CONGRATS BRO, This is a big testimony. For those of you saying its difficult to get visa with PGC/PGD, hope this have proved u wrong. Not only did he get his Visa, he got it within a month. Like I always say, the quickest approval (from Nigeria)I have seen on this thread was in 20 days and was also a PGD applicant, now this is another testimony. To all PGD applicants, do not be discouraged by anyone here, U can get ur Visa with PGC/PGD without any wahala, You just have to give this Vos what they want, thats all what that matters. Congrats once again Henricson, go make us proud. Peace henricson: I'm Henricson, the guy that always asked so many questions on part 14. I want to appreciate frankboh, jnjuwa, lagos2canna, infact everybody. You guys are too much.
School: Humber college Program: Post graduate certificate Course: Project management Online application submitted on September 12, 2018 Biometrics done on September 21st, 2018 Medicals passed October 10, 2018 Passport request October 11, 2018.
My application status is still on background check.
Documents submitted: All cic documents SOP 2 and half pages Birth certificate Resume SSCE certificate NYSC Statement of results for bsc in banking and finance, and MBA. Original certificate still in process. Bsc was 2008, MBA 2012 Transcript for bsc, just sent that of MBA the day before yesterday. Proof of finance: My dad's acct of a little over 3m, pension statement of almost 5m & sponsorship letter, My uncle who is a citizen and co sponsor just attached his employment letter showing how much he earns (no acct statement or fund transfer, he works for government of Nunavut though), citizenship certificate and sponsorship letter. First semester School fees receipt (8,095.50 cad) and invoice I had treasury bills of 1.1m and also pension of 400k plus, didn't submit SOA. Employment letter, no letter of introduction from company Company ID Up front medical done on July 31, 2018 Police report done August 15, 2018
I had no landed properties document though I am a first son to my dad, but his houses have no full documentation which I didn't have the time to purse.
I decided to put my full details for those who still doubt it's impossible for post graduate diplomas or certificate applications to get approval. Funny enough I even have a masters. And I'm 31 Secondly, I work in customer care telecommunications, and stated in my sop that I wish to change career path to project management to avail myself with abounding project management jobs in telecommunication. So career path change is possible. Lastly, based on what I have seen here I wouldn't say I have strong home ties, I just stated in sop that I needed to better myself as a first son to be able to take care of my parents and 4 other siblings.
If my application was disserted here, truth is I would be told not a tight application . But I did my best based on what little I had available and relied on God to perfect everything, and I strongly believed... Thank you Jesus. I wouldn't lie I didn't fast and pray, but I prayed fervently.
I just did a implant hardware removal surgery for a tibia fracture I had in an automobile accident last year. Have to walk with crutches for at least 3-6weeks until holes left by screws have healed considerably, but that won't stop me from bursting into vfs on Monday.
BTW... For those who have done ppr, hope I can get my passport back before Friday on 26/10/2018 as I'm to resume work on Sunday being 28/10/2018.
Please forgive my long epistle, I'm so happy. For all trv hopefuls, don't give up. I'm a living testimony. |

I may not have gone through your profile and documents you submitted, but with what you have put down here, I will assume you submitted a well packaged application. we all know even a well packaged application can be still be refused, while a not too good application get approved, it all boils down to Gods favour. Now this is my own little advise, I will advise you re-apply with this same documents and SOP(Since u said u thoroughly tackled the reasons for ur denial in ur SOP), its obvious the VO that attended to ur application isnt the right VO for ur application, am pretty sure if you re-apply with this same application, you can get ur Visa Approval. We have seen severally on this thread where applicants say after they were refused, they apply with the same documents they submitted in their previous appllication and they were approved. So please re-apply with those same documents, and if u need to work a little bit on ur already "thorough SOP", please do. I assure you will get it this time, since a different VO wil attend to ur re-aaplication. Do that before going for Judicial review at the Canadian court. Peace Dwebb55: Dear house, I finally received a response from CIC. However, I was delayed and will soon go about reapplying.
This application was my first and I believe it was well packaged as I am an avid reader of the thread and I also used a top immigration lawyer based in Canada and I have an unblemished travel history.
Submitted online on 1st of June. Biometrics was done on the 7th. I sent several CSE's and got a denial yesterday. I applied for a course in a trade as I recently started a business in that trade and needed further education to boost and improve my business. The trade isn't taught in the Universities which is why I had to apply to a college.
Deny was adduced to purpose of study but will be applying for my gcms shortly to get a specific reason. Contributions will be welcome to get this sorted.
Also thinking of a judicial review but yet to decide on if this will be a better option. Opinions are welcome and I look forward to being successful in a trade that I believe will enhance me personally and my society at large. |

