Our main problem is they gave us democracy with a proper democratic structure! There's need to restructure and allow for regional and rotational government. As we can see, full fledge nationalistic approach is not working.

We are circling the drain economically, I travel to third world countries in the Caribbean they have full guaranteed power supply, roads, healthcare commensurate with their currencies, they have no oil. 1Dollar = 52 peso it has been the same for 10years with fluctuations to 51-53 peso at the maximum.
In that time frame Nigeria has gone from 1 Dollar =167Naira to 800Naira...This shows no economic or fiscal policies in all the democracy post Abacha.....Nothing has worked.
Cost of living now actually supports corruption, because your job will never be able to pay for you to live like a decent human being.....I feel really bad for people facing this plight.

It doesn't matter who wins. The people get the leader they deserve! Nigerians wish they have a very good leader, but really don't deserve a good leader for now. When they are ready to have a good leader, they will do the right thing in unison.

You know what, when we had a military leader....the call for democracy was both national and international, there was pressure from home and abroad...Now we are stuck with politicians worse the military rulers.
And the fight is just within, the whole world thinks we are fine, despite maximum suffering.......I am afraid to say we are in big trouble.
Our democracy has gone off the rails......All our politicians are in it for themself.

The average politician goes into power to secure his future not the future of the people he was elected to serve.....

So they loot the treasury to invest abroad....because they know naira falls easily like a toddler learning to walk......

If Governor X was elected when 1dollar was N200.....He buys 3 houses in london and considers them investment, sends his kids to schools abroad.

Now Governor Y has taken over, 1 dollar is N800....He now has to loot 4X to afford the 3 houses in London and send his kids to schools abroad.

We are spiraling into an abyss...Tinubu, Atiku or Peter Obi cannot save us......We need a hard reset.

Even the looters are not safe....You loot 10 billion, and the value drops in 6 months to 5 billion.

You should only be able to run for president if you have 100,000 employees earning minimum N100000 for at least 5 years with a proven tax record.
These would enable the looters keep the money in the country and any aspiring politician, would have to hire more people and the records should be easily accessible for verification.
Governors/Senators/HOR should also do so but to a lesser degree.
By the time election comes around we have 1000 aspiring politicians who have been able to create millions of Jobs even before contesting......

Not like we have now where they only "promise" to create millions of Jobs after they win....Thats like promising to buy a house for a prostitute if she lets you sleep with her for free.[/b]

Only way to PDP can win is to Fire Ayu as demanded by Wike immediately(you can always settle Ayu eventually) Get the G6 back on board, Merge with Labour Party (Peter Obi cannot win election even his wife knows). If you pull off this move, you will beat Tinubu hands down.
