Bro wake the fuccck up...

Like seriously must we politicize everything?
The political elites get treated abroad for any and every ailment but you my friend will be fucccked if you ever fall ill.

Wake up.
I don’t know why it seems like only few people are awake in Nigeria while the rest are asleep.

UAE produces 2.5million barrels of oil per day...and their population is 11million

Nigeria manages at 2.01 million barrels per day and we are 200million.

And you expect UAE LEVEL with a high population??

grin grin grin grin grin

And you said population does not matter...IT DOES.

The problem is even compounded by the very low prices we pay as power which means power supply can't be fixed.

We are not a rich nation...and the CORRUPTION makes it worse.
I knew that would be your argument but even with our high population and limited resources, one would expect at least some level of progress to be made in some areas.
We don’t have roads, security, education, hospital, electricity, water, public transportation.

All I’m asking is which aspect of national development has the government succeeded?

Building 36 world class hospitals (one in each state) is achievable but has it been done?

Guy shift before I vex.

OK...

What if I told you guys that we could have MODERN AMBULANCES, ETC...like the ones we see aborad....IF WE PAID MORE TAXES.

Many Nigerians cry about how bad things are, and then port to countries like Canada, UK and US...where they pay municipal taxes as high as N30000 monthly or more....and in return, ambulance service is among the stuff provided.

Our health care budget was N800billion out of N8 trillion naira...that's 2billion USD. In the USA...the state of New Youk has a budget of $160BN USD.

And we expect miracles from our scanty budget of $22billionn naira.?

And corruption is eating our budget as well...meanwhile PDP and APC supporters are defending their corrupt politicans well well...

If you want nice stuff....PAY TAXES. If you want increased funding..PAY HIGHER TAXES. Our tax rate is 0-24% In developed countries it can be has high as 50% per annum.

MODIFIED

Guys....YOU CANNOT EXPECT TO BUY A CAR OF 8 million for just 8000 naira

Yet you guys want USA , UK , EUROPEAN level of CARE for a fraction of the amount they spend there for health care??

By the way, anyone who quotes me to insult or abuse me would be reported to the mods. I have made my point without insults. You can do the same too. Uncivilized remarks would be reported.
Tax free countries like UAE still have better healthcare than ours. Before you say their population is smaller than ours, ask yourself if our government has made even the smallest impact in our country. Do you have 1 just one world class publicl hospital in Nigeria?

Omotola protested against GEJ.
Being an advocate of good governance does not mean you cannot shake hands and with the government.

Such a shame that anyone that criticizes ApC is tagged and labeled all sort of names. Their downfall will be epic.

Observation: there's a massive increase In the deaths of youths from the mentions of ada, and so many others that their deaths are shocking did we (the youths) do something bad, what's the offence?
Or is it an individual problem.
Does it call for collective prayer?
What's the way forward, can't just imagine this young man went to school started serving and suddenly dies!
How will this news be explained to his parents and loved ones?
In all we need God's protection.
That man died because of our dysfunctional public transport system. A system that allows death traps called “molue” to ply the road.
We have enough prayers In this country and what we need now is collective voting not collective prayers

Why are the youths letting these same old and retard thieves rule Nigeria when we can Troop out enmasse and vote for someone vision and wisdom

This is what the country has turned our graduates to. Lots of graduates riding motorcycle.

That is what the country has always been.

A country where we celebrate people for being able to send emails and returning wallet. I mean, props to the conductor though... before they call me hater.

I appeal to the Nigerian Government to invest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

While I commend her honest, I’d like to appeal to Nigerian rulers to invest In Science, technology, engineering and mathematics education and creating an environment that enables its growth.

Nigeria is the largest black nation. We have great genes, intelligence, physical strength and should not be groveling at the white man’s foot.

We have to fix our country then push for unification of west Africa with Nigeria being it’s capital but we have to lead the way.

This is sad shittt... I love my country and very passionate about a greater Nigeria but I don’t know why our political leaders cannot build put selfishness aside and help build a Present where the child of a carpenter can become a doctor or teacher or president. A society with opportunities for anyone willing to work...

The Nigerian dream

I mentioned something similar in one of the threads I created a while back.

Nigerians want the best things. You know, things like the Europeans have but dont want to pay for it. How do expect world class infrastructures to be built when 90% do not even pay taxes. Just with Oil moneyhuh

It doesn't work that way my friends. Nigerians have to collectively contribute to achieving the Nigeria of our dreams.
You're definitely nt the brightest light in the room.
How do you expect a citizen to pay taxes when there is unjustifiable wasteful spendings in all tier of governemtn?
Why should you and i as citizens give our money to people that can't manage the money from our COMMON resources?

Nigeria is an immensely wealthy country in terms of natural resources but the people that rig themselves into office have consistently pocketed our wealth and expensed it on their cronies and allies.

Wake the fuccck up!

Boss magicminister good morning, trust you're doing well. I've tried severally contacting you in the past but my efforts proved abortive. If you would remember, you were instrumental in offsetting my fees when I gained admission in 2015, I'm eternally grateful for that singular act of kindness.

I made some money off freelancing last year and I'd be willing to take the plunge. I have the financial wherewithal required to take the risk. Boss kindly shoot me a mail ( demedici758@yahoo.com). I just want to take care of my parents.
My brother, I’m so sorry for missing your message. How are you doing?

To the foreigner, we are all Nigerians. No need to rejoice over the misfortune of others. Crime has no tribe or race.

Before you call me biased, kindly go back to the Dubai robbery threat and read what I said.

We need to stop this tribalism bullshit...

Rally round the Igbo just because of an Award we have been winning ourselves, you guys won't seize to amaze me, they should be the one rallying around us grin

Igbo we never rally round the Yoruba so why should Yoruba do the same thing?
We should rally around each other.

Yorubas are highly intellectual no doubt and have brought a lot of pride to our country.
But we need each other if we must succeed in this world.
I don’t think any other tribe in Nigeria gets the job done like the ibos.

Visionaries like Tinubu and business moguls and innovators from both tribes (coscharis, innoson, Andela ) and co, have a whole lot to offer.

There will always be oafs from both side but if both tribes unite and tackle a common goal, the results will shock the world!

Nigeria should rally around the ibos for their innovation.

If yorubas and ibos work together, this country will turn around in less than 5 years!

Nice!

I don't have an opinion over whom an adult decides to date.
She is young and living her life.

My only advise is that she takes maximum advantage of her current situation/opportunity.
I also advise her benefactor to set her up with something sustainable. Don't just give her instagram picture moments but teach her how to fish!!
