Mr Man, if you do not know what to say, just keep mute please and stop misleading people. You are not a VO, so what gives you the right to say its difficult for college applicants to get Visa. Or is it written on the Canadian site that " College Applicants will find it difficult to get Visa". Like I always say, the fastest TRV Approval(that applied in Nigeria) I have seen on this thread (Part 12 or 13) was a PGD applicant, he got his TRV in 20 days. So dont come here and start misleading people that its difficult to get Visa with College application. The same way PGD applicants get refused is the same way Masters Applicant get refused. The most important thing to do as an applicant is to package ur application well(Coupled with prayers) with a convincing SOP and submit all required documents. So please do not discourage the PGD/PGC applciants here, cos thees people still get their TRV approved well just as Masters applicants. Peace
jandj:
No 1) why college? Why not a university? I will tell u d truth bro.. study permit is getting difficult day by day for college applicants. Although admission might be easier than a university, study permit is harder to get for a college applicant than a university applicant.

No 2) if you are taking your wife along, pls let the money for your tuition + your upkeep-10000 cad + her upkeep- 10000cad be in your account. The VO will know by this that you have access to the fund.

They do not accept pictures at VFS as at early this year, I dont knw about now. Anybody that submitted of recent can give update to this. But u can submit any document Via Online route, no restriction. You will just have to compress ur documents to 4mb. Peace
Bdaalman:
Good evening everyone... I have been a silent reader. I am about to apply via paper route. I am married with a kid. Asides my marriage certificate can I include pictures of my wedding, my family(me, wife and daughter) pictures to further prove home tie?

Na so dem dey do.. When they have issues they run here, but when everything is going well, they ignore the house that helped and guided them to get their Visa. There is God.
canadabyfire:
Guy share your timeline...............when you got delayed last year you came back to the house for guidance...........it got approved and silent you became...............if you had gotten ur passport back you surely wouldnt have come back to the house for further info............."law of give and take" still persist

Madam, you have asked ur question in the right thread as seen in the screenshot, why coming here to ask this same question tho? This thread is strictly for Study Permit and not Express Entry. Also someone has answered ur question in the Express Entry thread, Dunno why u still asking same question on a wrong thread. Any question related to Express entry should be asked there, and any question related to Study Permit should be asked here. Peace.
Bola2202:
Hello,
I will like to know how to go about my express entry application. I am currently separated from my husband but we haven't gone to court to nullify the marriage and I don't think that will be possible before I start my process. I want to apply as separated while claiming I have a daughter as my dependent. Hope that would not mean misrepresentation or is there any other way to go about it?

Yes na. But make sure you are using a colored printer tho, if you are printing statement of account and other Documents relating to the sponsor cos they need to be in their original form(Colored form not black and white).
mightyola:
What am saying is what if the sponsor sent you scanned copies of all the documents, I can print that out and submit right!!

Please dont be lazy, and go read from the 1st page of this thread. Ur answer awaits you there cos this question has been asked 10,000 times. Good luck

First step to take is for you to make Google ur best friend for recommendation of Uni , after which you will read up this thread from Part 1 till now(We are on Part 14 now) to know how to go about ur Visa Apllication. I bet it with you after doing this you would have come across ur answers on several Occasions.. Good luck.
Chizzyozi:
Hello, good afternoon. I am new on this thread and I have a lot of questions. First, I would like to do my MSC in Canada after my service year by march and I would like some recommended uni, the total cost of tuition fee and living expenses and also how to go about my application. Thank you

This is the reason why peeps refuse to read up the thread for already answered questions. Its answers like this that make newbies too lazy to research and get their answers from previous pages or even google, thats y they can just come here drop a question and be expecting answer asap.. Lets all give answers to complicated questions and not primary school questions like d one u just answered. @Justwise already put up how to order for ur GCMS note in the 1st page, if the person that asked that question isnt too lazy to read, he would have gotten his answer from the 1st page. Lets not give room for things like this please. Peace
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by makano: 2:31pm On Sep 20, 2018
Mr hotcake, its obvious u didnt bother to read up this thread from the 1st page cos this question has been asked 1001 times. So kindly read from the beginning of this thread. Ur answer actually lies in the 1st page. Please dont comma ask questions like dis next time. The question u are permitted to ask here are questions that havnt been answered before on this thread or the ones u didnt get a convincing answer. What we wanna be seeing on this thread are approval testimonies and not a question that google can easily give u the details. Peace
hotcakept2:
Good day people!

How can one order for Gmcs notes and how much does it cost?
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by makano: 2:13pm On Sep 20, 2018
Go and quickly submit ur passport so they can quickly give u ur Study Visa. And when u quickly get ur Visa, quickly come back to this thread and share the Testimony and also qucikly share ur application profile. i.e What Route, documents submitted, PGD or Masters, date of submission, date of Eligibility review, date of Passport request and finally date ur TRV was issued. Please do not quickly run away from this thread after u have gotten ur TRV. Congrats in advance.
Diijah:
I applied for a study visa in May and I got a request to submit my passport to VFS. Does that mean I’m getting the visa? I’m a little nervous cause I don’t know if they can request for my passport to put a refusal stamp.

