The SE governors got the message the FG sent over Nnamdi Kanu and his flagrant breach of his bail conditions. Knowing that should Kanu be arrested, the resulting unrest in the region would hamper their ability to govern effectively and hence the rationale behind this meeting. If Buhari knows whats best for the unity of this country he should insist on crushing IPOB once and for all, and deal with the fallout

Rising from the closed-door crucial meeting between the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Prince Nnamdi Kanu and the South East Governors Forum under the leadership of Gov David Umahi in Government House, Enugu on Wednesday, the governors have reached an agreement with Kanu over demands on Biafra.

The Forum, in a communique issued shortly after the meeting with Kanu urged the leader of IPOB and his supporters to exercise a little patience with the governors so that their demands would be properly looked into and resolved amicably.
