And did they tell you the cocoa rubber and oil palm plantations established by Awolowo in the bendel province is not producing again?

You have not been to other regions to know the level of development there.

As much as igbos tried during they last election to whip up religious sentiments in the north they were largely unsucessful
Why?
The northern region treated it's minorities best among all the regions......that's why they are so cohesive.....the minorities had a sense of belonging and their areas were also developed . Infact the engine room of the northern economy is in the minorities areas of Benue plateau Kaduna, only Kano is a Fulani town

We know how igbos like revisionism to hide their foolishness but we won't allow you miscreants yo mislead the public. Thank God everything is public record nobody go tell us cock and bull story.
You are not making sense...

Are we talking reality or the figment of your warped imagination?

Ask any elder from the northern minority and they will tell you how they were completely subjugated by the Hausa-Fulani hegemony from 1957 till the end of the First Republic...

You cannot travel and you cannot read: Shouldnt you be pitied?

OP during the time of the Eastern region there was nothing like Port Harcourt Province. Port Harcourt was under Owerri Province. Okpara just like every average Igbo man felt he was developing Igboland.

Read and digest your info first before spewing trash on nairaland. Minorities were subdued especially after Nigeria gained her independence. Only the north treated her minorities fairly, hence their level of unity till date.

In the South all the minorities opted to leave. SW Cameroon eg Bamenda province, Mamfe province, Kumba province and Victoria province left the Eastern region to join Cameroon, because of oppression by the Igbos.

Midwest region left the Western region to be on their own based on the same feeling of oppression.

The Ijaws tried leaving the Eastern region, but Adaka Boro was arrested and jailed by Ojukwu and our Igbo grandparents.

During the civil war, the military president who was Gowon had to grant the minorities their wishes which weakened the strength of the Igbos.

So stop opening thread of lies. Even till date minorities have it worse in this country.

Building a hotel and an industrial layout does not mean Igbos were good to the minorities. Ask yourself who were the people working in the hotels? Igbos!
Who were the people heading the affairs of the hotels? Igbos!
What factories/companies were allowed to operate in the industrial layout? Igbo owned.

Or you want to tell us that the Yorubas and the Hausas never built any meaningful infrastructure in areas of their minorities? Then you lie....
The load of baloney you just put up there just turned history on its head...

The north was the worse culprit in the marginalisation of minorities...

Read your history, Mr Fake Igboman...

The Middle Forum is probably the oldest minority political platform in the history of Nigeria so what are you talking about?

Southern Cameroon did not opt to leave Nigeria because of the ridiculous reasons you adduced but because they enetered into a kind of confederation with Francophone Cameroon with the option of seeking full independence after a short period of time...

The crisis in Ambazonia or Anglophone Cameroon today is an attempt by Anglophone Cameroon to call back the agreement that was reneged by Paul Biya in the 1980s...

Before you post these childish opinions, I suggest you do your research first...

That does not dispute the fact that SW+kwara is almost 60m while your region is around 22m.

This shows that large percentage of the people living in SW are not even yorubas.. Why then did you now think the poor ones in those statistics are yoruba?

Are the people coming to yorubaland to make money making money from ghosts or stones?

Why are people not coming to your region to make money if you are any better than us?

Don't tell me because of airports and port because you have those and you can make it work whenever you like.
Is it not pointless arguing with an insufferable ignoramus?

The total number of People in your entire region will just be little above people Living in oyo state alone.

Comparing stats is useless, not even when poor igbos and hausas are all here in SW looking for what to it. People go to where they will make money.. Majority of the poor people here are Igbos and other tribes trying to look for what to eat.
Abi have you seen yorubas hawking gala or asking for money in your region?
You dont have to sound like an ignoramus to make a point.

The population of Igbos and Yorubas in Nigeria is roughly the same size...

And also, the "I'm an obidient but Tinubu is doing well already, let's forget about this court case and move on ,after all , it's good governance we want. If you can't move on, you're very bitter " groups.
Very disgusting set of people.

Even those that claimed to be neutral,AKA the fencists, have found their voices.
In essence, they were never neutral, they only waited for the right opportunity to show their dirty lingeries.

They literally want to gaslight everyone to accept the sham that INEC conducted as a presidential election and force their candidates down everyone's throats.

After all ,to them ,"politics is just a game ,the time for the game is over, everyone move on !"

People died !
Some were injured just because they want to exercise their right to vote.
Tribal profiling and thugs harassing voters was the order of the day.
Armed thugs snatching ballot boxes and many electoral fruad happened before our very eyes and we should just move on like nothing happened ?

There can't be a "moving on" without justice ,and until the right thing is done,we can't claim to be practicing democracy as a nation.

It's high time we put to an end this attitude of individuals getting into seat of power by undemocratic means and Electoral malpractice and fruad ,but when they are already in power, they turn their smelly mouth around to the populace to preach about democracy ,as the president -select did on JUNE 12.

I sincerely salute the courage of you guys because a person who is not determined will easily give up on this country...

I am yet to see a more hopeless collection of humans...

They sow the wind but recoil when the whirlwind emerges as a product,,

How can a person whose head is correct expect to reap progress and growth from the tree of injustice and inequity?

This is playing out again all over. Buhari was sold as the Napoleon and Solomon of our time rolled into one...
It is the same noise, the same propaganda and then the reality began to sink in.

Peter Obi must not capitulate on what he is pursuing. Let there be few men who refuse to lose their heads when the vast majority choose to take flight of their senses...
