US citizens do not have the right to live/reside in Canada without a visa, they can only visit and stay for a maximum of 6 months at a stretch. Please note that during this time, the kids may not be able to go to school or access free health care and other government benefits.

If your friend's plan is for her kids to visit from time to time then they don't need to be added to her application but if she's planning to move with them, they'll need visas
I really appreciate all the responses. Thank you.
So what is the way forward now? She has already put in an application for her students visa. Does she do a separate one for her kids or can she do that when she gets to canada with them?
I appreciate your answers to my plenty questions.

She needs to include then in her application since she is applying for a Student visa and would be in Canada for more than a year, US Visa holders cant stay in the US indefinitely (they like all visitors can stay for up to six months). She must include then or else they can only enter for a while and leave.

Also they wont have access to any benefit she might be able to enjoy. She would pay for everything for her children

Being American does not grant you limitless access to Canada.

thank you for your response. The kids are American Citizens, not USA visa holders. Does that make it better?

Good day all,
Is there anyone here who can answer this question for me? So my friend got admitted into a university in Canada and is processing her student visa. To my question, her kids are in her application but they have American passports and she didn’t bother including them in her visa application. Will this be an issue for her? Seeing as they have their American passports? Will there be any issue at Nigeria’s immigration or Canada immigration? Thank you!

@shyee good day all, please help.
For self employed members, the column to upload CAC documents is the same as the employment Records right?
Uploading our documents and i just wanted to be sure.
I am asking because my spouse (who is the PA) selected self employed(founder/ceo) and put in his major role(business manager sales/advertising). So at employment records, we see the job role and not the designation there.
We are good to go uploading all CAC and accompanying docs?

Please help! thanks

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
know she wants the best for us but would prefer us being in proximity to them. So, I called my mum yesterday and told her;
Mum: (shouting for joy) ehen remember you promised to take me out when you get approval. I want to go to Jevinik. grin
Me: Jisos! shocked mummy I thought you’d be sad. (disappointed but relieved)
Mum: I’m sad you’ll be leaving but I know better now. This country holds no hope for you, look at how long you’ve been out of job. Go and find something new, just do my visa for me.

I am currently filling visa applications for them
Congratulations, totally loved your write up! especially the bolded grin grin grin grin

It's about having a plan and sticking to it. The exam will set you back a few dollars and you can only write in Canada. I can send you the soft copy I used(main study material though. When you come in and register,
you will be given the same material and you can add study packs at a few extra dollars. I heard of someone who started with CIBC as an advisor and now works for the government of Alberta as a BA earning 6 figures. If you want to go the BA route, you have to put in the required shift. I bought a udemy course and will start as soon as I get comfortable at work.
Hi,I’m looking to branch out to BA too, would you mind sending me the pack too? Taking advantage of the free LinkedIn Learning Courses this January. You can look into it too. Thanks!
