Hello ehiremen Have you been sending IRCC at least 5 emails as regards the delay of your application? You have a very good reason to get the attention of IRCC, if you can use what you have just posted here to draft a constructive and convincing email to them 5 times daily, you should get an update on your application soon. You have every right to send them multiple emails every day, make you submit proofs of your remote classes as attachments to every email you send to them... It will end in praise.. Peace ehiremen2002: |
Hello Teekay20 You have already stated the reason why you wanna defer and you are still asking the house to help you with reasons.. Please be truthful with them, Just state you do not have the required funds now, but will have enough funds in your next deferral date.. You can build on this point.. Just say the truth. Peace Teekay20: |

Hello Ekulu For proof of relationship, you will need to submit 1. His birth certificate that shows the same last name as either your Dad or Mum(before she got married to your dad). 2. If he has sponsored you academically or career-wise in the past, you will need to show receipts of these payments.. 3. Your pictures with your uncle.. E.t.c You must also draft a Letter of explanation explaining in detail each of the proof you are submitting... Peace Ekulu77: |
Hello Pearls In summary, your SOP failed you in your application, it was not convincing enough to show that you will be a genuine student in Canada. Remember Canada does not conduct an interview for applicants unlike some other countries, so it's your SOP that will speak for you to the Visa Officer, and once it is vague, then the Visa officer will refuse such application.. So work on your SOP and also have supporting documents to back up your claims. Being a 5th-time applicant, I will advise you to get professional service as regards your reapplication ... Peace Pearls001: |
Hello Teejay I am glad my response did Justice to your question of concern.. To the bolded, I am not too versatile with application for scholarship, as my strongest area is the actual application for the Canada study permit Visa itself.. But we have seen several PHD applicants here getting scholarship, so you can do a little research and read from the first page and go through the timelines of successful Phd applicants that applied with a scholarship, then you can contact any of them so they can put you through.. To your second question, that depends on you though, but I will advise you go for Canada because of the many FUTURE benefits of the country for International students... Australia, USA can also be considered... The choice is yours .. Peace Teejay13: |
Okay.. You cant obviously know the visa Officer in person , but you can know a Visa Officer handling your application by their code name through the GCMS notes.. Remember some months back there was a popular Visa officer we were discussing here that only specializes in refusing applications(cant remember the code name).. So you can actually know the Visa Officer by their code names... Peace Anon123: |
The bolded is not totally correct.. There is actually a way an applicant can know the Primary and secondary office handling his or her application.. And that is through GCMS notes... And sometimes when you send a general message to IRCC , in their response they will state that your message has been re-directed to the office handling your application and the office will be copied... But this is rare though.. But GCMS notes will def let you knw the office handling your application, so please correct that.. An applicant can know the office handling his or her aplication through GCMS notes.. Peace Anon123: |
Hello Teejay13 This depends on you and what you want.. If you wanna go for another second degree or a higher degree i.e PHD There is absolutely nothing wrong in going for another second degree as we have seen quiet a few applicants getting their Study Visa with the admission of another second degree... If you have a second degree(prolly in naija) and you wanna go for another second degree in Canada, you must have convincing reasons why you wanna go for another second degree instead of a PHD which is a higher degree... Many applicants that do not have convincing reasons for a second degree usually end up getting refused, simply cos the Visa Officer was not satisfied with the reasons the applicant gave for a second degree instead of a higher degree cos truth be told there is no Career progression in going for a degree you already have, its expected you go for a degree higher than your present degree with the exception of concrete and convincing reasons for going for the same degree you already possess... Many applicants that do not have concrete and convincing reasons for another second degree tend to hide the second degree they already have and apply with their Bsc, and we have seen countless number of these applicants getting their Visas.. So its left to you, if you know you will be able to convince the Visa officer of another second degree, then you can go ahead.. But if you know you wont be able to convince the Visa Officer of another second degree, I will either advise you go for a higher degree which is a Phd, or you hide the fact that you already have a second degree and apply with your Bsc degree... Hello Laborah You aint gonna pay another tuition after deferring, its the Tuition fee stated in your LOA that you will pay.. And to the refund, I always advise applicants to always read and understand the Refund policies of the school they apply to.. Some schools do not refund any fee paid to them, why some refund but remove $200CAD Administration fee.. So the answer to your question will be gotten from the refund policy of your school... Peace Laborah: |
Hello Horlajoseph Since you its a Medical request you have, then just go to the clinic with your request Letter and plead with them that you need to do your medicals before the deadline of Jan 10th, they should get a closer date for you... But the Jan 7th given you by the clinic is nto a bad dat though, once you do your medicals, the clinic sends the medical results to IRCC latest 2 days after the Medicals was done, which means at most by Jan 9th, your result would have gotten to IRCC, and that is before your deadline... You can also upload your E-medical sheet to IRCC on the day of your Medicals, via Webform and Email.. Peace Holarjoseph: |
Hello Softalliance There are many colleges that do not impose payment of tuition before Visa Processing, but many mandate you pay the deposit fee of 1500CAD, which is very affordable for many.. And many have gotten their Visas with paying just the deposit fee... Peace softalliance: |
You welcome olaronke06: |
