Yes it’s my 1st application. Online Application *Submission of Application - 12th February *Biometric request - 13th February *Upfront Medicals - 20th February * Biometrics - 21st February * Medical request - 7th March (I already submitted my application before going for medicals which delayed the process a bit) I advice all documents be submitted at once or better still, wait until it’s requested. * Medical Passed - 19th March *Validity of biometrics - 22nd March *Application approval - 24th March

I will advise u renew ur passport when this month ends(U can renew ur passport 6 months to the expiring date) to avoid unnecessary wahala later on.. TRV isnt runing away.. So renew ur passport first and then apply for ur TRV. Peace ALT2: Hello house, My international passport will expire in October, hope I can still use it to apply for study permit and submit the renewed one later.
Or do I need to renew it first? |

Congrats bro.. And to the SOP, I wanna assume this is ur 1st application.. Cos if someone is applying for the 2nd or 3rd time, he/she needs to write an SOP/LOE.. And please can u post ur application timeline/details.. Peace 2roodi: Hi good morning, I just wanted to appreciate you for this, it really helped. My TRV has been approved!!!! The most alarming part is I didn’t write an SOP, so I panicked when people kept talking about theirs. God is Awesome. |

A big Amen to the bolded. Thanks bro, I really appreciate ur prayers, cant wait to also share my own Testimony the way you have shared yours.. I know God will do it, am positive.. Thanks once again bro, go make us proud in canny and also clear road for us, cos we go show soon.. Peace dedecoder: Aptly said. Thanks @Makano. I pray your expectation regarding the TRV will turn into manifestation soon. Everything that might be responsible for the delay is hereby removed. In this month we're about to enter into, you will hear a positive update. I don't know how it will happen but i'm believing God on your behalf. Like you'll always say, I repeat it to you PEACE. Amen! |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by makano: 2:33pm On Mar 24, 2019 |
Congrats bro. And thanks for pointing out the bolded cos I remembered someone arguing with me some months back that anything more than 2 pages of SOP will turn the VO off.. That they dont like too much stories saying it bores them.. So am happy u just pointed that out. For those about to apply, make sure you write all what to convince the VO that u are really a genuine student that is going to Canada to study, even if ur explanation will take 20 pages, write and submit it. It does and wont affect ur application in any way.. Peace dedecoder: Thanks! Well, It's God. I submitted almost the same set of documents as first with JUST the addition of a Letter of Explanation. 7-page SOP; 5-Page LOE, all making 12 pages.
I'm intentionally giving the number of pages I wrote to make a point which is: the number of pages is not the first thing to think about while writing visa SOP/LOE but whether you have successfully explained all grey areas or not and whether what you are writing makes sense or not.
But then, you don't have to follow my example in your write-up. As an author, I just felt embarrassed to be told "I am not satisfied that you will... Based on the purpose of your visit." So, I spent about two weeks crafting the response. |

I wont say it is too late applying for ur Visa for May intake, but I will advise you defer to September or January.. Reason is cos if you have been following the thread you will notice peeps here that have applied since last year are still awaiting their visa, but that doesn t mean yours will be delayed like that tho. But my candid advise is for you to defer ur admission to September so that when u eventually get ur Visa, you can still have ample time to prepare yourself before traveling, which can be very difficult when resuming for May. Peace SugaRush: Thanks. I appreciate your comment!
I have another question. I just got my offer letter and my program starts on May 6 2019. Can I still apply for a study permit now or it is too late?
Do you advise that I get admission for September intake and apply for visa? |

Not so correct for this thread tho, it just happens to few.. We have several monikers here deferring their admission 2 to 3 times just cos their TRV isnt issued before the start of their supposed program. And please note so many things have changed between past threads and this thread.. Things were better then than now Qudkom: I did a little research and judging by trv approvals in the previous threads, I found out trv's are usually approved 2-3months before program starts. So for the early birds little patience will be required I suppose |

U are lucky tho, I called them January and I was given April.. Urs is just 2 months.. If you can have patience for over 7 months for ur TRV, then waiting for this shouldnt be a problem.. And if ur medical request comes before then, u would def do it before ur appointment date of may.. Cos they give priority to applicants with Medical Request.. 042viber12: Nawa for Qlife... which one is May.. |

Godatwork23: Approval Alert Submitted app 30th December Medical Request 23rd February Medical passed 11th March PPR and Correspondence letter 19 March
Sent them a CSE yesterday and early this morning i got the mail. See, there was a moniker here that said it's luck and there's no God after getting his PPR. I don't know where he is now but I want him to know it's not luck. There's an Almighty God, a living God. He answers prayers. Thank you so much Frankrobben, God go do your own. And to all TRV hopefuls, God will answer everyone. There's something I used to do since I got my scholarship, any aeroplane I see, i always decree and declare that I will be in such a plane a month to my resumption . That was my method of faith for over a year now. Glory to God Almighty once more. |

Meanwhile have you dropped ur details and timelines for ur application, if not please kindly drop ur details as the custom of this thread, so that awaiting applicants can be encouraged of a positive response to their application and also it can be used as a guide for the newbies... Woow, refusal after passing Medical requested by the embassy? Its well To answer ur questions: 1. No u wont need to do another biometrics for the next 10 years 2. Ur medical is valid for 1 year, meaning it still remaining 2 months. So I will advise u put up a tight re-application before May 2019. If I may ask, why was ur visa refused, when were you refused and for how long was ur application before it got refused? resumepro: Greetings to everyone, Thanks so much for your prompt responses.
I have issues here.
In my first application, I did Biometric and I was also called for medicals in June which i did and I passes it.. was eventually refused visa on the long run. Here is my Question, I'm ready to re-apply now and i want to know: - will i do Biometric again (my first biometric was done less than a year ago) - will i also do another medical ( my last medical was done less than 10 months ago)
Please i need answers to these two as i need to start my Online application today. Please help!!! |

