eni4real:Don’t talk like that. My friend is a hair dresser. She’s hard working and takes the bus to make people’s hair. She’s the bread winner and gives her husband the meager income she makes... |
Chukwudi4naija:No be by insult bros. If you read my post, you'll see where i said "things can change for better or worse" Atleast, whilst getting into a marriage, you should know your partner can at least meet the basic requirements. I am very successful by the way... I started poor and i know what it is to be poor and i worked my way up. Everyone knows what i do, i sell music equipment and organize shows. |
Wooooow!! This is why I always advise ladies to preferably marry a rich person or at-least someone from a well exposed middle class (lower or upper). The only reason this lady died is because the man didn’t want to spend adequately to get her proper medical attention or it could just be that he can’t afford it. Regardless, the lady is dead and that child will never know the love of a mother. My friend, married a poor man. Too bad I didn’t know her before she married the poor man. She’s a beautiful woman that could’ve had any partner she wanted but she didn’t know her worth. Unfortunately, the man started beating her for the slightest provocation, her first daughter (4 years old) got sexually assaulted by unknown neighbor(s). When she got pregnant with the second child, she got free antenatal but when it was time to give birth, the husband shipped her to the village and hired a cheap dirty local doctor. The second child died at birth and she almost lost her life. Ladies, let them call you gold digger or whatever but never ever ever ever ever marry a poor person... marry a man that can atleast put food on the table for you and your children (2 atleast) and pay medical bills during child birth. He doesn’t have to own a mansion or fancy cars but he must be able to provide the basics for the household. things can always change for the better or worse but wise up! ————— P.s. my friend is an hair dresser. She’s humble and very hard working and her meager income is what she’s been using to sustain her child and stupid husband (I call him stupid cos he beats her$. As a matter of fact, the reason I chose to become close to her was cos she was willing to spend the little income she made on me after I told her I was really starving and haven’t had anything to eat all day. She has a heart of Gold and would’ve been greater with the right man or right opportunity/circumstance. |
I love this Congrats to Azizat. Against all odds, she did it. We have to support our female athletes just as much or as we support our male athletes. |
OTayobami:I highly doubt the veracity of this story. Hey he NFF has really cleaned up. Kindly inbox me their names so I can push for investigation. |
etebefia:Exactly how I feel!! Ambode was a class act.. I really don’t like this Sanwo olu and even disliked him more after he made it public that he was considering bringing back mandatory sanitation day..... while sanitation is important, it is not worth shutting down the economic activities of Eko. I see him as a clueless visionless person. |
It’s been less than a week but I already dislike this guy. Unlike Ambode, I can tell this guy is a small minded guy. Ambode was making major projects while my guy is trying to bring back mandatory weekend sanitation. Like who fucccking thinks of bringing economic activities to a halt in order to mandate the citizens to do the government’s job? |
This is not good oh... where were all these people when this girl was growing up? If they had played their part and supported this girl, she probably would have made a lot of different choices with her life. Women are very emotional so she would have feelings towards her dad but as a man, I’ll never acknowledge or even recognize the existence of family members that let me suffer miserably. This is same thing with my extended family. Growing up, we were not treated fairly or recognized in anyway. Now they all forming familiarity cos we are so successful and making things happen. My brothers and sisters, God cannot be mocked and don’t expect to reap where you didn’t sow anything but your sperm. |
I remember the first one he hosted. Took about 5k from thousands of young people as entrance fee then organized a very shabby show which has not a single successful alumni!!! This is a great idea but it has to be someone motivated to help young boys become successful not just looking out for their own pockets! |
Ejanla07:She made very very valid point. Bed Nwoko is a public office holder. He’s a billionaire but I don’t know his business besides politics. Keep it real, does he have any major project to his name? Hospital? School? Library? Just anything.... It is well with Nigerians. Our leaders prefer us uneducated because that keeps us gullible and stupid like most people on Nairaland. |
