Ministerial screening should be anytime from next month so that by that time, government must have understand the extent of the subsidy removal.

Infact, I suggested some weeks ago that the money saved from the subsidy should be kept for 3 months, FiRS collected highway Tax in the first 6 months, if you add all those together for 3 months, there should be something reasonable in terms of local generated funds to cater for the effects of the subsidy removal without borrowing

A sensible person should know by now that Tinubu has nothing to hide. The same school wrote to the presidential election tribunal confirming that Bola Tinubu actually attended the university and graduated with honors. They even released the certified true copy of his academic records signed by their legal officer to the tribunal including a new certificate that was reissued. So, what exactly are you sore losers still looking for?
You are not making sense...

When did the school avail the tribunal with the confirmation that Tinubu was indeed a bonafide alunnus of the university?

Can you explain the contradictions in the Adekunle angle and the gender inconsistencies in the purported certificate?

Atiku the sore loser and perennial presidential aspirant who is not destined to be president. The petition he filed in Nigeria against Bola Tinubu where he raised this same issue has not been decided and he’s in another US court chasing shadows around.

Atiku is a born loser as far as the presidency of Nigeria is concerned. Sadly, his empty ego and crass belief in fake marabouts won’t let him see the foolishness of his obsessive pursuit of an ambition he’s not destined to fulfill. He will lose again as always.

Nigeria constitution is different from the American constitution for a reason.

In Nigeria, according to our constitution all votes cast are equal.

The equality Claus is specifically to accommodate for our diverse background and protect sensitivity of the difference in our background.

Nigeria don't use an electoral college system but popular votes.
Nigeria has a federal constitution which stipulates that for a candidate to emerge as the winner in the first ballot in a presidential election, they must garner at least 25% in at least 24 states AND at least 25 percent of votes cast in the FCT.

That is the law with a manifestly unambiguous provision.

We have to set a precedence that impunity and self-help will eventually be pushed back...

In my years alive, I have never seen a more brainwashed set of people than the supporters of labour party.

Firstly, the problem been referred to here is the likely pandemonium the 25% in Abuja debate if ratified by the Court will create for future Elections.

> It will elevate Abuja voters above all other states in Nigeria.

> It will go against the constitution of Nigeria that states all votes cast in Nigeria are the same because it will mean casting your vote in Abuja is more important than casting it in Akure, Onisha or Kano.

Secondly, a runoff doesn't itself guarantee that the winner of the runoff will still get the 25% requirement in Abuja. So will we simply continue to go for runoffs until the winning candidate get 25% in Abuja even if he gets 25% in all the 36 states of the federation.

Furthermore, this will put a weird spotlight on the democraphics of Abuja in future Elections which might create an ugly situation. Politicians might just import people from other states to make up the 25% in Abuja which might create an unwanted national debate in the future. Tribes will begin to fight over who should be allowed to vote in Abuja etc.

In conclusion, Tinubu's lawyer in his final written argument to the judges is only pushing his legal points with real life likely scenarios that might come out of the judgement.
Shallow-minded views...

The US uses sundry state caucuses to select party flag bearers of the two major political parties in addition to the electoral college.

The requirement of getting 25% in Abuja in the first ballot will only consolidate our democracy so keep your narrow-mindedness to yourself.

You should go and take a more balanced look at the provision of the constitution: the 25% in Abuja requirement does not apply in a runoff...

In any case, the law is sacrosanct and must apply...

This is another salient legal point that was raised by Olanipekun in his Written Address. The labour party, being 3rd placed party, sought to be declared winner and returned elected without joining the PDP who came in 2nd place in the elections as a party (Respondent) to its petition.

It is trite law that no order can be made against a non-party to a suit. And PDP will be grossly affected were the Court to declare Peter Obi the winner of the elections.

This is one of the technical nuances/point which Chief Olanipekun used to knock out Peter Obi's Petition. I know Obidients will insult and ignore but the hands of the Courts are tied and they cannot rule in favor of Obi.

A United Nations referendum was held in British Cameroons on 11 February 1961 to determine whether the territory should join neighbouring Cameroon or Nigeria. This followed an earlier plebiscite in Northern Cameroons in 1959 which voted to postpone a decision. The option of full independence was not on the ballot, having been opposed by Andrew Cohen, the UK representative to the UN Trusteeship Council, as well as African and anti-colonial delegations, notably by E. M. L. Endeley, who favoured independence by joining Nigeria, and John Ngu Foncha, who favoured independence by joining Francophone Cameroon.

So the 2 great men from Cameroon who supported joining Nigeria or Cameroon respectively are not Cameroonians.
I believe just like Ipob, you believe everything Ambozonia warlords say
Stop talking what you have no clue...

The British Cameroun issue was resolved via a UN-supervised referendum. The enclave was angling for independence but the desire was vetoed by the British at the UN General Assembly leading to the referendum.

If independence were not on the cards, why is Ambazonia people angling for separation and independence now with countries like the US and UK asking that all parties should go back to the original agreement.

They never wanted to be a separate country. Stop the lies and the twisted history. The British never gave them the option of becoming an independent nation, rather the option was either to join Nigeria or join La Republique du Cameroon.

After Nigeria's independence in 1960, Enugu remained the capital of Eastern Nigeria which British Cameroon was a part of. Before independence the British Cameroonians held meaningful positions in the parliament of Eastern Nigeria, but after Nigeria's independence, these people were made to be mere floor members. This angered the people, which led to their yarning to be free from Igbo dominance.

Then the British stepped in and gave them an offer. Letting them know that they are too small, with limited resources as at then to be a country.
It's either they join Nigeria fully or opt for La Republique du Cameroon.
They opted for the later, because they needed to run away from Igbo dominance.
The northern part opted to join Nigeria because they felt Northern Nigerians treated them better than La Republique du Cameroon.

Go and educate yourself on Cameroon plebiscite of 1959 &1961, and The Foumban Conference.
The trash you typing here has no basis in reality but is rather a figment of your warped imagination.

Go and read accounts by Anglophone leaders in the current Ambazonia crisis and get your lazy self up to speed instead of spreading defeatist fairy tales...

The South Cameroun wanted full independence but were vetoed at the UN by Great Britain.

Their leaders were shopping for a better alternative and decided to enter into a quasi-confederal union with the Republic of Cameroun with a secession clause for full independence after some years.

The decision of Paul Biya to unilaterally change the constitution to a unitary one is at the root of the crisis...

The North was the worst culprit, yet since the creation of this country voting pattern of the north has been uniform on average.
