You have waited for 11 months only for u to be thinking of withdrawing ur application.. Why didn't u withdraw when it was 4, 5, 6 months. Its now when they are almost giving u a reply that's when u thinking of withdrawing.. There is nothing bad in withdrawing ur application tho as it wont have any negative effect on ur application.. I have actually noticed one thing about those nitwits called VOs, they tend to reply May/June/July after 10-11 months to 1 year and 2 months, which means they will give u a reply by latest early July.. So still have patience till late June/early July, if u dnt get a reply form them (which I doubt) then u can even go ahead and burn down their office.. Ma 2 cents.. Peace

Guys , I'm thinking of withdrawing my application after a long wait since June 2018 and apply afresh.

I have sent several CSE and mails and even ordered for my GCMS note( which I didn't really see any substantial reason for the delay in it )

Will the withdrawal have any negative implication on my next application or I should just continue to keep all hopes alive .
NB , my school resumes 1st of Sept and I know we are nearing the peak period of TRV applicants .

If your uncle has the capacity to to sponsor you all through ur stay in Canada, why not? But note that you must show ur relationship with ur Uncle and convicne the VO he is very capable of taking responsibility of you financially.. Peace

Format of CV for visa? this is the first time I am seeing this tho.. Madam, there is no format for CV when applying for a study permit, in fact CV is not a compulsory document for ur study permit application, cos we have seen countless number of applicants here getting their Visa without submitting any CV.. Submit ur CV the way it is.. If you were applying for a JOB in Canada now, I know there is a particular format for writing ur CV but no format for study visa.. So please be guided.. Peace

Again, because you are a June 2018 applicant, the answer you seek is in that little text from makano that i directed you to. Do read through again carefully after the "defer admission part", pay more attention to the instruction on how to send the mails.

You don't need any English language test for Canadian Study visa application.. In fact most Canadian schools do not request for it with the exception of few.. And to ur bolded statement, no one will spoon-feed you here, so kindly go to the first page of this thread and read up till when u come across ur answers cos dis questions u just asked has been asked 1001 times.. But in some of the post I'm seeing TOEFL test score as part of documents to be submitted when applying for student visa. my question is should I write the exam or I should just continue my visa application without it.

I cant categorically say that might be the problem, as we have seen applicants here getting their TRV without submitting an SOP.. But with my observation of those Applicants, I noticed they were all 1st class graduates with exceptional result, such applicants may not necessarily write an SOP.. But I must be truthful to you SOP is very important in ur Student Visa application, so u not submitting an SOP may have contributed to ur refusal.. So I will advice you write a convincing SOP in ur next application convincing the VO that u are solely going to Canada to study, thats after u have gotten ur GCMS tho.. Peace

I will suggest as usual to request for ur GCMS note, as it implies, the reason for ur refusal was the almighty Purpose of Visit meaning you didn't really convince them that you were a genuine student that wants to study in Canada and return to ur home country.. So request for ur GCMS note and see the real reason why u were refused.. I feel for you bro cos my application is 10 months too, waiting that long to get refused can be so heartbreaking, but dont give up bro re-apply again and u will get it.. But meanwhile wanna ask some questions, Did ur Eligibility review start before the refusal? Did u do upfront medicals for ur app? will appreciate ur response.. So please follow what i have sent earlier and get back to us when ur GCMS note is ready... Peace

I finally got a response from CIC and it was a denial after 11 months of waiting. Please how can I tackle the reason below:

After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:


• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Defer ur admission to the next Resumption date and notify the school about the delay of ur Study permit.. Also send like 5 emails per day to all the Offices i.e London, Lagos, Kenya, Ghana e.t.c explaining ur predicament and make ur Subject VERY URGENT. Do it through out this week and lets see what comes out of it, also in addition send mails to the MP in charge of ur province(where ur school is located), u can google this tho. Good luck.. (Dunno which office is in charge of ur application)

But if u have been going through ma posts, I have never talked to someone sending me a message apart from posts related to the CIC Phone numbers, and the reason why I said May/June/July applicants should pm me is cos where I got the numbers, I was told its strictly for Applicants with application above 7 months thats why I dont want to make it public here cos am sure even someone that applied for the study permit yesterday will wanna call the numbers.. Its very right to do ur upfront medicals after submitting ur app.. And to the submission, the clinic will submit ur result to CIC, and u can as well upload the slip the clinic gave to you on ur medical day through the webform.. FYI the clinic wont give u ur medical result, they will only give u a slip confirming u have done ur upfront medicals.. Peace

Mr Man, SOP isnt compulsory but very necessary. We have seen peeps here getting their TRV without any SOP but that doesn't mean you not submitting an SOP will work for you.. Canadian embassy does not conduct Interviews for applicants(Except on very rare occasions) unlike USA. So its ur SOP u will use to sell ursef to the Visa Offcier, so I will advise u write an SOP and if u have been refused before, U will also need to write an LOE.. And to the Questionnaire, please dnt let me get angry with you, u said u need an already filled form to fill urs, were u serious or Joking there? Its peeps like u that use expo to write exam, so when u eventually get to Canada now, u will be looking for someone that have finished his papers in an exam hall so he can give u his answer sheet for u to write his answers... Common please stop this and do the right thing.. Ur present situation/condition is different from any other person's situation so u dnt need another person's own to write yours.. Like its being called Questionnaire, so u just have to answer those questions as it relates to you. These question was for Austacus but I just had to answer, cos anybody can answer.. Peace

