So according to your answer it shows he doesnt have a first decgree, Ok good. What year did he finish his Secondary school, I hope its not more than 5 years cos if so, then u really need to convince the VO what he has been doing since then. Getting a study permit visa with an undergraduate at 28 is not impossible but very very difficult.. It all depends on you to convince the VOs that he is truly a genuine student going for an undergraduate study at his age. Peace

This is Makano and not Justwise. To answer ur question, I will need to ask you some questions? 1. Does he have a first degree here in Nigeria, if yes when did he graduate?
2. If yes, why another undergraduate degree and not a Master or PGD.
3. What has he been doing since he finished his 1st degree till this present time.
I will need this answers to really answer ur question. But the truth be told, he has a very difficult task of getting a study permit going for another undergraduate degree, he will really need to convince the VOs his reason for going for an undergraduate decree. But like I said earlier, ur questions will let me guide you of the possibility of getting ur Visa. It is not impossible getting a student visa with an undergraduate admission, as we have seen peeps here getting their visa with an undergraduate admission. but its very very difficult tho. So I await ur response. Peace

Am afraid MAY intake would be filled up by now in most schools, anybody deferring now will be getting the SEPTEMBER resumption intake. So the prayer now is for this VOs to answer applicants before they go for winter break. Peace

My 1 kobo advice to the house, if you haven't deferred your admission yet, its better you start thinking of deferring to spring term April/May as early as possible because of space, Cause as from December January spring admission will be closed.
These VOs will certainly go for winter break

Hello Peeps, Just stumbled on this. This are the list of accredited Physicians by CIC. Children Practice isnt there again. What happens to peeps that have already done their medicals there ?

Application under active review = They are currently reviewing if you are eligible to study in Canada (Even tho Eligibility review has started on ur profile or not)i.e Ur finances and If the documents you submitted actually proofs to them if truly you are a genuine student or not.. Application under active Processing = They are currently doing a background check on you i.e Criminal records, Travel history to other countries(If you have any criminal records in the countries you have visited and also if you have at any point overstayed in those countries) e.t.c. Peace

Noted bro....but I will like to tell u guys I actually, sent a mail to London and lagos visa offices. Den I also sent a webform...and 2day, I got this....so maybe it was done cos I was disturbing dem with mails or maybe not...but all the same for others in my category of May/June/july/August...kindly send mails to them...it might help one way or the other

There is no timeframe for this. it may be in days, and it can be in Months. Mine has started since August 28th, up till now no Medical request. So i do not think there is a itimeframe for it. Just be hopeful.

I want you to rephrase ur sentence. Its actually Canadian Application is one of the worst in the world for Nigerian applicants. Other countries do not take this long before they get a decision. Even some African countries get decisions in few weeks..

Sorry for the delay. This is easy to tackle even without ordering for GCMS. Purpose of visit is basically to proof to them that you are a genuine student going to study after which you are coming back to ur country. When writing ur SOP, let there be career progression i.e ur undergraduate study must be inline with ur proposed study or if you are working, ur line of work must relate with the course you are going to study. When u tackle this, then u are good to go. A quick question for u, did ur Eligibility review start before ur refusal or it was just on background check throughout, ur reply will be appreciated. peace

Travel history shouldnt be ur headache here. We have seen countless number of peeps here getting their TRV without leaving this shores of this country, So u dont need to be travel to the US or Afganistan. All you need to do is to tackle the other refusal reasons and travel history will automatically disappear.Peace

Letter of motivation here is the same as SOP I wrote but it was very short(single page), my fault though. The course I'm going for is quite related to my bachelor's degree course though I made 2.2. I chose chemical engineering because I've always had interest in industrial production and drug production, uses, action and effects of drugs(pharmacology), I even had my industrial training in a producing company. The VO misunderstood a 3 months computer program I was doing as a job. Please can getting an US visiting visa help in tackling lack of travel history in my own case? This Canada process is just so stressful

With my observation on this thread about peeps that sent mails to Lagos or London offices, urs is quite different, instead of getting a generic response like what others get, instead u got a mail requesting for ur new admission letter. Its a good sign, cos if they will refuse you, they wont request for a new admission letter. So its a good sign. But this one uve not gotten Medical request tho, assuming uve gotten that, then thats sure approval. But in all, its a good sign, I will advise u intensify ur prayers. Good luck.

I sent a mail to London office and got a response on Monday requesting for my new admission letter cos I deferred from September to January. PLS WHAT DOES THIS REQUEST SIGNIFY? Though I'm still patiently waiting for the medical request mail.

Firstly its not GMCS, its GCMS . Also take note that GCMS note is very important whether you like it or not. Its true this Vos do not favor Nigerian applicants, but at the same time we have peeps that have gotten their approval on this part. Please do not derail peeps here, if GCMS didnt work for you, it will work for someone else. Peace

Please forget this order GCMS and brainstorm whàt next and how to package the next application. This guys are just purposely refusing Nigerians Visa and you're their asking him to order GMCS, please if you don't have any comment keep mute

You can email it to CIC or just wait for them to request for it. The former doesnt guarantee ur Visa tho but when they ask for ur new admission letter then thats 90% approval. So the choice is urs. Peace

Even tho u did this to assist people, I still consider it a wrong move . Reason is cos many people here will copy this ur write up word for word, if not 90%, some wont bother editing much cos they will believe since this LOE worked for you there is no point changing anything. And if the VOs start seeing different applicants having almost the same kind of LOE, and sees they are all from Nigeria, that will be another big reason(Which is plagiarism) for them denying Nigerians visa even more. Just Imagine the Nairobi demons attending to this almost the same LOE, u knw what that means. We have suffered enough from this Visa Officers, Imagine someone applying since may and up till now, no response. It can be so annoying. So please dont let us complicate things more for ourselves. What you should have done is that u send it to the respective email addresses of the people that need it and seriously advise them to really change alot of things, because we all know this Oyinbo people dnt joke with plagiarism. Lets not complicate things more for ourselves. Peace

Am guessing it is due to the Biometric update that took place after 31st July this year. Most application after July 31st seem to go faster.
