the jews of today, do they believe in the torah or not? i can see you clearly have nothing to say, hence the rubbish you are saying! undecided
the Jews 100 percent believe in the torah, did I condemned the torah ? I say, not all laws in the torah apply to christians, there are laws God gave to the isrealite how to deal with difficult situation , example, nothing like bank loan during the exedus era, so God allowed the Jews to volunteers to work for their master in other to pay debt, God provide law to Guide this slaves.

So the points is not All law apply to christians, infact the mosaic law are only for the jews, NOT For the Gentile.

Christianity Etc › Re: Faith,belief,reason And Truth. by malvisguy212(op): 1:23pm On Jan 03, 2016
malvisguy212:
Justification is the concept that provides
our belief with the assuredness of its
truth. People believe things for reasons,
which provide the warrant for their belief.Without these reasons, you do not have knowledge of what you believe. If a belief is JUSTIFIED, then we have the right to believe it. Atheists got it wrong, there view was; " since you cannot know something with 100% certainty, you cannot obtain the truth (or knowledge), you just have to believe ,God did it". The bible say otherwise, in Isaiah 1:18 God is calling human to "come and let us REASON together"

This brief journey into obtaining knowledge of what you belief was done in order to show the relationship between FAITH,BELIEF AND TRUTH . Christianity requires faith, faith requires
belief, and belief requires TRUTH.This is not just a mere belief but rather a trust that is characterized as knowledge.

Notice how Paul incorporates all three of these elements in his letter to the
Romans, “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). You cannot "confess with your mouth" without knowing the truth.

No matter how hard I try, I cannot make myself believe that there is a pink elephant in the room right now. I do not have direct free will over my beliefs, i.e. I can’t make myself believe something. I also cannot just tell people what to believe or exhort them to believe it. But if I don’t have free will over my beliefs, how can the Bible hold me responsible for them? The answer lies in the fact that I do have responsibility as to where I choose to focus my mind. I have free choice in body movements and where to place my attention (what you choose to think about). I have to choose to be preoccupied with something to change my belief or increase my certainty in that belief .Faith in the biblical sense means trust or confidence, confident in what we know to be TRUE. You do not have to be 100% certain in a belief for it to count as knowledge.

The bible say faith alone cannot save , why? because what you have faith in
must be TRUE, Biblical faith is accurate knowledge combined with ACTIVE TRUST Faith and knowledge are not opposed to each other. So Trusting faith alone does NOT save, but instead what is trusted MUST be true.

The faith Jesus had was not an absence of knowledge, but was based upon an intimate knowledge of his Father. We too can gain knowledge to make our faith richer.

malvisguy212:
Jesus is a very important figure in Islam.
Muslims believe, Jesus is just a prophet,
He was merely a prophet, a prophet
whose second coming will bring about
Allah’s judgement on the human race.

In the fourth book of the Quran, al-Nisa
(or “The Women”), we are told that Jesus
never died on the cross. Instead, Allah is a gifted trickster. Behold:

Quran 4:157 And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did
they crucify him;but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
Quran 4:158 Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in
Might and Wise.

No reason were given why Jesus was snatch from death. Allah couldn’t wait a few more days for Jesus to be executed. He needed Jesus in heaven right away. But he also needed Jesus to be executed. The solution? Snatch Jesus
from earth right now and pick someone else to wear Jesus’ face long enough to fool the executioners and the Jews.

In completing this absurd trick, Allah
must’ve known the following:

The crucifixion of Jesus would be used to create Christianity, the largest religion
the world has ever known–a rival religion, mind you. So it was all a ruse to
trick people into following the LARGEST
religion. Unfortunately for these cursed
Christian souls, Allah waited another 600 years before bothering to mention that the Divine Jesus myth in the bible was all a lie.

Those who died Prior to the coming of muhammed to clear this out , who's gonna take the blame for their unbelief ? Allah for tricking the Jews or satan ?

You believe sunday is the last day of the week, those that follow Judaism believe saturday is the last day of the week. Please which is correct and why the confusion??
any day you chose to worship God is acceptable to God.

