People are beginning to see the good things Gaddafi did for his people and country. Prior to his fall and demise in 2011 before the uprising, the Western media were awashed with news about Gaddafi, labeled him a Brutal dictator and a Terrorist, ruling for one single purpose: To Terrorize His People. The West succeeded. Gaddafi the leader who ruled for 40 years is no more. Now that his's dead, the country is buried in turmoil and conflicts all over the place. Tribal wars here and there. Libya today is a shadow of its former glory. This is what happens when War Entrepreneurs and Conflict Merchants use lies and decied to topple great leader they hate. They use the sympathy of activists, right groups and gullible media houses to achieve their nefarious plan. The same evil machinations is currently being applied in Nigeria. To achieve one purpose: Regime Change through whatever means possible including violence and bloodshed. No Evil Plan Fashion against GEJ shall prosper. |
Tambuwal is just wasting his time and money. He's no longer the Speaker of the House of Representatives. |
Allohrandy:Security of lives and property is not for the government alone but for all citizens. What can the government do if people refused to cooperate? What will GEJ do if people refuse to expose terrorists elements within the community? GEJ can't do much without the total support of people in the region. If you have lived in the north then you will know what am talking about. Many of the people are very uncooperative. Instead of working with the security personnel in the area, they choose to serve as local Intel to Boko Haram. The terrorists use the information they get from their informants and step up attack on military formations. Do you have any idea of the kind of support Boko Haram get in some northern communities? Do you have any idea that many people who lived together for many years were betrayed, exposed and given out to Boko Haram by people they thought were their neighbors simply because they do not support Boko Haram and were subsequently killed? Terrorism is not a fight for the government alone. It's a fight for all of us. |
APContherun:You don talk am. If dem like, make them carry demselves go swim for Atlantic Ocean, no bomb will stop GEJ from working. |
rudedough:You just made a critical point. So many incompetent northerners were enrolled into the Nigerian military no thanks to their top army brass of northern origin, the bulk of which are Boko Haram sympathizers. However not every notherner is sympathetic to Boko Haram. Besides the north is also composed of indigenous Christian communities. |
This thread is rhythm with Bad Bellerism. But that's none of ma business. GEJ till... 2019!!!!! |
I prophecy healing now in Jesus name. Amen All would be well. |
What more can we add to this beautiful article? The only thing I disagree with is the statement that GEJ is not the best. As far as am concerned, GEJ is the best and the most intelligent President Nigeria ever had fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and experience to build and consolidate his achievements over the last four years. The legacy of this admistration is the drive towards a diversified economy. Just like the writer pointed out, GEJ planted many seeds. Seeds that are poised to lift Nigeria to a higher economic pedestal. Seeds in the power sector, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Mortgage and the housing sector, Transportation etc. In short few years, these seeds will mature and take the country to another level of greatness. |
oduastates:You are wrong. Waivers granted by the ministry of finance were on critical equipments through sectors like Agriculture and Power. |
Well, If anything this article just shows exactly what International Reserves are for and who controls it. Compared this to the baseless arguments by some individuals that GEJ squandered our International Reserve on a similar topic yesterday. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi used our reserve to strengthen the Naira, Emefiele on the other hand rearly used the reserve. International events do affect our international reserves on a yearly basis because oil prices are susceptible to world market shocks. Which is why the government is moving aggressively to diversify the economy through agriculture and manufacturing. BTW, Nigeria is only facing a marginal revenue shortfall due to falling oil prices, Nigeria is not broke. |
There goes a good Nigerian making us proud. This is a big lesson to youths. If you don't have anything to do, just ride a bike to Egypt or South Africa. |
APC e minions, Spreading lies as usual. |
No wonder ![]() |
I think the issue of filling for divorce is both ways. In any case, divorce is very destructive to the family. Say no to divorce. |
What more can I add? All have been said. ![]() |
EldaTimba:APC e minions have no clue what International Reserve is talk less of what it's all about. If they do, they wouldn't have created this topic. |
omenka:Stick on the topic posted by your colleague. |
The more I see post like these, the more I'm made to believe that APC got nothing to offer as far as economic development is concerned. Every government have a peculiar kind of challenge. Challenge of international trade as it affect world economic activities and the Nigerian economy. Using international reserves as a yardstick to economic performance without considering other economic indices prior to GEJ administration is laughable. It most have escaped the memory of APC e minions to know that Nigeria was predominantly an mono economy prior to the coming of GEJ. Oil was the single export commodity of Nigeria. How can you have a sound economy without a strong manufacturing base? The manufacturing sector was in a state of comertoes. Go and do a review of the manufacturing sector between 1999 to 2011 and you will see the difference between other administrations and GEJ. Not only is the manufacturing sector coming to life but Nigeria is set to begin export of Automobiles. Was that the situation in OBJ and Yar'adua's era? Nope. Prior to GEJ, non oil export was at a record low. In OBJ's government, non oil export contributed almost nothing to the Nations GDP. Why do you think AGOA failed? Its up to you to find out. The manufacturing sector and non oil export today contribute significant percentage of Nigeria's GDP, the highest ever in the history of the country. Nigeria is becoming more competitive in international trade spiral with non oil export as far as economic diversification is concerned. The records are there for all to see. Under OBJ, the Agricultural sector was crawling. Nigeria was spending huge amount of foreign currency on importation of sugar. Rice importation was at an all time high. How can the economy be in good shape with these records? We were a consuming nation. Nigeria virtually imported every kind foodstuff available during those periods. That's not the case today. It's public knowledge that Nigeria saved over $2 billion dollars from importation of rice. Not only that, Nigeria is scheduled to begin export of rice. That's an economic achievement rival by no other administration if you ask me. By the time you make a sum review of the economic indices between various administration from 1999 to date, You'll discover the real difference between economic growth and economic development. High external reserve with poor economic indices is as good as nothing. |
When you compare GEJ's record and performance with past administrations, you will discover that GEJ is indeed the best leader Nigeria ever had. Records are there for everyone to see. |
The messiah of the APC e minions, Gen Buhari is technically an illitrate. Reason why Idiagbon was the man behind the wheels of government when the duo were in power. They value Almajirism and Sharia more than education. |
What better way to get rid of GEJ than promote anarchy and support terrorists activities in the country? APC leaders doing what they know how to do best. |
