Jobs/Vacancies › Re: When Is The Usual Salary Payday In Your Place Of Work by Majesty7: 11:48pm On Feb 12, 2024
thesicilian:
Ideally salary should be paid before the end of the month so that people can properly budget how to use their own money. However if you really look at it, receiving your salary every 26th day of the same month is essentially the same as receiving it every 15th day of the following month, because it is the same number of days in between the payments
The key is for the salary to be paid regularly
You are right

Politics › This Is The Time For Nigeria by Majesty7(op): 6:41pm On Feb 07, 2024
This is the right time for made in Nigeria products to capitalise on the market and flood their product with it.

However, trust Nigerians with their greediness, they will capitalise negatively.

This is the right time for 100% made in Nigeria product to flourish. Instead to look at the good side, they will still want to inflate their product in accordance to the USD. Funny enough, it is so bad in Nigeria that Nigerian used product are also competing with foreign used ones. Everyone of them citing USD.

Are we spending USD in Nigeria? If you want to have a comic relief, go to the car sector. Some are even trying to sell a Nigerian used bettle for a million Naira. Why are we so greedy? If we can't get it now, we can NEVER get it again.

Yes, petrol is expensive but how many times has the price of petrol and others gone up like the USD? Let's discourage import for now and stick to our local mades. But if you have the money to buy import, go for it.

Yesterday, I was told the local rice is now #65k from #55k. People just trying every effort to compete with the foreign rice. Please what has changed with our local rice and beans? What has local rice and beans got to do with the USD fluctuation?

Are you paying your workers in USD or are you just importing your milling machines?

Nigeria na una know ooo

Why is Abosede crying over the burial of a corpse over who an autopsy has been performed and the result is being awaited? MohBad resembles almost all his siblings in Ikere Ekiti. So, only a complete mumu will give this idiotic woman with a response. Why did she not go away with MohBad and his siblings if indeed Mr Aloba wasn't their father?
Stop quoting that idiot. Let her be.

superCleanworks:
Many Nigerians are used to saying SORRY instead of EXCUSE ME and that can lead to a whole lot of unwarranted "SORRY" especially in an office with high verbal communication rate.

SORRY, where is the door
EXCUSE ME where is the door.

the most ANNOYING is the way people say WELLDONE in place of good morning or any other proper greeting. very off putting. Welldone say wetin I do?
I really don't notice that. I don't think it is a culture thing. Which dialect says sorry instead of excuse me? Why say sorry when you never committed any offense? It is just lack of communication skill. I know of; "please". Most Nigerians uses that but, "sorry"? That is not a Nigerian thing but for half baked humans.

The funniest thing is that those castigating are poor to the brim. You can never see an achiever or someone who understands money making mockery of any entrepreneurship. Failures are the ones who dream high when they are Nothing! They think making wealth is so easy and thereby sleeps their self believing a ghost will drop money by their doorsteps.

Sept to August is 12month

You are confusing yourself self with sept 17 date not knowing the agreement is saying sept 1 to August 30 now there is a fight over 1- 16th days

Finally check the tenancy agreement you signed that the referee

Note your tenancy does not start counting the day you made payment as people usually assume, the tenancy start counting on the date agreed and written on the receipt and on the tenancy agreement
Rubbish. So next payment will be July or the same August? Deluded folks

Good day NL

Please don't air me. I paid my last rent in September, September 17th to be precise. When is my rent suppose to expire, is it not September the following year?

How come they are counting August?

If you do your birthday March 5, are you celebrating your next year birthday by February 5?
OR
When a new child is born on Monday and named Monday the following week, why didn't the naming be held on Sunday..

We calculate everything right but when it comes to rent, we draw the line?

Please come to my rescue and explain because I don't understand again.

When is my rent suppose to expirehuh I need clarification. Thank you.
You are paying in September. That is the norms.

So if you pay August, when will you pay another one? July?

If there is no market, there won't be sales. If there is no shrine taking human sacrifice, there won't be ritual crimes. Tackle this issue from the pastor, imam or herbalist helping them in preparing all these charms

A company used similar criterion for employment many years ago. After rounding up the interview, over 20 applicants were served bread inside nylon. Only two of them actually took time to neatly unseal the nylon before eating the bread. Others just tore the nylon away anyhow.
Eventually, only those 2 were employed.

Later they said it has reduced to 60 million liters.

Even if it’s 1 million liters let assume 670 today price vs previous price 200.

670 - 200 that’s 470

470 X 60 million 28,200,000,000 savings in a day. In a month that should be 846,000,000,000

In 6 months that should be 5,076,000,000,000 (five trillion)

Also the money they saved for floating the naira
From 550 to 110.
