Sad but true. The South is a different country and I will urge all those who inhabit its shores not to tolerate an iota of extreme Islamic ideology. Unfortunately, Nigeria is governed as a unified entity not as a Northern country and Southern country and it really needs someone strong at the center to hold this British creation together. Heaven knows, if Northern Nigeria were a different country I would have emigrated out of it long ago, especially given where I come from. I detest the religious extremism that has always been a part of it. Why can't the North just be a bit more liberal and accommodating of other views. Why must it, and particularly the Hausa-Fulani part, stick to Arabic ideals and views. Gosh, I am really tired. I probably should be born in a Northern Nigeria of 2150, or whatever it will be known as by then.

The way the north is so indoctrinated into extreme religious beliefs and ideology is very mind boggling. They're basically breeding terrorists on a daily basis no thanks to Sharia ideology. On a general note the people are kind and brotherly but on religious note, they're are something else. Northern leaders have failed their people.

Why are you guys always so bitter and jealous of GEJ? When your masters, Buhari and Kwankwaso declared their presidential ambitions you guys went helta skelta all over the net singing sai Buhari, sai Kwankwaso. No one stopped you. Security was provided to make sure everyone was save at the venue. Your APC rallies went on smooth and fine with no security bridge. You were happy. Buhari was even declared the President of the Federal Republic of E-Nairaland.
Now that it's GEJ turn to declare his presidential ambition and is providing the necessary logistics to ensure a save and smooth rally, you guys are going haywire. Are you guys afraid that GEJ will win?
Aren't you the ones that kept shouting since time immemorial that if PDP adopt GEJ as its candidate it would be a smooth ride for Buhari? If that is the case GEJ's declaration tomorrow should be the day you guys will look forward to as the perfect chance for your party. But instead you are just screaming all over the place.
Well get use to it. No amount of intimidation will stop GEJ from declaring his Presidential ambition. Your pains and bitterness are just clear testament that APC will do anything and use any excuse to stop GEJ from declaring his fundamental right as a Citizen of Nigeria.

Am perfectly sure the bomb blast in Yobe state that claim the lives of innocent students this morning was a calculated attempt to force GEJ to cancel his declaration rally. That has always been the pattern. Every time GEJ is scheduled to attend a rally, a bomb will explode. No Evil Plan Fashion against GEJ shall prosper.

Do you know that most Northern leaders were vehemently against state police? Nigeria is a federal state yet security is so centralized. You can never guarantee security with this kind of arrangement. Community policing is impossible in a centralized security structure. Yet northern leaders want the present status quo remain. Northern leaders are enemies of the north period.
The sooner Nigeria decentralized the security system, and provide opportunity for states to create their own Police force as they wish, the better for the future of Nigeria.

Security of lives and property is a job for all Nigerians. Yes I agree that government has a responsibility to protect lives and property but they can only do that if we all join hands and work together as a unit.