cococandy:Thank you my sister. Nairaland is a reflection of the Nigerian society. There are very few individual on here that are reasonable and I commend you for being one of them. Girls get kidnapped, raped and murdered but the oafs here will call them “slay queen” A female gets missing for days and the oafs will say things like “go check her boyfriend house” They like to see women subdued without opinion or sense, They like to see unsuccessful people because it makes them feel better about themselves. They worship the same politicians that have embezzled their future and the future of their future generations. |
GeneralPula:I used to think like you till I started traveling... Bro, Ghana is better than Nigeria Rwanda is better South Africa Algeria Morocco Egypt Tunisia Eritrea All these countries I’ve been to and all are better than Nigeria. They all have 24 hr power supply. Something we haven’t figured out in 2019. Lol... don’t dull yourself. |
People are ignorant. Nigeria has the largest economy in Africa, Some of The largest manufacturers and will stand to gain the most if we join the agreement. Our people are very innovative but Nigeria is a very very limited market. Allowing our manufacturers to sell to over 1.2 billion people is definitely better than just 200 million (estimated Nigerian population). We are pass the opportunity of our lifetime. Most of us already source foreign made goods in Europe, China and America. Just imagine if we brought all that money back to Africa? Africa is the hardest continent to trade in and we need to soften things up else we will remain perpetually poor!! Other countries should be worried about us not the other way round. The decision to abstain from signing the agreement is to favor a very very few billionaire manufacturers in Nigeria whom do not want any competition or want to improve the quality of their product. Competition is good... no continent or country has ever flourished without the zeal to out do their competitors. United States wouldn’t be United States if it wasn’t for WWII and the impending doom from Germany if they didn’t sit up. Canada, Mexico and United States have free trade agreement and even though USA is the largest economy, it’s greatly benefitting... let’s participate and if it doesn’t make us richer in 10 years, let’s pull out. |
If you have used filters on your photo, taken pictures in front of a Behind environment, posed in or around a nice car posted it online, you’re no different from this girl. I’ve posted pictures in private jets that weren’t mine, I’ve posted pictures in cars that weren’t mine, When I was younger, I’ve posted pictures of houses that were mine and acted like my dad owned it coz i was poor and wanted to belong!!! Nobody killed me!! |
I’m not a fan of bobrisky’s transgender madness but I’ve noticed that she’s a well thinking individual and I’ve heard numerous people give her compliments. 1- I stand with the girl because she did not commit any crime or broke the laws of Nigeria. There is no law against living a fake life if you have not used it to defraud someone. She was allowed on the property by the security man and she took pictures in Front of the property and claimed it was hers on the internet. If anyone is to be blamed, it’s the security man that failed to do his job and let her into the property. What she did was morally wrong but it’s definitely not a crime. 2- on the other hand, the owner of the property and his associates committed numerous crimes by: A- kidnaping: holding her in the property against her will B- impersonation of law enforcement officials. C- Threat of bodily harm D- assault: by putting handcuffs on her and making her kneel down E- blackmail and attempt to extort: according to the girl, he forced her to shoot the video and insisted that she brought 500k. If that is true, then he violated the laws. Every well thinking Nigerian should stand against behaviors exhibited by the owner of the property. I am not in anyway condoning what the girl did but I maintain she did not commit a crime and even if she did, why not report to the police and let them handle it? |
Lol.... if you played your as a father, she would've never married a man older than her father. Shame on you! |
Ambode is one of the most underrated governors in nigeria. He worked for the people. While I respect tinubu, I feel like Ambode should’ve insisted on letting the people decide if they want him to continue. It’s his right as a Nigerian Citizen. Regardless, I hope that tinubu’s Sanwo olu will have the same zeal as Ambode Eko oni baje!! |
Despite their huge income, these legislators have not passed any meaningful and impactful bills. 1- age and gender discrimination in the labor market is still alive. 2- tribalism or nepotism in all sphere of our Nigerian existence is still alive. We go for the most familiar rather than the most competent. 3- what of armed forces reform bill? So many bills these people can push but they choose to sit idle!! Fat paycheck is not justifiable!! |
