Very Possible. But you will need to explain why u changed school in ur next application tho, cos they already have(the database of ur previous application) details and records of ur previous application. So they will definitely knw changes made. SO they wont see you changing school as being desperate. So u need to explain and convince them why the change of school. Good luck Tevs: Hello everyone, I came across this forum late I was denied a study permit in July. I plan on changing my university. Please is it possible to apply for another study permit with a different school acceptance letter? |

Non-payment of tuition is not a criteria for refusing Visa. As we have seen so many applicants here getting their Visa without paying a dime. But the choice is Urs tho. But it is very possible getting ur Visa without paying for school fees. All what the VO need is for you to convince him or her that you will be coming back to ur country after ur studies. Good luck muizzzz: Good evening Team,
Please can application be refused/ denied as a result of non payment of tuition deposit. Though no specific time was given for payment.
Can one proceed with the application and pay the tuition deposit later. |

Not compulsory. She can go ahead with her application even without paying the said amount, since the deadline is still 8 months away. The only time situations like this can affect ur application is when the VO starts working on the application after the payment deadline(Cos VOs also look out for this), but so far the VO starts working on the application within the stipulated time, then u are good to go. But if she has the money, then its her decision to pay or not. But please if she wanna pay let her check the refund policy of the school to avoid stories that touch in the future. Good luck noobie: Hi guys, my sister got an acceptance letter for fall 2019 at Durham College, one of the conditions for acceptance stated on the letter is a partial fee payment of $9763.64 must be received by the college by June 15, 2019 to secure her seat. She's gonna apply to CIC next month, since the expiry is still 8 months away is it compulsory she pay the money before application? will it in anyway affect her application? Jnyuwa02 frankrobbn1 |

Sorry about your TRV refusal. This VOs can be so unpredictable. Buh like you have said, give it another shot you will get it this time. Also please, did they reply you today? Wanna be sure if they work on weekends. joe10: Good day to the Gurus in the house and distinguished Nairalanders.
My Study permit application was refused for the second time. I was initially refused in London on the ground of purpose of visit. I put up a strong SOP to convince the VO why I would return to Nigeria after my studies. Provided evidence of personal investments, bequeathed building from my late Father, included my admission letter which stated that payment of school fee can only be done after receiving study permit and other strong points which I did not include in my first application, but after notifying IRCC of changes in my status that my wife put to bed and stated that I have made adequate provisions for their up keep I was slapped with a refusal by nairobi in two hours after sending the message. This time nairobi stated four reasons for refusal even though I took my time to prepare a very strong SOP. I do not know whether I did wrong by informing IRCC of changes in status cos I know it is mandatory to reveal such changes to IRCC so as to update your profile. I AM NOT GIVING UP YET. |

Madam take am easy na, U read from Part 1 to part 14 and no one spoke on what medicals entails? Thats a fat Lie. If u read frm late last month till now(just on this part 14), I can say of two instances where It was mentioned. Just ask ur question in peace, u dnt need to lie u read from part 1 to 14, do you even know what that means, each part has 500+ pages thats = 500 x 13 (excluding part 14) = 6500pages. So u read 6500 pages.. Dis is funny seriously.. MsChidi: Hi guys. I am new to this forum. You guys are doing a great job. I am currently in the process of getting my TRV, I applied for an MBA at the University of Toronto, and I got a message from the VO requesting for me to do my medicals. What I noticed from reading this thread from part 1 to 14 is that no one spoke on what the medicals entail.
Pls can someone be kind enough to tell me what the VO is checking for in the medicals that may make him/her grant a visa or not? is there a certain disease an applicant have that might hinder his/her getting a TRV.
Awaiting your reply |

If ur Visa hasn't been issued before ur school resumption, it doesn't mean ur Visa application will be canceled. Resumption of the school doesn't have anything to do with with ur visa. If ur Visa hasn't been granted before ur school resumption ND Ur application is likely to be approved,a message will be sent to you to provide a new admission letter which means u have to defer your admission. After which your Visa will be issued. Goodk Ageorgia: Please after I receivd details about my biometrics on my online status, I haven't heard from the embassy till now, I did my biometrics on the 10th of June I was expecting they should have asked me to bring my passport by now, the school which I applied for would be starting 1st September, I don't know what to do.if the school resumes, will my application still be in progress or they would cancel it because the school started? I want to know please if resumption of school can stop my Visa processing. I would appreciate it you guys help and advise me

