NYSC / Re: How The Nysc Orientation Camp Has Been Turned To A Business Hub By The Goverment by MAJORBANKZ(m): 11:25am On Mar 10, 2022
well observed during my stay in Asaya kogi camp, the cost of making POS withdrawal was outrageous. 10% for every withdrawal
i had to pay 3k with abeg to deposit my allowee
SalisuJasper:
I am currently in plateau state nysc orientation camp and with what i have seen so far, the government needs to do better as the 21days in camp can actually put you into depression if you are not bouyant in cash.

The officials have turned the place to a living hell and they find a means in all ways to extort student instead of making life very easy.

i will be pointing out some point thats need to be checked.

They disconnect all the socket in the camp and corp members are being forced to charge at the mami market.

Power bank goes for 100 naira and phones goes for 70 naira. You will have to charge everyday and lets say 200 naira per day for 21days thats total of 4,200.

using of the POS machine for cash withdrawal.

They do not charge the normal fee they do outside the camp.

To collect 1k is 100 naira and anything above that is 200 naira, 8k is 250 and 10k is 300.

Just imagine all this.

Most times we will have to buy water in the morning for 50 naira, when there will be no water in the tank to bath.

I thought the government make provisions for all this and i wonder why the officials are milking the people dry thru the maami market.

You can take this to the bank - Nigeria is blessed; blessed all-round. Blessed in natural and human resources.

This part of Sub-Saharan Africa called Nigeria is highly saturated and ionized with great talents and minds.
Even more, our diversity is what made us more beautiful. Diverse tribes, climate, landscapes and cultures.
The north often seen from a derogatory perspective is blessed too, with beauty, talents and great minds. No tribe is useless in Nigeria, religion blindness and illiteracy is the problem.
Nigeria is a perfect country that unfortunately fell into the wrong hands.

Our diversity isn't the problem, rather, diversity and varieties are the spice of life. The diversity we have free of charge is what America keeps seeking, accepting people from all over the world. Diversity is a blessing and not a curse, for those who have enough sense to understand, but Africans are too shallow dark-minded to know the advantages of some things they're freely blessed with.
Religion fanaticism, illiteracy, discrimination, division, tribalism and bad leaders are the problems of this great country.
It's so sad, a country blessed so much continues to waste away and all what gullible people can do is to allow sentiment and dumb blindness in siding with their wicked leaders.
Just like Martin Luther hoped for freedom and it came, I also wish freedom will come one day.
you still dey put hope for Nigeria? you must be patriotic to the marrows despite the ineptitude of our leaders God bless you for keeping faith in Nigeria

You gave Arsene Wenger more than 20 years, 20years to learn, fail, succeed & then succeed & fail.

But you think giving more time to a man who is yet to spend 2 years at your club, still struggles with his English is too much to ask?

You all don't know anything about management.

If we check your personal lives, you still fail at many things, even at your current job, you aren't perfect but you look to another person and shout crucify him, what do you seek to gain?

The gaffer needed time, he needed support, he's human too, you do not leave him at the court of public judgement for ridicule.

Does this mean no one is going to back us, at our worse days? Does it mean one bad run makes us undeserving of love?

It's really a cold world out there.

when u have a club of ur own, hire unai emery and probably give him all the time to learn.

1. The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday, admitted Abdulrasheed Maina, former Chairman, defunct Pension Reform Task Team (PRTM), to bail in the sum of N1 billion. Justice Okon Abang, who gave the ruling, also ordered that Maina must produce two sureties, who must be serving senators. The two lawmakers, according to the judge, must not be standing any criminal trial in any court in the country. 2. The Lagos State Government says it plans to restrict the movement of heavy duty trucks in the metropolis during the day so as to ease traffic on the roads. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made this known on Monday at the Lagos House, Ikeja, when a team from the Nigerian Breweries Plc paid him a courtesy visit, said that the state would soon come up with comprehensive plan and decisions on traffic management in order to resolve the gridlock. 3. The University of Ibadan chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Monday, set up a monitoring committee to ensure that none of her members enlist on the Integrated Payment and Personnel Information System. UI ASUU, which announced the committee at a well-attended congress of the union held at the Faculty of Arts of the institution, maintained her stand, citing peculiarities and university act while the Federal Government has maintained that none of her employees will be exempted for the enrollment. 4. Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) says the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will not act on the petition demanding probe of bullion vans, which entered the home of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on the eve of the 2019 presidential election. According to him, the petition was baseless and written in bad faith, saying Tinubu is rich from his own hard work, investments and should be given the benefit of the doubt instead of being subjected to persecution. 5. Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has relieved the state Head of Service (HOS), Mr Mohammed Hassan, of his appointment. Alhaji Usman Shuwa, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), who made the disclosure in a statement on Tuesday in Maiduiguri, disclosed that the governor also approved the appointment of Mr Simon Malgwi, as the new HOS, adding that the appointment was with immediate effect. 6. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has split into two, with a former governorship aspirant, Dr Umar Ardo, leading a splinter faction. Dr Umar, who addressed newsmen in the state capital, Yola, on the development on Monday, said the PDP at the state level had long been an illegality and he was leading Reformed PDP (R-PDP) out because all efforts he made to get the PDP to make amends had failed. 7. The Kogi government has accused Dino Melaye of being responsible for the violence in the state during the just concluded governorship and Senatorial election. Mohammed Onogwu, Chief Press Secretary to Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, said the Kogi government has video evidence to prove that Melaye was distributing money on the day of election. 8. The Police in Anambra State have rescued two children, Confidence Ejike ‘f’ five years old and Blessing Ejike ‘f’ seven months old. SP Haruna Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who paraded suspected members of a child stealing syndicate at the command headquarters, said the children were rescued following a tip off. 9. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday arraigned one Pastor Afolabi Samuel, at the Ikeja Special Offences Court, Lagos for allegedly stealing $90,000 and N4.5m property of the Registered Trustees of the Living Faith Church, Canaan land, Ota, Ogun State. Samuel, who was a church accountant, was brought before Justice Mojisola Dada. The EFCC prosecutor, S. O. Daji, alleged that the defendant committed the alleged offences sometime on September 24 and December 31, 2018, in Lagos, Vanguard reports. 10. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Sunday, cautioned the leadership of the Senate to resist any forms of intimidation from the Buhari Presidency to surrender its independence and pass bills and requests without statutory legislative scrutiny and oversights. The party’s position is predicated on the blanket comment credited to the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan, that any request from Buhari to the National Assembly is good for the nation, even without subjecting such requests to statutory legislative scrutiny.
