This guy is most likley a clone, look at his ear, the right is bigger than the left and the real kanu was left handed. This guy is right handed

The real Nnamdi Kanu passed away in Kenya and the government brought back a clone ?

This is Namadin Kano el sudani...... grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

I remember the day Buhari had to tell the whole world it was really him and he had not been cloned at the UN general assembly.

If i were the government, i would get a kanu look alike with the same Fendi Attire to claim,he is the real Nnamdi Kanu, and when we get to court. I will ask him if he is the real Nnamdi Kanu. I will ask him to prove it. He also has to stand up in court and say he is the real Nnamdi Kanu.

PoliticsNigerian Lawmakers Probe $4.6 Bln Health Grants Received,as Disease Deaths Rise by malali(op): 1:43am On Oct 23, 2025
Nigerian lawmakers on Wednesday launched an investigation into how $4.6 billion in international aid grants between 2021 and 2025 was used, saying the money had failed to prevent high mortality rates from HIV, tuberculosis and malaria.

In a motion presented to the Nigeria's House of Representatives they said urgent oversight and a reevaluation of current strategies was necessary to prevent the country missing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of ending epidemics of those diseases by 2030.
Keep up with the latest medical breakthroughs and healthcare trends with the Reuters Health Rounds newsletter.

The committee will investigate the grants provided by the United States Agency for International Development and the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The Nigerian politicians noted that the United States Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief also contributed $6 billion over the same period to support HIV/AIDS treatment and strengthen health systems.
"Despite these significant investments, Nigeria remains burdened by public health challenges, including 51,000 AIDS-related deaths in 2023, ranking third globally," the parliamentary motion said.

Nigeria accounted for 31% of global malaria deaths and ranked first in Africa and sixth globally for tuberculosis cases, the lawmakers said.
U.S. President Donald Trump since returning to office in January has led the way in cutting foreign aid budgets, prompting humanitarian workers to warn he has put the lives of vulnerable people, especially in Africa, at risk.

PoliticsRe: 4 Months After Tinubu Launched N50 BN Tractor Initiative, Tractors Remain Unused by malali: 8:15am On Oct 21, 2025
It’s almost comical how the government talks about “agricultural independence” while N50 billion worth of tractors sit idle, gathering dust at NASC headquarters. Once the money is allocated in a Federal Executive Council meeting and spent, the project seems to instantly become a dead initiative. Bribes exchanged, kickbacks collected, and suddenly the task of serving millions of farmers lands in the hands of the lowest, most incompetent bureaucrats. These “lower cadre” officials then organize their own little “chop make I chop” distribution schemes, favoring states or farmers who can grease their palms, while the real beneficiaries, the hardworking farmers, wait in limbo.

The tractors should have been distributed immediately, with service personnel trained and strategically allocated across regions. Yet here we are, with 36 ministers and thousands of ministry staffers sitting on the sidelines, unable, or unwilling, to execute what should have been a straightforward plan.

All logic points to the fact that with oil prices high and a looming tax in January 2026, the government should be rushing to kickstart agricultural self-sufficiency. Instead, these tractors are rotting in one spot, a stark reminder that in this regime, policy-making and implementation are worlds apart. Money spent doesn’t mean action; it just means someone got paid.

I understand that Kanu had in the past spoken negatively about Peter Obi sleeping with other men. If this is another reason behind his silence over the injustice towards Nnamdi Kanu, then it shows that he is too petty to be Nigeria's president. It shows that his strong principled stance against injustice is a farce.

Kanu smeared countless people, shot off wild accusations without regard for consequences, and now he’s the one behind bars while some of those he slandered are forced to beg for his release. Imagine being branded “LGBT” falsely in public and then being expected to champion the freedom of the man who ruined your reputation. If someone had lied about you like that, would you lead a protest for them?
PoliticsRe: How Peter Obi Failed Nnamdi Kanu Over Identity Politics by malali: 1:52am On Oct 20, 2025
Peter Obi wants to stay squarely within the law.

Nnamdi Kanu’s campaign brought tragic consequences, lives lost, homes destroyed, livelihoods ruined by coerced sit-ins and unrest. Any reasonable person should avoid association with that brand of disruption.
Kanu’s actions warrant severe punishment; a long custodial sentence (40–50 years) would serve as a deterrent to others who gain satisfaction from violence, theft of property, and the destruction of people’s livelihoods.

You did not answer my question. Were they initially peaceful? What led to change of method, was it killing of innocent protesters, hunting down of their perceived members? In one pathetic case, the police went to an open ground where they were having their regular meeting, shot and killed many who had only flags in their hands. What was their offence? Was it that they killed people or that they demanded a country? Has government ever been held responsible for anything in this country?
The Governors are self serving and they know that majority of the people in SE and especially the youth align with the demands of the group. The Governors had a meeting with him in August 2017 with a follow-up to come. Did the arrogant Governors ever disclose the groups demand and what transpired in the meeting. Simply because those Governors lack capacity to manage crises. Should the FG also follow the Governors sheepishly. The truth is that the Nigeria state hate dissenting voices. The only president, who had brains to solve a national problem was President Umaru Yar'Adua. He found a way to bring peace in the Niger Delta.