Romans 14:5-6
5 One person considers one day more
sacred than another; another considers
every day alike. Each of them should be
fully convinced in their own mind. 6
Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to
the Lord and gives thanks to God.

la illaha illa Lahu Muhammad rosullulah (SAW)
who is Allah debating here ? No doubt is the 360 idols in kabba, there is no gods but allah and muhammed is his prophet. Muhammed is the only prophet of allah.

AN OPEN LETTER TO SINCERE MUSLIMS
If you strongly believe that Muhammad
can guide you to gain eternal salvation,
please consider the following confessions of Muhammad in the Qur’an:

Surah 46:9: “Say: I am not the first of
the apostles, and I do not know
what will be done with me or with
you: I do not follow anything but that
which is revealed to me, and I am
nothing but a plain warner.” (Shakir)

Surah 6:50: (Muhammad), tell them,
“I do not claim to have all the
treasures of God in my hands, nor to
know the unseen, nor do I claim to
be an angel. I follow only what is
revealed to me (from God).” Say to
them, “Are the blind and the seeing
equal?” Why then do you not think?
(Sarwar)

Surah 7:188: Say: “I have no power
over any good or harm to myself
except as Allah wills. If I had
knowledge of the unseen, I should
have multiplied all good, and no
evil could have touched me: I am
only a Warner, and a bringer of glad
tidings to those who have Faith (in
Allah).”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23,
Number 459:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle
used to invoke (Allah): “(O Allah) I
seek refuge with you from the
punishment in the grave and from
the punishment in the HELL FIRE and
from the afflictions of life and
death, and the afflictions of Al-
Masih Ad-Dajjal.”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23,
Number 455:
Narrated By Asma’ bint Abi Bakr:
Allah’s Apostle once stood up
delivering a sermon and mentioned
the trial which people will face in the
grave. When he mentioned that, the
Muslims started shouting loudly.

Please reflect on the assurance that
Muhammad gave his early followers.
Muhammad left them with a very gloomy future threatening over them. Although Muhammad was unsure of the future, he was certain about one thing. The destiny of all Muslims – including yours.

Surah 19:71: It is the inevitable
decree of your Lord that every one
of you will be taken to Hell. (Sarwar)

Dear Muslims this is the destination that Allah and Muhammad have left for you.

Now consider the assurance that Jesus
gave his disciples:

John 5:24: Most assuredly, I say to
you, he who hears my word and
believes in Him who sent me has
everlasting life, and shall not come
into judgment, but has passed from
death into life.

John 14:6: Jesus said to him: “I am
the way and the truth and the life. No
one comes to the Father except
through me.

John 11:25: Jesus said to her: “I am
the resurrection and the life. He that
exercises faith in me, even though he
dies, will come to life.

John 6:40: For this is the will of my
Father, that everyone that beholds
the Son and exercises faith in him
should have everlasting life, and I will
resurrect him at the last day.”

Matthew 11:28: Come to me, all you
who are heavy burden and loaded down, and
I will give you rest.

malvisguy212, when will you stop this copying and pasting? i have comprehensively explained the issue of the beheading of banu quraytha in THIS THREAD, moreover it wasnt even Muhammad pbuh that gave the judgement of beheading, it was sa'ad(a former ally of the banu quraytha)that gave the judgement, banu quraytha chose him themselves to be their judge, and sa'ad gave the judgement according to this bible verse Deut20:12-14 "If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. When the LORD your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the LORD your God gives you from your enemies."
shut up , I provide evidence, the Islamic sharia law support beheading. “beheading” is the prescribed method of Islamic killing. Islamists also consider beheading as the most degrading way of killing kafirs (infidels). Muslim extremists love to use this brutal method to kill infidels because of their hatred for all those who do not accept their form of worship. Islam is an evil barbaric religion of hatred, violence and cruelty. And this hatred is built on the foundation of the Book of Hate.

Deutoronumy is the old covenant, we are not bound by the law, and not all laws in the old testament apply to christians.