Peace Agbons101: No need taking things personal with someone's question here...to the extent of wondering wat he/she will do wen they get to canada, that's absurd!...people are different, some assimilated faster dan others, some always want direct confirmation, we understand and see things differently. Mr Canadabyfire, no be fight oo. If everybody on this thread is lazy and ignorant, nobody will be here answering questions. We all got this knowledge we use in answering questions becasue we took the pain to do our research from reading up from previous thread, making google our good friend and some of us even go to the extent of following CIC on their social media just to get updates from them anywhere, and someone will just wake up one morning and jump here and ask lame questions. people should learn to do their own personal research and if they are not clear on somethings, thats when they can come here to ask questions. That is why Justwise always put links on the first page of every Part of this thread, so people can follow those links and work on their applications, but the lazy ones wont bother. Lets not encourage this habit, newbies should read up from previous parts of this thread. Peace canadabyfire: Guy, dont you think you venting too much..............there are all calibres of persons on this thread.........the young fresh leavers of high school, fresh graduates with no experience, and the advanced category.
Whist some questions are typically lame and unnecessary, silence will be the best answer. Some people are truly naive; while others are really ignorant and lazy.
However, hostile remarks seems like transferring aggression of delayed approval to both the naive, the ignorant and the lazy ones. |

For those of you that have been asking who the Nairobi guys are? As the originator of the Term NAIROBI GUYS, let me quickly summarise who they are, these are the VOs in the Canadian Embassy in Kenya that attend to paper applications (I pray they do not move them to start attending to Online tho) and 90% of their decisions on Nigerian Applicants are always refusals. If you apply through paper route, be rest assured that ur application is going to visit them, except ur prayers re-direct ur application to ACCRA Embassy. (KENYA and ACCRA Attends to Paper application). I have taken the pain to explain who NAIROBY GUYS ARE, if anybody come here to ask who these people are again, ur flogging will be out of this world. Peace |

Lol. When such people like this get to Canada, they will bring their assignments and projects on the thread for people to do for them.. Na to buy cane for this thread sure pass, I swear. Anybody with unnecessary question here would be flogged, I will personally flog you without no apology. To avoid my cane, make sure you read up from previous threads, cos I am sure ur Unnecessary questions would have been answered several times on previous parts and also make google ur very good friend. Dont comma bore us with ur "already answered" questions. CIC is really doing us strong thing and People are not smiling here. Peace Senatorkolade: It tire me o. If a Nigerian graduate can't draw a conclusion from what have been posted on Paper and online especially on Nairobi VOs, I wonder what the person is going to do Canada with a very rigorous academic fireworks |

Mr Man, no one is forcing anybody to use online route. Online route takes longer (3-5 Months) to get response but 60% of the response are positive, while that of paper route gets response within 2 months and 60% of the responses are refusals My personal Observation on previous thread. Most people go through Online cos they wanna avoid the NAIROBY GUYS, trust me,you dont want ur application to get to them. So the choice is urs. Peace hotcakept2: This one some of you on here are advising prospective student to use online route now I am confused. |

If you have been reading up this thread from the previous part, you would answer this question urself. Cos of recent on this part, someone just said he/she had applied since May (Online) and havnt gotten a response, while someone who applied August (Paper) had gotten a response(Refusal). So I am sure u knw the route to take, the choice is urs. Peace. hotcakept2: Hello Kriff, For someone that is looking at resuming in January which route would you advise. Online or Paper route? |

NAIROBI GUYS at work again, Mad people. Sorry bro kindly order ur GCMS note before re-applying and try re-applying through online to avoid our "beloved" Nairobi guys. 18 weeks and still got refused, this people are sick. Uzee24: Evening House.
So, after waiting for 18weeks, CIC Kenya branch(lolz...), decide to wield their big stick of refusal. Mehn...this guys no dey fear God shaaa.
Refusal reasons were based on family ties in Canada & country of residence and purpose of visit. I really dont get this guys, got admitted for MSc in Sociology, U of M. Have a Bsc in Sociology and currently working as a field officer in a development program. All family ties are here in Nigeria none whatsoever in Canada.
Guess my GCMS file will shade more light on the VO's point of reasoning.