Please the approved applicants should display their full profile. Documents submitted, PGD OR MASTERS, Online or paper route, Did you pay school fees before application or not e.t.c. It has been noticed that no one outta the approved applicants have done this. Please none of you should be like Mrs Daniels. Kindly do the needful. Congrats to you all, once again. smiley

Ma Broda e tire me oo.. Seeing peeps here not ready to read up for info really makes me sick.. If everybody is like dis newbies then nobody will be knowledgable to answer questions asked here na... Any silly question asked here again, I will personally attend to the person. Maybe when I make 1 or 2 scape goats, then peeps will learn to read from scratch or make google their friend. Peeps havn't gotten response from CIC for over 3 months and someone is coming here to ask silly questions.. Ma bro abeg no vex say I write this story book quoting you... Maybe we have to give dis newbies orientation.
ralfudoh:
Seriously it baffles me. Everyone wants to study in Canada, but is not willing to even undertake the slightest of tasks. How then do you intend to survive the rigorous educational task you want to undertake. Make google your friend. Read! Read!! Read!!! Then you can come and ask questions. Very soon, someone will ask on this thread how to acquire an international passport? Or where is the international airport in Lagos located? Does one need to finish secondary school before applying to a university?
Right now there is tension here. People have been waiting for 10+ weeks. This is not time to be asking questions that Google can answer. Or simply read from page one of part 14. You will gather enough information. Open a note pad and be copying and pasting what is important to you.

@makano your savagery doesn't have part 2

1. Leave ur House
2. If you are driving, drive straight to Lekki, Ikate roundabout. Get down from ur Car and enter VFS and take a ticket number, sit down and wait for ur number to be announced. When it is announced, go straight to the counter called against ur number and Submit.

And if you are not driving, Take a bus going to Obalende, after which u take a bus going to Lekki, Ikate round about and follow the procedures above. Meanwhile make sure you get an appointment, before leaving ur house, so u wont go there twice or thrice.

I have taken pain to explain, If any newbie ask questions like this next time, I will personally flog you. angry angry Advice to the newbies, Read all through this thread and u will see that the answers to ur supposed Questions are already there. Peace
zeriod:
Please how do I go about submitting paper application?

Questions like this makes me sick.. If you had taken ur time to read through this part 14(at least) from page 1, you wont be asking this kinda question, u dont just wake up, come online and ask questions like dis. Learn to read from scratch so u will be equipped with information. And for ur Info, TRV isnt a document that u print. Google TRV for better understanding. Gosh

Yes its compulsory. Canada does not do physical interview like the US and German embassies. So your SOP is what will represent you in front of the Canadian Visa Officers. Although very few peeps have gotten their TRV without SOP tho, actually one person on this thread. Am sure you dont wanna take that risk. But if you are a Strong first class graduate, lets say 4.98CGPA, then u can take the risk of not submitting SOP. Goodluck

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by makano: 9:28pm On Sep 14, 2018
1. Its difficult to get admission for a master's program with a 2:2 in Canadian Universities, so what peeps in ur shoe do is to apply for PGD, and if they wish to further, they go on to Masters. Except u finished strong in ur last 2 semesters, then some schools can consider you.

2. Google will be ur friend here.

3. Not at all. in fact people that have peeps in Canada, it will be difficult to convince the VO that u will be coming back to Nigeria when u actually have someone in Canada u can stay with permanently. So its actually an advantage kindof not to have someone in Canada.

4. Hmmmm. Am foreseeing financial issue, family Ties, Personal assets in this.. You really need a strong SOP with relevant documents to convince the VO so u wont be refused for the reasons i just mentioned. Cos most times sponsorship from either parents works well than a third party sponsor. Other gurus can shed more light on this tho.

5. I do not think application for that period will be on now, cos that of May 2019 isnt on yet. You can start applying probably by end of this year or early next year for September intake.

I hope this helps. I will advise you read up from page 1 of this part 14(if you are too lazy to read from part 1). After reading previous thread, I bet you will have all ur answers to ur questions andn questions in future in details. Peace
Nedu20:
Hello everyone. This is my first time of posting and I ve going through some of the threads for a while now.

My sister introduced me to the thread so I can get info about study in Canada.

So, please, I hope someone can help me ans some few questions.

1. I graduated from Banking and finance with a 2.2 result, would I need to go through PGD before masters?

2. I want to do my masters in economics or business administration, so, any suggestions on schools with low tuition fee that offer any of the above.

3. As I don't have anyone in Canada, would that be an issue?

4. I have been reading about visa refusal based on intent to leave Canada after study because the person did not give enough reason that they'd leave Canada after the study. I am the 5th child, the only landed property we have is in village (which I don't know if it has official documents), my parents are tenant the place they are staying at Anambra state and my sister that will be my sponsor is based in UK, how would I convince them that I would be back to Nigeria after the study without backing it up with tangible documents (landed or property)?

5. For the school that'd resume September 2019, when would I start applying?

I hope someone reply please.

Thanks

Yea, I made that statement which is very true, but still there are people on this thread who have applied since may and havnt gotten response.. I still saw someone complaining some days back on this forum of he/she not getting updates despite applying since May/June. The House is tensed, But it shall end in praise las las.. Peace
MeinKampf:
This kind of conclusion is hasty. You saw clearly in what you attached where it's explicitly stated that it can only affect applications made within Canada. Abi Nigerian applications fall within ones made inside Canada? Nothing concern a Nigerian with Canada post.
I'm surprised you still believe the bolded when you have said on numerous occasion that people have been getting decisions but haven't been coming out with it.
We are all tensed, but we should avoid speculations.