1. If u love ur Original Documents and still wanna have them with you, do not submit them. After submitting those documents, you wont have access to them again cos the embassy does not return documents either ur application is refused or approved, so u need to submit photocopies of ur documents. The only original documents you should submit are documents addressed to the embassy i.e SOA, Reference letter from ur Company. e.tc. 2. Use ilovepdf.com to compress ur files.. Tested and trusted. But if I may ask, while SOA of 5 banks, isn't that too much? Oyalfares: Good afternoon fellow members of this forum. I do need your help in answering the following questions. 1) Does one need to submit original documents (i.e employment letter, properties and so on) for paper applications? 2) For some one going through online route how can SOA of 5 banks of 280 pages altogether and scanned files of certificates, properties and so on be attached. I've tried to compressing but still exceeds 4mb. |

Welcome back Guru wealth, nice to have you back. And congrats to you and ur family. I have actually made a post like this earlier. So this just confirms we MAY/JUNE/ JULY applicants still expecting are def gonna be approved by God's grace.. Congrats once again wealth360: Hello Everyone. I came back here to encourage someone especially May/June/July 2018 applicants. I'm of the opinion that all these applicants should have patient with the London Visa Office provided your application is confirmed to be treated there.
My reasons; I also submitted SOWP and TRV application for my wife and daughter respectively on the 15th of May, 2018 precisely. Because I'm here in Canada, I was able to use 2 MP's office to make enquiries for our application after 7 months of no update nor replies from CIC both in Lagos and London. Applied for 2 GCMS note in October and December last year and no updates of any sort on the note except many emails and enquiries sent to them.
Our Findings: London Visa office is overwhelmed with so much applications especially from Nigerian, because as @ 2018 Jan - July thereabout, most of the online route application were all transmitted to London office, coupled with PR applications, study permits, visitor visa and many other things Dont be surprise, This was the information given to us after 9 months in Feb 2019. Many applications from last year are still on queue for eligibility review either primary or secondary review.
My Message: Last week after 10 months of waiting, we got PPr for my wife and Daughter. a friend also got SP approved after 10 months. so, TRV hopeful as the name sound so you should be. please if London have not updated you, I bet you it will be approval. if they are gonna deny you, it will have happened before now.
Just to encourage you guys from last year MAY/JUNE/JULY 2018.
A big thanks to Frankrobbn1. God bless you bro. |

Lemme just chip in this to all MAY/JUNE/JULY 2018 Canadian study permit applicants here that are yet to get a reply form CIC. One of the reasons I havn't gotten Mad or worried about this long wait from CIC (I have applied since July 2018) is cos I have this positive opinion that My Visa will be approved, why do I say this? I have actually though to masef(This thought has been keeping me going) that If truly this people wanna refuse me, they would have refused me since. So its possible they are taking their time to knack me better TRV. My Eligibility review started exactly a month after I applied precisely August 2018 and since then CIC has kept mute on my Application, I have stopped sending them mails since December last year cos all the mails I have been sending have given me the same generic response, So i concluded that this mail don't really mean anything cos what will be will be. If you all have noticed, I havnt posted in 3 days on this thread. I have been reading posts on Part 13 and 14,trust me those parts are more interesting than this our part 15 cos there were so many approvals. While reading part 14, I came across a moniker called Abiodunne that got his TRV after 1 year and some months of his application and I said to myself, mine is just 8 months take a chill bro, urs can even be approved before that of Abiodune. As we have all noticed here, most of the June/ July applicants that got a response late from CIC actually got their Visas(I think only 2 got refused)So my advice to the May/June/July Applicants is that your TRV will be approved, they are just taking their time to give u ur Visa. So be positive and do not get worried cos ur Visa is on its way soon.. It shall surely end in praise. Peace. |

You can imagine... Yeah, everyone is busy but nobody in this world can tell me he or she is busy 24/7, its not possible. I am also very busy here in Nigeria, cos my work is so demanding(Am a Software developer) but in my free time I still find time to read and help with solutions to some issues here that I can be of help.. So ma point is that no matter how any person can be busy, if he or she really wanna help, he will find time to help.. Am sure you are also a busy person in Canada, but I see ur posts more often here.. I cant imagine myself getting to Canada and not help on this thread cos I know most of what I know are gotten from this thread and my personal research, so I will def wanna give back. So busy isn't an excuse for me tho, they just dont wanna help.. Period. Naijaforeigner: lol, I dey tell you. I posted something about having issues with my study permit on this forum in January, you wont believe about 3 people already in Canada on this forum contacted me via mail to tell me they have similar issues, asking me how did I sort it out and I am like why did you not say it here so that others coming to Canada can learn and avoid it?
If there is any information that can help people before you leave Nigeria and when you get to Canada, drop it here as you cannot tell who you would be helping with such information. Jobs, accommodation, studies, just drop it here.
Everyone is busy, Education in Canada is demanding, i hardly respond to mails because i have a lot to do but we can always drop helpful information openly once in a while and move on. |