U can order for ur GCMS note for $5 but u must have someone in Canada to apply for u, but u will need to sign a consent form...But if u dont have someone in Canada, there are 3rd party websites u can order ursef but they are more expensive like $20 - $30. SO its left to you... GCMS takes 20 - 30 days.. But mine took just 13 days tho, still surprised about it.. Peace

Maybe u are putting figures were u are suppose to put alphabets and vice versa .. e.g instead of O u are putting 0.. something like that, So check well and correct urself.. And if after doing this, it still persists then consult ur "doctor" (Google or Youtube).. Peace

Ok.. What kinda school wont give u admission even after paying school fees? But its possible CIC gives u an approval without requesting for a new LOA though. And if it happens u get ur visa without CIC requesting for ur new LOA, when u get to Canada, u can easily go to the school and rectify this issue.. On the other hand if u still insist u wanna withdraw ur application.. You can send an email to the office responsible for ur application with the subject "Permission to Withdraw/cancel my 10 months old application" and carefully explain all what u have written here. Ur withdrawal mail may force them to approve ur application (thats if u have passed the Eligibility stage tho)u can never tell... Also send a mail to a MP in the province where ur school is located, and lastly, I will advice u order ur GCMS note to see if your Eligibility review has been passed, if it has not been passed, then u can withdraw ur application. If I may ask, Whats the name of the school?

Reason I want to cancel is that my school refuse to offer me an admission for 2019 fall. I currently do not have any new admission letter as the one of 2018 has elapsed. I paid part of my tuition fee and for me to get a refund my school demands a refusal evidence from CIC. I want to apply for a UK university and I need the tuition fee to pay for my UK school

Why do u wanna withdraw ur application after waiting for 10 months, Y did u just decide u wanna withdraw ur application on the 10th month.. Have u ever thought maybe this action u wanna take is actually to withdraw ur approval? According to my personal observation of the May/June/July applicants that applied and waited for over 8 months, 90% of their applications have been approvals... And this observation has been the one keeping me going. (My application will be 10 months next month) cos I know my application will be approved and I can not think of withdrawing my approval.. If ur Eligibility review is over 5 months and you have done ur medicals and passed, I will advice u have a little bit of patience.. We have seen on this part of someone that got his visa after 11 months and in the case of Abiodunne of part 13 that got his approval after 1 year 4 months or so.. I will advise you have a little bit of patience and do not withdraw ur approval or let anybody push u to take that action.. The best you can do is to disturb them with consistent mails until they reply you. Thats my little advise for you, but if u still insist of cancelling ur application, all well and good.. But as for me I will wait for my approval.. Good luck.

I am so so grateful to God, don't even know where to start from. My approval is a miracle o. I never knew about this forum until 3 weeks after applying, whoops!! And when I started reading posts here I was so scared that I messed up my application, because I felt my documents I submitted wasn't complete, like affidavits of sponsor, certificates, and what made me scared the most was my sponsor..I used a third party sponsor, I don't even know the person, he just allowed me to use his SOA (but he was a kind man tho. I approached him that day and gave Me his SOA the next day) and my parent weren't financially buoyant at all.. I just used what I saw on Google and CIC website to apply o.
So when I started reading post here about the nairobi guys, home ties, third party sponsor...I was so damn scared , I lot hope already, I was just waiting for a refusal sef so I can reapply better and in peace, because the tension ehh no be here o.
A big thank you to @ Qudkom @ makano for your advice. @Dmerciful my personal VO ,i worried him as if he was the VO handling my application o..lol, he advised me to send another SOA (mine and my elder brother)via web form and mail to them even after getting biometric correspondence mail. thanks for your support and prayers only God can repay you.
Above all i thank God almighty for his favour and grace. I fasted and prayed earnestly, and God almighty manifested .

Or is it that no VO has started working on ur application? Cos if they have started, you should see the note of the VO presently working on ur application.. Ur GCMS is kinda strange tho... The text I can see here is the mail u sent them concerning ur application.. Please look through the whole 41 pages, u should see the text of the VO... Peace

U didnt answer ma 1st question tho... and also a GCMS note has so many pages, I guess over 50 pages or so..The note of the VO is always at the last 5 pages... So go the last 5 pages, especially the last 2 pages and screenshot what the VO is saying about ur application.... There must be something there... Peace

1. Study approval with pay from govt higher institution
2. Bond agreement with sureties
3. Personal SOA- 6m
4. Valuation on a land - 5m
5. Landed property 2
6. Tuition and other expenses 9,800 per annual
7. Deposited 3,000(2k just paid)
8. Included marriage and kids cert
9. Letter of introduction of wife place of work
10. Have two sponsor, with one sent his SOA have inflow and outflow over 100m but balance as of the time of application 7m and affidavit
11. Other sponsor transfer 1m to my account making my balance increase.(less than 1wk the cash transferred)
12. This 2nd application, first was in 2017 but 90% what I submitted now wasn't there then.
13. Have travel experience

Bro, I requested for gcms got it 2nd wrk of March no comment on it.
