U not the only June/July applicant here so calm down... Would ask u some questions.. 1. Whats the present status of ur application. 2. Have u been called for Medicals or have u done upfront medicals and passed it.. 3. Have u sent them several mails? The truth is that London office is responsible for 90% of May/June and July applicants (We all do not know the reason for the delays) but one thing is certain, all these Delays will eventually end in praise, so be positive... I applied for GCMS note and it seems the issue is with my eligibility which is yet to be decided, my application has taken 10 months already and am confused as to what to do. And London visa office is the one handling my student visa application. Please i just need urgent assistance/opinions on what and how to go about this

Wow. This is pathetic! Early April? And this is October. Heartless people. If I may ask, when did you do your Biometrics? Were you ever asked to come for Biometrics again? Have you been called for medicals? When did your eligibility review start? Do you have anything (maybe travel history) that could have made background check so long? Pls share your profile, order for GCMS. It will tell you why it's taking forever!

With ur details, Ur application is not ripe enough for u to start sending them mails.. The current processing time for Nigeria is 10 Weeks and ur application is less than 10 weeks, which means u cant send them mails, and if you do dey wont reply you cos its stated on their website that if your application isless than the processing time of ur country, u wont get any reply.. So the only option is to be patient and hope for the best.. Once ur application has passed 10 weeks the u can start sending them mails.. Peace

Ok good.. You never mentioned u had already sent the MP a message. since u have done that, u have to wait for a response from CIC.. If you dont get a response from the MP in like a week, you can send a reminder mail to the MP.. Goodluck

If you plan to stay for more than 6 months

You need a medical exam if you meet any of these criteria:

You lived in one or more of these countries or territories for at least 6 months in a row within the last year

As I said in the past one year I have spent more than 6months in a country that is not considered as destignated.


As of sending them more mails. I will wait a bit till the MP comes with a respond. They respect their MP than me bombarding them mails.

The MPs has a special way in communicating with all the immigration office all over the world. They talk directly to their office via phone and direct email to their supervisors.

Since u applied from Nigeria, then u will have to do ur medicals in Nigeria.. I would have advised you go for an upfront medicals but I dont know when u will be resuming.. If its May, then its impossible to do ur Upfront... So u just have to wait for CIC to request for ur Medicals... But like I said in ma earlier post, disturb them with emails both through Webform and also to their official emails.. And put ur Subject as Urgent.. Good luck

I have attached the last two pages, I only have 5 Notes. And as I said i got a gcms with 207 pages these included all the application I have made since 2016.

The latest gcms not was 14th November 2018

For the medical, If I still have to get it done would that be from US or I have to come back to Nigeria for that.

If you applied from Nigeria, then u need to do ur medicals.. And to ur GCMS note share the last 2 pages or so, that's where u will see what the VO is saying bout ur application... U don't need to share the whole pages, just go to the last 2-5 pages of ur note, u will see what u looking for there and share.. Meanwhile I can see 2016 in dis ur note, I am talking about ur GCMS note for this ur current Application and not ur refused applciation.. Peace

I have shared the zcms before and nothing was there. I have like 207 pages

Did you apply from the US, if yes, I dont think u need to do medicals if u have a permit there... And to the bolded, u cant just say nthing there.. Share ur gcms note, so peeps can see whats really with ur case and advise you accordingly.. Peace

My application was online route. And this was the 4th application after 3 rejects. Would they need medical from me as I have been out of the destignated country. Been in US studying in community college since January, making me out of destignated country for more than 6 months.

When did u apply and have u been called for Medicals, is it an online applicaton or paper, If its an online application, whats the status of ur aplication? If ur application is beyond the official processing time, then I will advise you start sending them messages through the webform... And if you don't receive any feedback from them in like a week, then u can start sendng them messages to their respective email addresses... And when sending them the messages, stress the fact that ur school would resume soon, also let ur Subject be URGENT.. GOOD LUCK..

I dont have answers to ur questions tho (Am a July 2018 applicant) but I have an advise for you, and the advise is that u will need to have a "long bit" of patience and have a thick skin in this canada visa tingy, so u wont give ursef High BP.. U are still a baby applicant, so just chill... Urs (FEB AND MARCH APPLICANTS) may not be like Ours (MAY/JUNE/JULY 2018 applicants) so Its possible u get ur medical request dis month tho, so dont get me wrong.. But I will advise u must have PATIENCE in this Canadian race.. Peace

1. Its not compulsory to submit ur O'levels since u are going for PHD, ur Masters Certificate will do.. Birth certificate is necessary but not compulsory.
2. Yes u can upload omitted through the webform..

You can apply for ur student visa by simply going to the first page of this thread, read up all the pages from page 1 to this present page coupled with ur personal research on google and the canadian website https://www.canada.ca. After which u can come back here and ask questions if u are not still clear about somethings.. Nobody will teach u ABC here, u need to work on ur self by reading relevant infos.. We do stuffs by ourselves here because we read and got relevant infos so I will advise u do same... So please nobody should come here and ask questions like this unless I will come for you big time.. Just call them you have gotten ur medical request, they should give u next week.. They take Medical request with top priority.. U dont even need to mention u had an upfront medicals apointment except the day they will give u will be after the upfront medical date.. My opinion tho.. But am sure they will give u a very closer day than the upfront... Peace

MEDICAL PASSED... I know this does not guarantee an Approval tho, but its the first update I have gotten since August 2018 that my Eligibility Review started, so its something.. Hopeful for the almighty Passport Request.. Peace

First let me start by saying Travel history isnt a problem at all, what u should tackle is the other reasons that were ticked on ur refusal letter, probably Purpose of visit... Even if u travel to 20 countries before u re-apply and you don't tackle purpose of visit, home ties or any other reason, You will be refused again... We have seen countless number of people on this thread getting their visa without even leaving lagos to another state not to talk of traveling out... My advise to you is for u to order for ur GCMS note, know the real reason why u were refused, tackle those reasons and when u re-apply and u meet their requirements, u will just see that Travel history will just disappear without traveling any where and you will get ur visa.. Travel history isn't a problem at all.. The only reason travel history can be a problem is when u had traveled before and u overstayed there or u have any offense in that foreign country.. But if u havnt traveled at all, my brother its very possible u get ur visa without leaving the shores of this country... Peace

my upfront medical has just been updated to pass. submitted online application on the 10th of March, 2019. Biometrics done on the 12th of March 2019.

hmmmm, 11 weeks? Guess the number of applicants in Nigeria have reduced or there are more hands at the Canadian embassy cos the number of weeks have fallen drastically...