God has already find us, isn't it wonderful that God the son incarnate in the flesh just to have a special relationship with His creatures ? Christianity is not a religion, is a way of life, the disciples never use the word christians to call their self, why ? Because the substance is not in the word, is in the heart. It was the pagan who first call the apostles christians because the apostles do not followed the commercial world of the pagan, what is the purpose of creating humans and then set up a religion to find God ? Even your parents will not do this after given birth to you,set up a pattern for you to follow or hate you.

Islam claims they believe in Jesus, can you go to the mosque and call the name of Jesus?

Surah 3:55: Behold! God said: “O
Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee
to Myself and clear thee of the
falsehoods of those who blaspheme; I
will make those who follow thee
SUPERIOR to those who reject faith,
to the Day of Resurrection.” (Yusuf
Ali, Original 1938)

Those who follow Jesus are Christians.
And the Qur’an states very clearly that
they will be made superior until “the
Day of Resurrection.” The Day of
Resurrection or Qiyamah will occur at
the time of the end. This means that,
according to the Qur’an, even at this very moment true Christians are in an exulted position as far their worship is
concerned. If Christians are made
superior until the Day of Resurrection
as the Qur’an itself testifies, where do
you think will be their final destination?

what is the glad tiding muhammed bring ? Their is NO verse in the quran that promote unconditional love for both the believers and the unbelievers , if their is any, I challenge any muslims to bring forth it, the quran say allah hate sinners . In the bible, God first love us before He send his only son to die for us, it is the lust of the flesh that is attracting you not the word of God, the plan of salvation islam, deny it, can you boasts of your holiness is sufficient to make heaven ? How is the remission of sin done in islam ? I created a thread for this and the muslims complained that the thread be close, let me just give you some here.

Surah 4:30-31, Whoso doeth that
(evil deeds) through aggression and
injustice, We shall cast him into Fire,
and that is ever easy for Allah. If ye
AVOID THE GREAT (THINGS) WHICH YE ARE FORBIDDEN, We will remit from you
your evil deeds and make you enter at
a noble gate.

Satanic deception. This clearly implies that Allah will only send you to hell for great sins. Small sins, like lusting over a belly dancer will be ignored, you just have to avoid the great sin .

Koran, Sura 6:120, Forsake the
outwardness of sin and the inwardness
thereof. Lo! those who garner sin will
be awarded that which they have
earned.

So there is Hell to pay for great sins, but
the small sins will be overlooked if the
great ones are not committed. We also
see that sin is to be forsaken, is this the glad tiding you are talking about ?

Surah 72:21: Say, “I possess no
power to harm you, nor to guide
you.” (Khalifa)

Do you really understand the gravity of
Muhammad’s statement when he said, “I possess no power to guide you” or “to
bring you to the Right Path”? Is it not a
prophet’s duty to guide the congregation of God to the “Right Path”? Can you now depend on this man to guide you to salvation? Would it be wise for you to do so?

“When Banu Qurayza Jewish tribe was

the apostle confined them in Medina in
the quarter of al-Harith, a woman of B.

the market of Medina (which is still its
market today) and dug trenches in it.
Then he sent for them and STRUCK OFF THEIR HEADS in those trenches as they
were brought out to him in batches tying theirs both hands with their necks. This beheading went on until the apostle made an end of them. There were 600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900.

Apparently Muhammad himself worked on the digging of the trench into which the massacred Jews were to be thrown. But he (Muhammad) did not only take part in those preparations, the formulation of the text states but also participated himself in beading of at least two of the leading Jews.

slavery regarding their sale and
manumission; the third, to ransom
them in exchange for goods or
prisoners; and fourth, to show favor
to them and pardon them. Allah, the

those who deny the Truth then
strike their necks’ (Surah 47:4).”

Fool fooling fools
bad atheists!! Why do atheists love calling people fools ? And you atheists always claims to be wise ?