On the statistics of 5% to 95%, who did the poll? Do you think the FG will sincerely allow for referendum especially when there have been serious push to not put referendum in the constitution.

MNK abused everyone including his own tribesmen, which I think was overboard.

The insecurity in the SE is multidimensional, all sort of criminals, state and non-state actors took advantage of the situation, especially with Simon Ekpa group. The calm there today is because, MNK IPOB washed their hands off from the continued sit at home order and the charging of Ekpa to court by Finland government.

The Nigerian state should better take the issue of Equity, Fairness and Justice for all very serious otherwise we'll continue to have dissenting voices.

The government pleaded for them to use the right channels to express dissent , they refused, instead they clowned the government, spread propaganda like crazy. People lost their lives and their properties. But guess what...Now that Nnmadi Kanu and Simon Ekpa are locked up !! We have peace and quiet. No more warlord, home and abroad.
The government will never release Nnamdi Kanu. If we have to sacrifice him for peace in the Southeast. Then so be it. I understand the emotional connection to his drama. But no man can threaten the peace of a whole region.

Section 39 subsection 1 states....

"Every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression, including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without interference"
Take note of this "to receive and impart ideas and information without interference" you can not twist the law when it does not favour you. The court has no power to restrict/limit peaceful protests as doing so means interfering on right of the people to freedom of expression. Malali, you always deceitfully omit facts in your posts about Kanu. You always push half truths and absolve the government of any blame that's why I find your words empty. Kanu's agitation was never violent until the government attacked IPOB members through it's military offensive campaigns in the south east.
You said "The Abuja court didn’t “ban” protests; it limited them around high-risk zones like Aso Rock and the National Assembly, a standard global security practice, not tyranny." Nigerians have the right to protest peacefully in public places such as Unity Fountain, Aso Rock and National Assembly, the court should've mandated the police to provide security for the protesters and not to infringe on protesters rights by restricting them. I know that you will not say all you are saying if the protest was to demand for Kanu to be sentenced to death because you are not different from other malicious hateful people here whose only mission is to ensure that Nnamdi Kanu never gets justice but your plan will fail.

You can make statements to keep people on the alert and that doesn't mean you were responsible for any action afterwards.

You can threaten someone out of anger and and something unfortunate happens to the person you threatened (not connected to you whatsoever), preliminary investigation could warrant your arrest, but doesn't mean you were responsible and could be proven in a competent court.

I'm sure you were referring to the end sars saga in Lagos influenced by your 'cherry picking' of words; kanu did not order people to burn lives and properties, he only insinuated people should defend themselves from sponsored thugs, whose modus operandi is cause confusion during any peaceful protest.
It is the duty of the police to protect peaceful protesters, but we all saw in the videos and from subsequent protests, how the police watch these thugs destroy properties.

Assuming those thugs were Kanu's men, are you saying they are now working for the Nigerian police?

The more you push your misconception about kanu, the more you indict the state actors

His insinuations caused damage to lives and properties and economies of states.

PoliticsRe: How Nnamdi Kanu Completely Exposed Nigeria As A Lawless Country by malali: 8:17am On Oct 19, 2025
Freedom of expression isn’t freedom from accountability. Section 39 of the Constitution guarantees peaceful protest, not the right to paralyze the capital or threaten national assets. The Abuja court didn’t “ban” protests; it limited them around high-risk zones like Aso Rock and the National Assembly, a standard global security practice, not tyranny.

Kanu’s earlier movement proved how quickly “peaceful agitation” can morph into chaos, lives lost, businesses ruined, fear normalized. No responsible government sits idle while that repeats. The remedy for a disputed order is appeal, not outrage. Nigeria isn’t lawless; it’s finally insisting that rights and responsibility walk hand-in-hand.

PoliticsRe: There Was No Need For Nnamdi Kanu’s Arrest In The First Place - Peter Obi by malali: 7:54am On Oct 19, 2025
While every citizen has the constitutional right to express dissatisfaction or seek greater autonomy, the method matters as much as the message.
During the height of Nnamdi Kanu’s movement, many communities in the Southeast endured severe disruptions, loss of lives, destruction of property, and widespread fear. Ordinary traders couldn’t open their shops, transporters lost livelihoods, and public servants were targeted simply for doing their jobs. These were not the hallmarks of a peaceful quest for self-determination; they were symptoms of a movement that had veered off course.

Against that backdrop, government intervention became inevitable. No responsible administration can ignore a situation where public safety collapses and citizens live in constant fear. Since Kanu’s detention, the region has seen measurable improvement in day-to-day security and a slow return of economic activity, evidence that enforcing law and order was necessary.

What’s unfortunate is that some national figures who personally recognize these realities still frame the issue in purely emotional or sectarian terms. True statesmanship demands consistency: leaders must champion lawful dialogue, not romanticize defiance that costs innocent lives. If there is genuine interest in resolving grievances, the constitution already provides avenues , including legislative sponsorship of a regional referendum proposal , that can be pursued through elected representatives rather than through coercive tactics.