Paper route may be faster than online route, but the refusal rate is higher, as the Nairobi guys dont waste time in refusing visa applications. While online route may be very slow but mostly it ends with approvals. This has been my observation right from the beginning of this part 14. Online applications gets more approvals than that of Paper. Like I said this is my observation based on the outcomes of decisions on this thread,so I no dey work for CIC ooo. not jst waiting 4 months, but waiting for that long and still get rejected. Someone here waited for 18 good weeks and still got rejected. Its really annoying to be candid... 123abcclown: The Canadian embassy should device a means to hasten this unbearable process. Honestly!
Compared to US and UK bound students, the emotional stress these TRV process put Canada bound students through is at best unfair.
Why on earth will an average of 50% of students wait for 3 months before application decision is made?
Charge more if you have to, reject more if you have to, but it's not worth it making students wait for 4 months! |

Please if you are a May/June/July/August applicant and even before those months, share your profile if you haven't so we can finalize timeline of CIC event. It is holding true so far that within 1-2 days is biometrics call, after 8-9 weeks, review of eligibility started, 10-12 weeks medical call, 12-14 weeks decisions are handed out. Age isnt a barrier, as long as you convince the VO that you are a genuine student that will come back to Nigeria after your studies. We have seen a 31yrs old Man getting his TRV on this forum. And for travel history, that wont be a problem too, so far you meet up other requirements for a study permit. We have also seen peeps on this thread with Virgin passports getting their Study visa. Good luck. Peace Baggiopreshy: Please am 26 years of age I do t know if am too old to us a Bsc program to apply for a student visa to canada. Ok. You can re-apply without ordering ur GCMS and still get ur Visa. I am seen someone re-applying without ordering for GCMS notes and he got his Visa. Note: Thats just 1 person out of so many that tried it. But with what you have just explain, You can re-apply in faith without the GCMS. I will advise you read up the thread from page i or previous parts. You will definietly encounter someone that got the same reasons as ur own and what he or she did to get his or her Visa. So if u cant wait for 3o days to get ur GCMS note, I expect you spend hours/days/weeks reading up this thread from Part 1 and I assure you will get info on how to tackle ur reasons without the GCMS Note. Best of luck. Peace blet: i really wanted to do that but it would take 40 -60 days before i get gcms notes, then re-applying would take about 3 months before i get feedback from embassy and resumption is 4th of January 2019. if i defer again, it wont be so nice either because the next session after that is september and i'm a newly wed, I'm leaving certain things on hold (child-birth etc) till after I get there. this is my predicament. |

There is nothing bad in re-applting immediately. But i will advise you get ur GCMS note first before re-applying. GCMS notes tells you the main reason why ur Visa was rejected unlike the generic refusal note you were given when ur application was rejected. So Order for ur GCMS notes, so you will know how to get ur visa in ur next application. Do not rush to re-apply. Peace blet: Thanks everyone. Is re-applying immediately (after tackling loopholes) disadvantageous? |

Nice one 042viber12, but this my peace slogan wey u use, u go pay oo.. We shall all smile las las.. Peace 042viber12: All I can say is, I have followed the thread...each approved persons wen dy share their profile, it's masters mostly few are PGDs..but for rejected, it's masters I see more..not PGDs except one current person dat just recently got rejected...but wen u look at the reasons for being rejected..its not cos of masters or PGD..its cos of SOPs...not Wat education status u are going for..student visa application is student visa application...VOs don't target any particular group of applicants if u are masters or PGD..its your SOPs that matters here... am a PGD applicant (Algonquin college) and I applied online cos my friends who are PGDs got theirs with no stress..so it's just to have a good and convincing SOP making sure all loop holes are well covered and back up documents to support them are in there and backing it up with prayers...Finish...so if u are a PGD applicant..no fear, do what you are meant to do and add God in it..u are good to go...Peace |
