You are right about the 3rd point. Obi neither has that influence or charisma to instill loyalty. Even if the other candidates fall ill and presidency is meted to him, it would be a weak presidency. People will do whatever they like.

For some reason that I can’t explain, every time I came across photos of this boy I would always flinch or feel somehow disturbed looking at his face.

He had a slackness in his expression that made me uncomfortable and I noticed I would click off or move to the next post to avoid him. But I was confused as to why a picture of an infant I have no connection to would evoke such a response.

Now that you guys have started speculating about various disorders, I wonder if this is what I was having such a strange reaction to.

But whatever the case may be, I still hope that the most sinister and cynical of these speculations around the poor child’s demise are not true…

Hi, likewise. It made me sad when you mentioned how Davido looked at Ify. It reminded me of how my now estranged husband would look at our son and try so hard to engage him to get a picture to post on FB. The stigma is so horrible. My husband never told his friends in Nigeria about his diagnosis. He once spoke to a distant friend in another state in the US who faced the same thing. They all shared the same shame and secrecy. Most Nigerians have the need to appear perfect and better than others and having a special needs child hurts that image. As educated as the average Nigerian is , they are far behind when it comes to Autism blaming it on the devil. Same way they called Femi Otedola all kinds of names bc of his son. At the very least a pool cover should have been on that pool. It could very well be an accident but only God would ever know. It’s worse when the child is non verbal I’m sure. The best thing they could have done was to stay based in the US with Ify and his mom, put him in a private school, keep him out of the eyes of SM and intense ABA therapy. Many autistic children are highly gifted. My son knew how to read at a 2nd grade level at the age of 2. My prayers are with him.

Unfortunately I think you’re right. I have a son on the spectrum. He’s 6 now but was diagnosed when he was 2. We live in America. He looks neurotypical but certain behaviors would let you know he’s on the spectrum. Since having him I can look at a child and know if they are on the spectrum and baby Ify definitely showed those signs. Even how he behaves in some videos you can tell and he was quite active. Even if they did not know he’s autistic they should know how hard it is to keep tabs on him and should have taken all precautions to not only have a gate at the pool but also a pool cover especially in their absence. Due to the stigma of Autism in Nigeria I would not say foul play is out of question! With all the money Davido has, and as Chioma’s only child why couldn’t the child with his nanny follow them to where they were going? They could just get a separate hotel room for them. God forgive me if I’m wrong and may their be justice on anyone who had a hand in that innocent baby’s death!

First of all, show a CCTV footage of how the boy got into the swimming pool. E get why. Make una no use rich man game fool me.

I don't want a video of him struggling in the pool. I want a video that shows how he got into the pool. I want to see a footage of how he alone moved out of the house, walked to the pool and nobody was around the pool.

A Justification for my opinion:
Davido released a video for a vindication purpose in the past.

For those attacking me:
I don't care about your sentiment here. You are free to attack me here. You can't beat or arrest me. But one thing is sure about you. You are fooling yourselves. When videos circulate about Davido on other things, do you tell people that they don't need to see the videos?

If Ifeanyi was another person's child and Davido or anybody in Davido's camp is accused, you will demand a footage. And if there is a footage that can vindicate Davido, the footage will go viral. If no footage is released, people like you will say it is a setup to tarnish Davido's image.

But because this case will implicate either Davido or someone close to him, you are saying the public doesn't deserve to see the footage. Videos of Davido and Chioma get to the public, even for what the public doesn't need to know about Davido. But this one that is necessary, you claim the video should not be released.