Guys, this is why you have to be successful in a way that is legal and sustainable so your children will not be sold off to the highest bidder. Work hard!!!! From several pictures, i can tell from Regina's body language that this isn't what she wanted from life. |
The made in Nigeria my parents bought in 2003 still dey solid.... all pproducts by all nigerian Manufacturers cannot be perfect but generalizing in a derogatory manner shows the girl is extremely stupid! |
vRendoh:Loool... with your mentality, my guy if you ever go abroad, oyibo people go use you mop floor and toilet.... better wise up. I can tell you’re not really exposed from your comments so I’ll let you slide cos I actually used to think exactly like you till I started traveling a lot and seeing the reality on ground. Don’t ever take the side of a foreigner against that your your fellow black man! Don’t ever support and help these white people push their white supremacist agenda!! Be wise and wake up! |
vRendoh:People like you are never successful because you blame everyone but yourself!! What have you produced? What value do you bring on earth? You’re a failed black man yourself lol!! |
The dude is wrong... Never ever call out someone for claiming they are depressed. Even if she says she wasn’t, a dumb person can see her behavior has changed recently. We all know she’s overweight and I bet she knows it too. What’s the point in mocking her for her body? It’s just childish... she huddled and bought a Honda, instead of congratulating her and moving on, you decided to make fun of her..... Make we Dey get small compassion for one another, it’ll go a long way. |
landmark86:I’ll stop short of calling you a fool because I know you’re very inexposed!! A racist does not care if you’re from Nigeria or black American. All they see is you’re skin color and they’ll treat you worst than dirt at every opportunity. Shebi Nigerians like to worship white and brown people loool... you guys should continue!! This has nothing to do with religion. Go to Europe and see how blacks are treated like 10th class people, go to fuckiiingg Israel and see how blacks are treated, go to Middle East ad see... we as blacks need to unite!!! Fuccck your tribe!! Let’s unite. |
I remember when olamide was dissing donjazzy. Donjazzy has made like 5 artistes blow simultaneously but olamide is complaining about 2 artistes .... class doesn’t make noise!! |
RTSC:At 21, she’s old enough to come and go as she pleases. You gotta learn she’s an individual with free will and not an object. Offer great advise and try to protect her but never ever try to stop people from doing what they want even if it’s going to destroy them. |
firstbornson:Your sister is 19. You’re at fault in this situation. She’s old enough to make decisions for herself. You don’t expect her to do what you say but as a big brother, learn to listen more especially to non-verbal cues. Don’t give advise unless you’re asked for it. Ask her how she’s doing, let her talk and you listen. Pursue personal success. Right now, you’re a failure and you need to turn that around cos no one within and outside your family will respect you if you remain a failure |
You’d have to kill me first before you humiliate me like this. How can you allow man like you intimidate to the point of making you swim in stinky disease infested water?? Nigerians (especially the men) need to know when to stand up. The fear of death is what has kept most Nigerian citizens living a life worst than death. |
United States under Trump will make it harder for people from black and brown countries to migrate or visit the United States. Having said that, it appears the only reason our Government is proactive on this issue is because it also affects them and their wards. Same way the only time they got were able to get a Nigerian pardons in Saudi Arabia was because she’s the child of an elite. Several innocent people have been hung in same country but the mo |
Nice!! |
Their managers are stupid. While Davido made them a promise, he’s under no obligation to fulfill it because he’s not legally bonded to do so. Instead of calling him out, their managers should’ve asked them to tell Davido to just support their work and repost their video instead of giving them the money. People skill is very important in this business and those boys just someone that could’ve helped a huge platform. |
Eddiecute86:This forum makes me sad coz this is a sample of the general population and even people that have access to this forum can be considered as “more” enlightened than the average Nigerian population. The collective future of our country is fuccccked if we do not invest in education but our leaders prefer the majority dim witted illiterate masses!! |