For Nigeria to move forward, moral courage must outweigh ethnic sentiment. National integrity demands that truth, not tribal loyalty, guide our words and actions.

Take up arms to do what ? A lot of prominent politicians and religious leaders have also said people should take up arms and defend themselves, because it's a constitutional right to life.
Kanu is only kept perpetually in detention because he is against the British project
When speech and action cross the line into burning lives, destroying property, and suppressing entire local economies with mandatory “stay‑home” orders, no government can legitimately ignore it, because a government that does nothing is effectively no government at all. Call it a British project, American project, Cambodian project or whatever label people throw around; the core point is procedural: there is a lawful process for change. If I come to your home and start burning your wife’s things, forcing you to stay home and not pursue income on Mondays, and making the neighbourhood unsafe, and you lack the power to stop it, the government has every right, and duty, to intervene on your behalf.

That’s exactly what happened in the Southeast: mass intimidation and enforced shutdowns crippled commerce and endangered citizens. The state’s security apparatus cannot stand aside while one man’s actions wield the force of a militia and shut down daily life from abroad. When violence and extortion replace civil discourse, federal intervention is not only justified, it’s necessary to restore order and protect civilians. If the aim is political legitimacy or self‑determination, pursue it through lawful channels and referendums, not by terrorizing a region and forcing compliance through fear.

First you should know that Lagos/SW and SE is not the same. That we are lumped together as one country does not mean we have one common goal. Nigeria as a country does not have a goal. You did not condemn the FG that killed many peaceful protester in the early days of the movement. You did not condemn Buhari for his insensitivity in ordering the killing of innocent civilians in the SE for just believing in the movement. You did not condemn Buhari for sending soldiers to kill him in his home which they eventually killed many people in his house. Those lives don't matter right?
When did the violent activities start, was it before or after the extra judicial killings of peaceful protesters? I have reservations in some of the later activities of the group but how do you excuse the FG for their high handedness. The state has power to exterminate right? Do know that human right organisations condemned and documented the various killing by the state against this people. Buhari designated them terrorist organisation but adamantly refused to do the same to those wielding AK47 in bushes, killing and raping women in their farms and displacing villages. So where is the justice in Nigeria?
Finally, was ANC a terrorist organisation? Why were they designated a terrorist organisation by SA, UK, USA and others? Are they still terrorist organisation today?
All hostilities ended on a negotiation table isn't it, why can't FG do the same for all the nationalities that make up the country. All lives matters.
Let view things from all sides.
Thank you for acknowledging that what Nnamdi Kanu did in the Southeast could never have been allowed to happen in Lagos. Every region has its share of dissatisfied people, even Lagos has individuals who question the structure of Nigeria. But the difference lies in leadership and response. If the governor of the Southeast had managed the escalating violence and destruction of property effectively, there would have been no need to involve the Federal Government.

President Buhari only intervened after the sitting governor, the Chief Security Officer of the state, requested federal assistance, recognizing that the situation was spiraling out of control. It’s important to note that insurgents, terrorists, and separatists exist across Nigeria, from the North to the Niger Delta, and each group employs different tactics to spread chaos. Therefore, comparing how the government handles each region is a futile exercise; security responses are context-driven, not uniform.

The ANC in South Africa represented 95% of the oppressed population rising against a 5% minority regime. That’s completely different from Nnamdi Kanu’s movement, which represented barely 5% of Southeasterners trying to oppose 95% of Nigerians. Even within the Southeast, not everyone supported him, many were coerced into compliance.

His so-called “stay-at-home” orders crippled the economy, forcing businesses to close under threat. That’s not democracy, that’s fear. The people never voted for it; their elected representatives in the Senate or House never endorsed it. It was rule by intimidation.

The Federal Government, in this case, acted responsibly. No single individual should be allowed to turn himself into a warlord, holding an entire region hostage and wrecking lives and livelihoods. If the goal was truly self-determination, there are constitutional and diplomatic channels to pursue a referendum. not violence.

In truth, Nnamdi Kanu is fortunate to still be alive. Many former leaders would not have handled his case with such restraint.

You probably don't know South-east. You swallow everything said on social media hook, line and sinker. First, people don't sell their land just to please you or look good. There must be a need. Secondly, there are many hausa/yoruba who own properties and do businesses over there, especially the areas you have them as a community. If they are maligned how come they have flourishing leadership in the various states.

Every day, Nnamdi Kanu went on air preaching venom, spreading ethnic hate and openly advocating violence toward other Nigerian groups. His rhetoric went unchecked, and his crowd of online cheerleaders encouraged it. The result? Loss of lives, destruction of property, and an escalation of insecurity across the Southeast.

There are countless videos of him hurling insults at Yorubas, Hausas, and Fulanis, labeling them with every vile name imaginable, and yet, no one raised a protest against this.

Now, after his arrest, the region has experienced relative peace. People who once feared traveling home now confidently return to the East for Christmas. During his agitation, the situation was dire, you either paid “protection fees” to his followers or hired MOPOL or private guards just to move around safely.

And today, the same voices that were silent when he endangered others are demanding his release.
