I am really working on my SOP to give the best impression it possibly can.
However, I like being clear of safety margins. My SOP is one weapon as you rightly mentioned. But I would like to increase that POF . Normally, this will make me spend some extra months working at sea(to get salaries which would significantly increase my bank status) but you know time is another factor being considered. Working for those extra months would as well mean that I would have to look towards 2023 for my application to fully set in(I want to have my bank statement ready before applying to avoid delays on my side )
So just now, I’m thinking of gift deeds, but to be honest, I don’t know much about how it works.
Can my brother give me gift deeds? If he can, what documents do I have to get from him? How much is the max he can give ? Has gift deeds ever been grounds for refusal?

Note: I studied marine transportation from a university outside Nigeria . I have had some years of practical sea experience as an officer onboard ships .Now I intend to apply for Masters in Maritime studies in Memorial university

I have not been following your posts but the bolded caught my attention..

If the bolded is an honest statement, then you shouldn't have any problem getting your Visa, cos it's applicants like you Canada wants. Applicants that would have career prospects on their return to their home country with the experience gained while studying in Canada..

Your SOP should focus more on the very good progressive prospects you talked about. Your SOP should do the magic..

I just hope you chose a course that is related to your work experience as your proposed course of study...

Note: I am employed in a shipping company and will indicate in my SOP that I would be coming back immediately after studies to continue my work which has very good progressive prospects .

The bolded form is a very important form to fill, in fact, you will have to carefully fill the form to avoid any mistake that can be in form of any misinterpretation which can lead to a ban.. So make sure you fill the form with your full concentration and pay attention to details..

For the biometrics, you are paying together with your application fee, that is if you are a 1st-time applicant though.

If you are a returning applicant, you do not need to pay for Biometrics again for the next 10 years...

IRCC does not believe you have the required funds for your study and expenses..

They feel you sponsor is not capable to sponsor you..

You hid the figures, that would have helped for further advise to your query..

But in all work on your funds and your sponsor should work on his commitment..

How do you mean lump sum going in and out?

I think you are misunderstanding what a lump sum is, lemme break it down to you, a lump sum is a huge and unusual or unfamiliar amount paid all at once in a bank account.. For example, if an account has 100k as the highest credit amount coming in daily for months and all of a sudden an amount of 2 million drops in the account, that 2 Million is a lump sum. Why, cos the account isn't familiar with an amount of 2 Million.. Now the Visa Officer while seeing this will know that such an amount is borrowed and it won't be available for the applicant. That is why they always have issues with Lump-sum.

So for a business account, I do not think there is anything like Lump-sum coming in and out.. A Business account should have regular inflow and outflow of different "hooge" amount of money depending on the kinda business transaction the business is involved in..

Now to answer your question, if you feel there is a lump sum in your account, as a businessman, you can state in your SOP that the amount was paid by your business partner or your Customer/Client for the goods or services they bought from your business e.t.c, you can back it up with a copy of your Business invoice showing the transaction..

Bottom line, if you can convincingly explain to the Visa Officer, the reason for the lump sum, then you are good to go..

Your application is still within the processing, its not advisable to send them further repeated mails.....

Most times they received what applicants send them and do not respond, but when you order your gcms notes, you will see it there that they actually received a particular document on the date the applicant sent it...

You can as well send them a mail with the attachment of the document and after that, do not send them any mail until when your application has passed the processing time...

I wanna assume it was an agent that told you the bolded.. Similar to a statement an applicant told me that her agent told her she should not dare send a mail to any MP, that they will refuse her application with immediate effect... You can just imagine such statement..

So please go ahead with your emails..

Dunno why you all are scared of sending them mails when you know your application has passed the IRCC approved processing time...

The only time you are not expected to bug them with emails or web-forms is when your application is still within the processing time..

Nairobi handles 90% of Nigerian applications..

So its okay, even though they are not the one handling your application, they can re-direct to the office handling your application..

But I will advise you send them emails rather than Web-forms...

With my experience, emails hits the target than Web-forms..

You showed in your application that you have the required funds but they are having concerns if it will be available for your study in Canada..

Did you have a lump sum in your SOA?
Have you paid your school fees, at least the 1st year?

In the last part, you failed to convince them on why you wanna study the course you chose, they are having concerns about the reason you wanna spend so much on a course that may be available in your home country, and also why you wanna spend on a course that won't benefit you.. (You failed to explain to them in your SOP the importance of the course.)

So you will need to work on your funds, let your sponsor show commitment, and also work on your SOP and LOE...

The Visa officer will wanna see that his wife is in agreement with it.. If she signed on her name in the letter, then that should fly...

But I will advise and it will be more convincing if she writes her own letter of agreement or consent with her signature...

Is his business related to food safety and Quality?
If not, why the proposed course?

What we advise here is that if an applicant has graduated over 5 years ago, he/she should go for a course that is related to his/her work or business, but in his own case he is a recent graduate of 2019 and he has not been idle since then doing business(according to your writeup), so he can apply for a course that is related to his 1st degree which is Biochemistry or his business..

If food safety isn't related to either his 1st degree or Business, I will advise he changes the course except he has convincing reasons on why he wanna go for Food Safety and Quality... He will really need to convicne the VO in his Statement of Purpose...

A written and signed letter of consent to the use of the Joint account for the sponsorship of your studies..

Also, a letter from the bank(this may not be compulsory) to support her claim will also be helpful. Both of them are signatories to the account, so the decision can't be taken by only your brother..

We have seen several applicants here getting their Visa for Family application, so it's possible you all get your Visa but you must really convince the Visa Officer of your reasons for going as a family..

But if you ain't comfortable with this process, then either you or your Wife can go with 2 of your kids and leave 2 behind with the other spouse in Nigeria (This will serve as a Home tie).

Once the spouse that applies gets approved and arrives in Canada and gets the study Visa and SIn, then the "Canada" spouse can now apply for a spousal permit for the spouse in Nigeria and Visiting visa for the remaining 2 kids..

Choose the option you are more comfortable with..

The statements of accounts which he sent is from Bank of America and both statements have about 72kusd. But the thing is the statements are joint accounts with his wife.
