives and scammers to murderers. Please change your ways and have some empathy. Those women are humans too. |
Mk12:So, you’re more comfortable with having a serial killer on the loose than having prostitutes in your society? |
GistmoreNG:ladies and gentlemen, we have a serial killer on our hands. Remember the other two women that were murdered in ph and imo? Remember both were strangled with a piece of clothe? I’ve been saying this since the second murder and at the rate the perpetrator is going, I anticipate there would be another murder before the end of August/ first two weeks of September. For those that blame the victims and call them prostitutes, do you think it really matters to a serial killer? The women that were raped and murder by the badoo serial killers last year, were they also prostitutes ![]() Anyone can get it!’ The fact that it’s happening to the most vulnerable in our society does not mean it cannot happen to you and the people you love. Rather than blame the victim, condemn the perpetrator and be vigilant.

jodeci:So what it’s federal road? That shittt in in the state and causes hardship to the state people not the federal government. Fix it or create an instate alternative while that portion of road is blocked off!! |
I watched the full video some days ago. I noticed one of the police officers (the one with stripped collar shirt) survived and was pleading for help. The video skipped and he ended up dead. |
Why is her case different from the many innocent Nigerians languishing in foreign prisons? The other day, we heard of a young man that was arrested and later found to be innocent. The Nigerian government didn’t come to his aid despite his numerous plea. A lot of our brothers and sisters in foreign jail are 100% innocent. |
Nice one from the military. Keep it out and I urge the military leaders to continue pushing for reforms in the Army. We can do it! |
Idiots... I hate docile people. Man like you fuccck you up and you couldn’t fight like your life depended on it?? Left to me; those naval ratings must die that night but then, I’ve never been lucky enough to jam any of those overzealous and truculent members of the armed forces. |
Gbengaolowe32:Like I’d say, when you fight for your people, use one hand so that you can use the other hand to fight off your people cos they’ll fight you for fighting for them. The relentless protest of the Shiites just got el Zakzaky out of jail. The govenmebt becomes afraid when they see the people are not afraid anymore. |
thesicilian:Bro, when you hit your first million, you’ll stop believing in all those nonsense. I’m on my 150th. |
SOFTDRINK:A baby is not a car that you leave at the mechanic (doctor) and come back in 5 hrs to pick it up. Bro, I guess you came from a decent family, what do you think your mom would do if she was in that woman’s position? Do you think your loving mother would leave you at the mercy of strangers?? Let’s learn to empathize with others because no be everything wey be like kpomo be kpomo |
Pic 1 Individual was shot from behind. He was lying face down and probably the first one to be shot.

So? It’s her page!! I don’t agree with such attention seeking behavior but I’m at a point in my life where I don’t care what the next man does IF IT DOESN'T AFFECT ME!!! If you wanna be gay, be gay. You wanna be a prostitute, oya carry go. You wanna die, my brother feel free..... You wanna be a pornster, oya naaah |
beardedboy:Bro, I’m rich! I fly private or business class. I dine in 5 star hotels and own 3 houses in Nigeria and 2 in the United States... my life is soft!! Back in my university says, I protested, I was even shot in the leg and got my scars to show it!! No be today bro... I’m not a coward but at some point, you gotta just let cowards suffer.... |
festacman:I have personally worked with Sowore and all this is far from truth |
SocialFinance:Mumu.... you’re living a worthless life yet still afraid of death and arrest!! Lol!! |
Wtf!!... we could have a serial killer on our hand guys. This was exactly the way some other girl was murdered in rivers . She was found half naked and strangled with hotel bedsheet According to google map, rivers state to imo is only 2 hrs away. The really annoying thing is that these poverty stricken children on Nairaland will say things like “slay queen got slated” and keep blaming the victims without realizing that their sisters and mothers can get it too. All it takes is being at the right place at the wrong time.