Hello Timinimi One major thing you should consider in situations like this is the benefits the proposed course of study will afford you after the completion of your study, cos that is what the Visa officer is actually interested in.. That is why most people that work or do business choose courses that are related to their Job or business.. So chose the course that relates to Agriculture, and also since that is your interest, you will have more than enough reasons to convince the Visa Officer why you wanna study the course.. State how the course relates to your Agricultural business and also most importantly outline the benefits the experience of your study in Canada will afford you as it relates to your business.. For the Master's degree, since you already have a second degree, it will be an uphill task to convince the Visa officer on why you are going for another second degree, even though its not impossible as we have seen several applicants getting their Visa after an admission for a 2nd second degree... If you know you will be able to convince the Visa officer of the reason for another second degree, then go ahead and declare your 1st second degree in your application, if not apply with your Bsc.... Peace TiminimiNas: |
Hello Olaronke I have explained this countless times, it's not about having millions in your account, it's about explaining and convincing the Visa officer that these funds will truly be available for your studies and living expenses all through your stay in Canada.. And you can do this through your LOE in your next application, you will need to explain in your LOE, your source of funds backed up with evidence.. e.g Transaction receipts, invoices e.t.c Peace olaronke06: |
Hello Olumide This is not totally true though, there are many applicants on this thread who have not come to share their testimonies here, probably applicants that are in one WhatsApp group or the other.... They actually share their testimonies in their various groups and not on the thread that actually gave them so much information and also birthed their several WhatsApp groups... So we actually have more PPRs, just that some people are hoarding their Good news from this thread which I see as an ungrateful attitude... Peace Olumidestella: |
Hello McCarthyholla If your application is passed the processing time, you will need to start sending IRCC daily emails with your subject tagged urgent.. Let them know your resumption is less than 4 weeks and you need a final decision so you can start preparing yourself.... Make sure you are polite and straightforward with your message.. Peace McCarthyholla: |
You welcome... Just relax, your PPR is in the Oven, getting prepared to be served hot.. Peace HHH3: |
You Welcome Ruby22: |
Hello Nairaland You can send me a DM.. Peace nairaland1981: |
Hello TripleH Since you said you need to start spending your funds, you can go ahead and hope IRCC doesn't ask for an updated SOA.. But we always advise applicants to leave their funds untouched until they get their stamped Passport, cos IRCC can randomly ask for an updated SOA at any time, and I mean anytime even after request of Original Passport. And to your last question, yes it's normal.. Some get their Final decisions monhs after Medical is passed and some get a few weeks after, so there is no specific timeline... Peace HHH3: |
Hello Ruby Make sure you explain this in your LOE with relevant documents to back up your claims so the Visa Officer won't see the amount deposited as a lump sum.. The receipt of the transaction with the said amount on it will suffice... Peace Ruby22: |
Hello MJ1000 In addition to your post, you will need to work on your LOE explaining the benefits of your proposed course of studies... You must convince the Visa Officer of how important your proposed course is to your career, outline the benefits and opportunities your proposed course and Canadian (international) degree certificate will afford you on your return to your home country after the completion of your studies in Canada. Let the Visa Officers see the reasons why you will be spending so much on your proposed course and your studies in Canada.... Peace MJ1000: |

Hello Raymondrain 1. In as much as the closing balance is important, the transaction history i.e inflow and outflow of a statement of account is also very important... The Visa Officer also looks out for the inflow and outflow of an Account... Even though I have seen on this thread(part 16) of a self-applicant getting a Visa with a closing balance of 500k (after paying his full school fees)such cases are very rare... So this is my advice as regards this, If you are resuming next year Fall i.e September of next year, let your mum build her account for a few more months before you apply, since she gets money regularly into her account... 2. 1st year payment of fees is what is expected and you must show you have funds for your living expenses and Missileneous for a year... 3. You must submit her Statement of account and the relevant documents since she is your Co-sponsor.. Peace Raymondrain: |
Google is calling you, embrace him.. Peace Bunmmy01: |
300k for just Admission? Na wa oo.. Am sure you would have gotten many responses cos I know I came late, so lemme just keep mute.... And I can also see 100k for SOA, seems he wants to do a fake account for you... My Gad.. Truth is, you won't actually get refused if you use this agent, you will get a BAN... These agents never cease to amaze me.. ![]() Peace matthew080: |
Hello 4gunners This depends on your profile.. After paying your fees, If you are single without any dependents, 20k-25kCAD should be ideal.. If you are married with dependents, 30k- 35k should be ideal cos you will need to show that you also have funds to still take care of your dependents.. Peace 4gunners: |
Hello Thelee Your points are well noted.. Peace TheLee: |
Well said Jay.. This thread is one of the most popular travel threads on nairaland, which means different people from all over the world are on this thread... Many applicants here contact me on daily basis , and I can say 30% of them are from outside Nigeria... Some of the applicants are from Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Cyprus, Ghana, India e.t.c. Even Visa Officers( we had a case of a suspected Officer on this thread in 2018 or so)are on this thread... That is why I always advise we mind what we spit out here... Even though I am always against Whatsapp groups outside this thread, you all will notice that I haven't spoken against the groups created for the purpose of the BAN, why because I know there are some things that are meant to be kept away from the public eyes as regards legitimate alternatives to get to Canada after the issuance of Visas... And I know once the Ban is lifted, such groups will dissolve... but we will always be against any other purpose of creating a Whatsapp group outside this thread with the exception of students going to the same schools.. Peace Jay316: |
Hello Approval No, its not too early.. January is a good time to apply for Fall of next year.... And when your Visa is out, you will have more than enough time to adequately prepare before your departure... I actually have 2 of my applicants who have already applied for Visa this week for SEPTEMBER 2022 resumption. Peace Approvalissure: |
