Politics / Re: Nigerians Reacts To President Buhari's Twit About The Murdered Woman In Kano by Magnitki: 7:27am On Jun 05, 2016
Sweetlemon:
People just like twisting this man's words. When he said people should respect others faith he was also referring to the killers who couldn't respect the victim's faith. It's a two way thing and the respect should be mutual.

It's unfortunate that people can be so blindly programmed to condemn anything that comes from their President simply because they didn't vote for him. If you have two children that fights, after separating them wouldn't you advise them on the way forward?

Politics / Re: EFCC Declares Iyiola Omisore Wanted For N700m Fraud (Pic) by Magnitki: 4:36pm On May 25, 2016
EFCC has not been able to convict one of these major thieves because of newspaper trial.

how about keeping your discovery classified, gather all damning evidence, pick him up and trying him.

convict him and send him to jail for consuming our collective wealth.

it is possible Omisore has not been notified buts already carrying a bogus headline on newspapers.

how on earth do you expect him in possession of 700 million, almost a billion not to tamper with your remaining evidence.

Our EFCC is mushroom investigators.

I will do a better job.

watch how Omisore will stroll in tomorrow and they will detain him for like a week and free him. we go in and out of court till 2019.

abeg they should face our economy. enough of this madness.

the world is laughing at us.

Not notified and he approached a federal high Court for his fundamental human rights. Please, read before you quote

Fayose needs to be taken to Yaba to get his head examined. Truly he has gone nut

I totally agree with you. Am sure that man is not normal. I suggest that all future political office seekers should be made to undertake psychological test.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: SERAP To CBN: Withdraw Corrupt Recruitments Or We’ll Sue by Magnitki: 7:43am On Mar 21, 2016

I am very much in support of suing but the CBN. However, the fundamental question is; will this change anything?

Even if the CBN cancels this recruitment and do an open one, the children of the politically connected would still be the one to be appointed. It's just like the immigration test in which people lost their lives writing test for positions that had already been filled through the backdoor.
Why put people through the stress of applying and hoping to be employed when those to be employed have already been determined.

We need to move beyond open recruitments and get to a point where we can be sure that people without connections are employed on merit.

You don't want the abnormalities to be corrected and you still want fair recruitment. How do you achieve this?

jakiedudu:
If the state and federal govt insist on presecuting Zakzaky and his shiites followers for blocking the road, who will punish other religious groups for using the road as a prayer ground

Those other religious groups gets police permissions and protection, that's why it's the police that supervise the momentary blockages for security reasons. But Shi'ites don't ask for police permissions before blocking highways for 4 to 5 hours, constituting a government of theirs, causing unexpected hardships to innocent citizens.

They are testing their power to see when it will be ripe for them to declare their target, proclaiming their Islamic Republic of Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Ex-Heads Of State Got Armoured Cars From Dasuki - Daily Trust by Magnitki: 12:18pm On Dec 15, 2015
ALTERNATEID:
Former heads of state are entitled to security protection and vehicles. The armoured vehicles are always budgeted for so, no big deal here.

GEJ will also start enjoying the same benefits from next year. So, Dasuki can't hide under this excuse to explain away how he and jonathan stole and shared $2.1billion meant for hardware purchase.

It's a pity that most of our commentators do not have knowledge of what they are commenting about. Those cars are budgeted for. So the NSA was not doing them any favour.

I don't support the blocking of road by the sect but the have demonstrated here their careless handling of civilian citizens.

pls, just shut up already...your emotional outbursts is devoid of any logic whatsoever. What do you have to say about the sunnis that block major roads during their prayers and ceremonies?

Incredible revelation. My biggest problem is all this people with sentiment who would never allow their tribe's men to be punished for for Nigeria to cleansed for once.

We pray that Almighty God will give PMB the courage to continue with the anticorruption war.

Politics / Re: How Dasuki Aided Importation Of Illegal Arms Into Nigeria – NATFORCE by Magnitki: 3:07pm On Dec 04, 2015
omeke12:
Some strange things are happening in the country and only a particular group termed "wailers" are taking note.
..
Our president has made it obvious that he has no regard for federal character which other administrations tried to uphold.... to the extent he successfully appointed an Hausa man, not just an Hausa man but a North Easterner which is the same zone he is from to head a very sensitive commission like INEC..(hmmm..this is scary oo)...even d fearless Obj used an Igbo man, the clueless one used Jega (a northner)
..

Recently also, Nigerian court have allowed a party to field two governorship candidates against one person yet, some change agents see it as normal. (all is not well oo)

Recently also, same Nigerian court sacked a constitutionally elected governor and replaced him with another of different party because his party unanimously chose him as candidate from a primary that held somewhere not the capital city... just wondering, y wasn't PDP in taraba allowed to redo the primary and produce another candidate? (am worried, u better be)
..
this is a mind troubling issue. u might think u are a pro change agent but no one knows tomorrow ... u might not be satisfied with the ruling party tomorrow and u might want to change them through your vote, that's when u realise that the courts are there to make sure the ruling party wins all the time.
..
am not partisan, just trying to make common sense..
...
remember, Robert Mugabe and his party won through the votes of the people, things like this started happening, wailers complained, non wailers thought its nothing, today, both wailers and non wailers united still can't vote Mugabe and his party out of power.
..
A word is enough for the wise.

Am not sure you are in your senses.