Nice... I will use this opportunity to call on our representatives to push for laws that protects disabled people. They face employment discrimination, Most government offices do not have a ramp for people using wheelchair or designated parking for the disabled. There should be laws that mandates every public building to have a little ramp for wheelchairs and possibly designated parking spots |
looool I supported Apc in 2015 but now I know they are empty barrels and worse than pdp. While pdp was corrupt, we enjoyed some levels of freedom and EFCC went after mostly politicians and some yahoo boys. Pdp was corrupt but they gave us the voters card reader which greatly improved the credibility of elections. Pdp was corrupt but we were able to protest freely and call the seating president an Idiot without any fear of repercussion. Under pdp, progress was really slow but every administration made things a little better. Obj - accelerated investment in technology Yaardua- reduces fuel price and cheaper cost of living. Gej- sure -p and electronic voting. ——————————————————\- Under APC, our basic freedom has been taken from us Under Apc, billion have been recovered from “anti kwarraption” war but not a single tangible and visible project has been done with it. Under Apc, the thought of protest will earn you a visit from the dss. Under apc, none of the promise they made has been fulfilled. We all know they rigged themselves into power in 2018 and majority of Nigerians votes Atiku. We all know they have no intention to allow free and fair election ever again. They’ll backtrack the achievements of Obj, yaardua and gej.... |
Hypocrites...i really don’t get the outrage. It wasn’t a nude display as the women were in lingeries. I don’t agree with it but I don’t see anything wrong with it. |
WiLdFLame:Sowore has been leading protest and was one of the people that fought for our democracy. Where were you and your father!!! Watch as mushroom media outlets working for the government will tarnish sowore’s image with outright falsehood. Sowore never said he was going to set himself on fire and even if he did, so what? They’ll use their divide and rule Tactics and sell this as an ibo protest or a Yoruba protest or an Hausa protest. Don’t fall for it... this protest is for us all. I’ll be there. Man, history will never be kind to Lauretta onochie. She forgets that power is transient and sometimes, you have to shut the ffuccck up. |
Nawaooo... crazy shit is that this is soooooo common in nigeria. 1 in ten Nigerians are living with HIV. That number is not a coincidence. With the prevalence of sex crimes and ignorance, 80% of Nigerians could have it at the turn of the century. |
So basically the boy was a civilian? |
What are representatives and senators doing and why are they not pushing for more stringent laws to protect our women and children? Honestly, I feel our current political structure is ineffective and an underdeveloped country like Nigeria has no need for senators and representatives. After all, they’re puppets to the presidency. We might as well go back to dictatorship. Atleast, under a dictatorial administration, laws can be passed without hurdles and development can happen really fast if the dictator is passionate about the country. We need one dictator to lead a coup, clean up the country, set the foundation for rapid development in science, tech and agriculture and other industries and then hand over to the democratic government. It’s crazy that Nigeria achieved more under military administration than under civilian administration. |
I encourage every military and police escort taking securing money for public officials to take that money and abscond. It will be your fastest path to wealth. Let’s make life as hard as possible for these people. Pikin wey say him mama no go sleep, no go sleep too!! |
Lol... a meaningless award given to him by an unknown organization/group for monetary gains does not count. The award is neither recognized locally nor globally. Look at how hungry the award givers look lol!! Icon of democracy? What has the slapping senator done for democracy in Nigeria?? |
She went to Scotland to become a toilet lady?? Okay oh!! |
Inspectorsuga22:If man fight man, that one no be wahala. As long as you’re fighting someone that will match you blow for blow, then it’s a fair fight. The reason people are particularly upset with the senator is because he slapped a woman, he used his tax payer provided security to intimidate and further assault the woman, he kidnapped the woman in the name of getting her “arrested” and he’s a public office holder and should be held at a higher standard of accountability. Having said that, I’ll answer your question with a No, I fought boys as a child and I’ve lost some fights. Growing up in the streets, fighting between boys na normal thing, last last we go drink beer on Friday. But only a coward will hit a woman outside of self defense. My dad never hit my mom.. they had their arguments but hes always cool... I was raised differently... wasn’t born rich but definitely raised differently. |
Inspectorsuga22:Bro, I’ve never slapped any woman in my life. Nawaoo |