Thank God I voiced out oo.. If not Sisikemo would still be busy not sharing her Testimony.. Congrast Sis. Its always a thing of Joy and motivation to see people get approved here, So i was a little worried I havnt seen any Approval in a while. Thanks for sharing your Testimony with us, it shows God is still at work for many of Us still expecting approvals. Urs is the beginning of many approvals to come before the end of this month. And for those of you that have testimony and dont wanna share it, dnt lemme come for you oo.. It shall end in Praise, Positive vibes only. sisikemo: APPROVAL ALERT
Sorry this is coming late. I've also been an observer on this thread as well. i was supposed to share with the house but i've been very busy lately plus i wanted to hold the visa in my hand first to see for myself..lool (because CIC people are always surprising us) but after i saw what @mackano wrote i decided to just sharing pending the arrival of my passport.
Program- MBA School- University of New Brunswick
Timeline. i applied on June 9th Biometric letter came in June 13th Biometric done June 14th at VFS Lagos Medical request August 14th medicals done August 17th at IOM ikeja medicals updated to pass August 19th Passport request August 23rd Submitted my Passport August 24th at vfs and i was told to cexpect it in 5-10 working days of which im currently waiting for at the moment
Documents submitted: My Dad's SOA because he is my sponsor (sufficient one) 1.My transcript, 2. BSC certificate, 3. letter of sponsorship signed by my dad, 4.WAEC result, 5 Call to Bar Certificate and CV, 6. SOP (the SOP i used was the one i wrote for my school in other to get admission there, i did not know i was supposed to write a different SOP for Visa, 7. Admission letter, 8.Acceptance deposit of 1k (i did not pay tuition before applying)and passport bio data page.
i finished uni in 2015, then i went to law school, finished in 2016, finished NYSC in December last year (2017) and as that time i submitted my application i was not working then (unlike now). All in all i forgot to submit a lot of things like police certificate and all, i did not even put home ties or submit any information on my siblings or any other thing. when i joined this thread i discovered i did not submit a whole LOT of things and my application looked watery to me and i was scared cause a friend who is an agent did my application for me for free so i was getting jittery.
But regardless i believe that it was just God that helped me out because i was already losing hope. To all the TRV hopefuls it will definitely end in praise. this last week of august will not pass anyone by. there shall be no denials or deferrals just positive vibes only. Thanks to everyone that contributed in this group, i've really learnt a lot.
@jibola, Ralph Daniels, Onyi, Dami, Ruth and Florence, kingfintan it will definitely end in praise |

This one we have not gotten any Approval Testimony in a while, Izzit that peeps are not coming back here to share their testimonies of approvals or that CIC is still actually delaying. If it is the Latter, then I will assume they are keeping all the approvals for this week. So this week should be pregnant with approvals. And also for the peeps that got refused and have refused to come notify us here, please be strong and share ur refusals with us, so that we can together iron things out for you to re-fire and get ur Student Permits. Its too early to give up. Best of luck to the TRV hopefuls, This week is the week. |

its just so unfortunate that someone can attack you with abusive words just cos you told her the bitter truth. We all know the reasons why these VOs are harsh on Nigerians its cos of some people like Opeblaqwell that get to Canada to work instead of going there to study. And am sure these VOs knw that many Nigerians do this in Canada, thats why they go the extra mile to be convinced by applicants that they are going there to study. It pains me seeing a genuine student with all his documents being rejected by the VO, cos the VOs thinks its all Nigerians are like that, going to Canada to work instead of study. Now am telling you this forum isnt a forum for Jobs, that you should change ur mindset to study or go to the Forum for Jobs which is Express entry and you telling me am Insane and am an Idiot, even calling me a woman beater. Its well. |

Its people like you that make it difficult for genuine students to get their Visas. You want to get to Canada with a study visa, after which you will get there and not study but start looking for Jobs. Mr Man or Mrs Woman, Please this forum is for people that really wanna study and not look for Jobs. So find ur square root and look for a forum for Jobs. And am sure if you apply for a study permit with this desperation mindset, you will be kindly refused. So its better you change ur mindset to go study or you go find a forum for Canadian Jobs. Opeblaqwell: Good morning house . How easy is it to get a job in canada ? And is it possible to work with a study permit in canada without getting enrolled with your direct learning institite ? I remember one of the Gurus sayiing some days back that its not necessary to submit both SOP and LOE, wanted to counter that, but I just kept mute and also saying an SOP of more than 3 pages wont fly, that It will bore the VOs, I Thank God for ur Testimony bro, it has proofed that it is not bad submitting both SOP and LOE. And to those about to apply, especially the ones refused before, You can write both SOP nad LOE. We all know the content of an SOP, then for LOE, this document is simply to counter Ur previous refusals no matter the number of pages, byh proofing and convincing the VO, It shall end in praose.. Congrats Once again Bro, ur testimony is a motivation. And safe journey on ur trip to Canny. kingfintan: Finally my correspondence letter has arrived, and would be in Canada by nextweek for the fall session..
I was denied in June, applied for a second degree which some gurus in the house discouraged me not to go for, that I should go for a masters or something higher, despite having a 5 years engineering degree here in Nigeria 3 years ago.
I re-applied with faith without using a gcms note to tackle the reason.. I just wrote 6 pages of SOP and another 4 Pages of LOE together, and today I was approved of my visa(3 years) from the Kenya witchy witch VO, they denied me before.
Whoever has been denied before, please re-apply till you get it, because you will surely get it.. do not let anyone discourage you, go for what you want and back it up with good application and prayers, you will come out victorious.
I pray for everyone here who is waiting on their decision, you shall all be approved IJN, frustration is far from you.. please pray always, as prayer is the key..
I fasted for good 9 days with no food, just Garri and water.. but I knew after that, the lord would answer me..
I want to thank everyone one here who has contributed so well, and those who criticized me, you all made me strong.. and I can’t wait to always see good news here.
It will end in praise!! |
