Your country is being taken and you're here arguing about types of helicopters used. I remember a certain professor, (Alaghero?) warning France plans to invade Nigeria and he was called mad. Nigeria cannot accept help from the AU and UN but allows Chadian sponsors of Boko Haram incursions into its country. |
asha80:In this case, as in many others, a non-Igbo complains and next you have hordes descending on the North, as if they're waiting for the kill. |
asha80:But here it's done by IgboMonk and the usual suspects. |
Only in this thread you find: | "...almajiric fools." "Those fools ..." "... their madness." "The Hausa ...hate southerners." "...the northerners behaving like animals." "Northern brainless youths." "Gambari." "Gambari Muslims." "Mad Gambaris ..." "...callous animals." "Fake Muslims." | Look at the provocations just in one thread, and they're always quick to play the victim. |
bokohalal:Before, during and after the war. |
IDeyNL:Take out Prof. |
IgboMonk:You are a joke! Talking of those disowned by their people as a reference. Why should those be taken serious when even their tribesmen see them as outcasts. |
IDeyNL:They are known here and have no other pastime but abusing the North. Go through the thread you'll know what am talking about. |
IDeyNL:Whether it's here or outside makes no difference, as its the hidden that manifests. These attacks just show your states of mind. Why are the Igbos here attacking the North (turning it into Igbo affair) even when the OP has stated here that it's not an Igbo affair. |
IDeyNL:It's the Igbos who are mostly attacking the northerners. It's the Igbo's that are defending the Asaris, the Tompolos and the Boyloafs. |
SeverusSnape:What does it mean to be a Northerner? Look at it this way: By the statement "You must be a Northerner", you are a southern version of the crowd that attacked the OP. |
Borderless:Tell me one thing that cannot be manipulated in Nigeria. |
Ask those on the forefront of this smear whether they truly believe Buhari has no certificates and they start grasping at straws. The whole thing is to cast doubt on the minds of the gullible, and it seems to be working. |
Curiously, a section of the stadium, rather than praising the president, started singing “sai Buhari,” a situation that forced security operatives to chase the disgruntled supporters out of the stadium.Na wah oo! Why should they pursue them? Why should they pursue part of the 'mammoth' crowd? |
Buhari gets it right again! |
The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) has dissociated itself from the presidential election debates organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG). Chairman TMG Ibrahim Zikirullahi in a protest letter to the NEDG Executive Secretary Eddie Emessiri obtained by our reporter on Saturday in Abuja also accused the organisers of fraudulently using its name to solicit fund without its consent. “For the avoidance of doubt, TMG wants to make it clear that at no time were we invited either verbally or in writing to participate in putting together the 2015 Presidential Election Debates. We are therefore dismayed that our name and corporate identity has been used, including in requests for sponsorship, creating the impression that TMG is officially in the know of these debates. “To say the least, we find the unauthorized use of our corporate identity in canvassing for funding, and in creating the impression that we are an integral part of the project, unacceptable. This runs contrary to the objectives of transparency and probity that an otherwise laudable project like the Presidential Debates would seek to entrench in Nigeria’s democratic space,” Zikirullahi said. He said the TMG believes in deepening Nigeria’s democracy and would ordinarily be at the forefront of promoting activities like the debate for candidates but would however not be party to underhand moves that sacrifice due process and good conscience on the altar of expediency. http://abusidiqu.com/tmg-dissociates-self-from-nedg-presidential-debates-accuses-organisers-of-fraud/ |
fashrola:What's the correct way? I am always eager to learn. |
Descartes:He has told you by logical inference where his certificate[s] are. If a legal recourse is followed, at least whichever party is accused of being in possession of the documents will be called on to testify. If there's any chance (even as low as 1%), don't you think the accuser will go for a kill - legally? |
Descartes:He has sworn an affidavit to that effect. Any argument that didn't start from there is derailment. And FYI, anyone who thinks Buhari will lie under oath on this issue is on a long thing. That's why I insist most arguing don't know what they're arguing about. |
menesheh:Any offer should be scrutinized and confirmed that the body organizing it (local or foreign) is reputable. Would the PDP accept an invitation from many of the media that are labelled APC-friendly? |
Descartes:There's a saying in local parlance that 'PDP is not a responsible parents, since it eats its children.' |
okwylnaz:So, you will willingly jump into hole dug by your enemy to prove your preparedness. | "To be prudent, it isn't enough not to meddle in other people's business; you must stop them from meddling in yours." – Baltasar Gracian | 'Power is not so much what you do, but what you do not do as well.' – Robert Greene |
Descartes:He has done the needful. But as it is with many things concerning him it has opened many interpretations by different interests. |
Mr. Menesheh, no bi only Buhari boycott d debate. Every supporter of his will also boycott the debate. How can I go to a debate when I am sure my opponents may be given expo while I am not. |
UkwuNnu:Even in the midst of falling Naira and oil prices, some persons were able to stabilize their personal economies as some governments were able to stabilize their national economies. |
SeverusSnape:Vote Buhari. |
Descartes:For me it has a connection. I am trying to relate that you don't understand what you quoted above: "My certificates are ...."Just say you can't interpret the statement for the fear that you would miss it. |
Descartes:It doesn't. But like I tell you, you don't understand Buhari. Let me give you an instance, and if you interpret it correctly you won't have any problem with what he said. When he lost an election to OBJ, he said something like this: After May 29, they'd be no government in Nigeria.' |
Descartes:Mr. Descartes, why are Buhari's statements giving you headaches? Why are they always misinterpreted by the mundane? If you're that philosophic as you claimed, the best thing to have done is to INSIST on him to explain what he meant by his papers are with the Military authorities. |
Descartes:What's the easiest way to prove if he doesn't have? |
"Buhari Is A Grandpa." – Fayose | As if it's a crime to be. |
muzzol:The whole idea of the certificate brouhaha is to cast doubt on people's minds, and it's working. It's only the misinformed that are buying into the idea of Buhari not finishing secondary school. |
