Original passport request . First time applicant with virgin passport .

Application lodged on the 12th of June 2018 with upfront medicals.
Biometrics done on the 22nd of June 2018 . And medicals updated as passed on the 7th of August 2018 and that same day my eligibility review started.
And since then , I didn't hear from the embassy . because of the delay I lost my admission and I had to reapply again as the school does not defer ... a specialised and highly competitive programme . Fortunately I was offered admission the second time and I mailed my new admission letter to the embassy and also sent an updated statement of account alongside the new admission.
Since then , I've been bombarding them with mails.
I sent mails to several MPs, about 7 responded and took up my case , including the PM and Minister for immigration , I even extended my mails to the senators and speaker of the House and also the some Assistants or top personnel in IRCC office.

I didn't stop . I kept sending mails to anyone I see as a too official in Canada because my understanding is that they can't refuse me visa cuz I'm sending several mails(i don't know who has that thought )
And just today , I got the passport request .

Thank you everyone . special thanks to Makano(this dude advised me not to withdraw my apllication just yet and told me to keep sending mails. Makano will connect me to his office internet and tell me to check nairaland visa section for updates . I will go prepare the place for you bro, I'm your John the Baptist , yours will come in no time) @frankrobbn1 , @kpizzle ,this dude called me late in the night , shared his experience and gave me reasons to keep hopes high when I was hell bent on withdrawing my application.

Am so so happy today.. Although I havnt gotten my Visa since July last year.. But guess what, 2 of my JUNE 2018 guys got their Passport request today.. First ralfudoh and just now Kishkosh called me that he just got his... Am sure he is about to share his success story.. Am so happy for you guys and am happy I am part of your success story, its doing me assif its my Visa...... So happy for my Guys... Mine is coming on the way by God's grace.. I believe.. Peace

If u applying online, u have no problem uploading any documents, so u can upload the pictures online cos I dnt think they accept pictures for paper application... And u get to submit your Original documents online, dts one good thing about Online application.. Peace

I'm applying online, so can I merge a pictures of her and me with maybe her letter of relationship, affidavit of support and letter of sponsorship with her birth certificate.

Her Birth certificate, her Intl passport before she got married and also Pictures of both of you(I doubt if they will accept this at VFS).. She can also write a letter showing her relationship with you... Peace

If its a medical request, your medicals shouldnt take more than 5 days to be updated.. But if its Upfront, it takes more than 5 days.. For instance, I did my Upfront Medicals on the 28th of March, Qlife sent it to CIC on the 31st of March and it was updated as passed on the 11th of April.. So my point is it takes less time when it is a Medical request.. Peace

I see many folks thank you on your assitance in regards their successful application. Please keep up with this good work.

Why are you in a rush to pay school fees tho, even the school is not ready to accept school fees until August, so why the rush? In case you dont know, paying of school fees does not guarantee you Study visa, as we all know, many applicants here didn't pay shishi and they got their visas and are now in Canada.. So dont be deceived, paying of school fees doesnt mean u will get ur Visa.. Also, I will advise you know the refund policy of the school, so u wont come back here lamenting that the school doesnt want to give u back ur money. So even if u wanna pay school fees, please study their refund policies to prevent Stories that touch later..
To the second question, Yes u can upload documents(necessary documents) after the submission of your application, but I will advise you wait for the embassy to request for the documents they need from you.. So please paying of school fees does not mean you will get the study permit Visa, but if you still insist on paying ur school fees, please u can go ahead.. Peace

Guys , pls, can I send embassy email correspondence BTW me and my school wherein in the said email I asked my school if I can pay school fees now and my school replying that I can not pay until the August when the fee is out.
And also , can I send another document via CSE just a week after one document has been acknowledged and added to my file .

N.B Embassy have not asked me to pay any school fee depsit to show commitment ooo.

co-op or no co-op, MASTERS OR PGD/PGC, First class graduates or 3rd class graduates, all applicants must apply the same way, irrespective of ur status.. I think its when u get to the POE, that the applicants will be asked if he/she is going for co-op course or not. .NOTE: I have not been to the POE before, so peeps with the POE experience can shed more light on this.. This is a simple thing to do... Just send ur Upfront medicals slip through Webform informing them that U have previously done ur medicals before the request came in, and they will update it to pass in days time.. U can also send them mails too.. peace.

Everything is going as expected concerning ur application, and to the boded u cant use that to determine ur own application cos I have personally seen an applicant here getting his Medical request while still on Background check, it was hours after Medical request dropped that his Eligibility review started and we all know that before Medical request ur Eligibility review must start. So my point is that you cant predict these VOs.. But all the same, ur application is on the right part, u just need to be more prayerful and hope for the best.. Good luck..

I have a quick question, I got a Biometrics Correspondence Letter this morning and I'm wondering if it's a good sign because I've only heard of people getting their biometrics correspondence letter after medical request. My eligibility status also changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".

Is this a good sign? Has anyone ever got a medical request after receiving the stipulated letter?

Hope to hear from a kind hearted fellow asap because I was really waiting for medical request considering the fact that I applied since March 13th and did my biometrics on March 15th.

Use the webform to upload ur document.. U can also send it to their official email address if you know the office handling ur application..

London was solely responsible for online application for Nigerians as at last year, but now Its now shared to 2 other offices i.e Lagos and Nairobi... These are their email addresses: For London - ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca , For Lagos - LAGOSIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca I dont know that of Nairobi cos I didnt actually care to know, beefing them at the moment.. But I will suggest u send a general webform, you will knw the particular office responsible for ur application from their response to you.. Good luck

There is no harm or cime in sending them through the webform. U just have to explain to them that u omitted these 2 important documents, after which they will receive and add them to ur file.. You can as well send it through mail to the official email address of the office handling ur application. Peace

I didn't include my tuition deposit receipt as I didn't receive it on time. Also didn't include my salary SOA. Although I have a third party sponsor. Do I send the above documents through the web form or wait for the VO to ask for it?