Romans 1:22
“Professing to be wise they became
fools”

Satan is fooling you guys, making you believe lies just as he did to Eve, I've said this before ;Another reason for rejecting God (choosing atheism), is a willing acceptance of satanic deception.
The angel Lucifer fell and became Satan (“adversary”) due to his desire to supplant God. This was Lucifer’s single-minded obsession. He not only rejected God by attempting to supplant Him, but he urged humans to do likewise. Satan urged Eve to choose against God for her own self-fulfilment:

Genesis 3:1-5
He said to the woman, “Did God actually
say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the
garden’?” And the woman said to the
serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the
trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You
shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that
is in the midst of the garden, neither
shall you touch it, lest you die.’” But the
serpent said to the woman, “You will not
surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

The tactic is clear: firstly, question God’s
statements, then, contradict God’s
statements and, finally, urge rebellion in seeking equality with God.

This manifests in atheists as

1. Questioning whether there is a God to
make statements in the first place, so
God did not say anything.
2. Contradicting the statements said to
have been spoken by God.
3. Seeking equality with God by replacing God with the self.

This satanic deception appeals strongly
to atheists as it bolsters two of their
desired delusions:1) absolute autonomy
; being free to do as they please, and 2)
the lack of ultimate accountability;
there are no eternal consequences for
doing as they please.

The koran even proclaims--do not let Hatred for a people lead you towards injustice

War is only allowed in islam in the case of defense not offense
This is a lie. Beheading in Islam is not a new
phenomenon by any means. It is as old
as Islam. Muslims get their motivation to behead their victims from the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 8:12: “When your Lord
revealed to the angels: I am with you,
therefore make firm those who
believe. I will cast terror into the
hearts of those who disbelieve.
Therefore STRIKES OFF THEIR HEADS and strike off every fingertip of
them.” (Shakir)

Surah 8:67: “It is not for any Prophet
to have captives until he hath made
slaughter in the land.” (Pickthall)

Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Islam.
The Qur’an is the constitution of Saudi
Arabia. Islamic Sharia laws are
formulated from the Qur’an and Hadiths which permit beheadings of both the infidels and criminals.

Surah 73:1-2: “O you wrapped in garments (i.e. Prophet Muhammad)! STAND (TO PRAY ) ALL NIGHT , except a little.” (Hilali-Khan)

However, the above two verses are
abrogated by the last verse of the very
same Surah:

Surah 73:20: “Verily, your Lord knows
that you do stand (to pray at night) a
little less than two-thirds of the night,

The directive to “Stand to pray all night,
except a little” in Surah 73:2 is
abrogated by Surah 73:20 – the last verse of the same Surah. But then it was
abrogated again by the implementation
of the five daily prayers. Thus, the
abrogator was abrogated.

For those trying hard to force contradictions into the Quran, when infact, there is none, Let me give you a little logic to ponder on, Allah(S.W.T) says "Will they not then meditate on the Qur'an? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a contradiction.", there are two ways to test if this statement is true, the first method is cumbersome, and that is by scrutinising the quran thouroughly, Alhamdulillah, all the alleged contradictions brought fourth by anti-islamist here on NL has been sent to the trash can by NL muslims. The second method is very simple, the word translated to "a contradiction" there is "ikhtilafan", now lets consider ikhtilafan as an entity not a word, which means we should write it as "many ikhtilifan" instead of "many a contradiction" implying we shouldn't see more than one ikhtilafan in the Quran, if we do, then that verse will be wrong, but surprisingly iktilafan appears just once, which is in that verse! ALLAHU AKBAR!!!
trash!!

Surah 6:115: “The word of your Lord
is complete, in truth and justice.
Nothing shall abrogate His words.
He is the Hearer, the
Omniscient.”

However, note the contradiction in Surah 2:106:
“Whatever verse we shall abrogate,
or cause (thee) to forget, we will
bring a better one than it, or one
like unto it. Dost thou not know that
God is almighty?” (Sale)

Why replace one verse with another if
they are similar. If the Qur’an is the
Word of God, should it not be perfect
from the start? How can one perfect
verse be better than another perfect
verse? So, how can Allah claim to
substitute his perfect verse(s) with
something better? How can a divinely
perfect revelation be improved upon?
The fact that some of its verses needed
to be replaced within a short period of
just 23 years – the time it took to
complete the Qur’an – proves that the
Qur’an’s claim to be a book for all time
and for all peoples is a lie. This means
some of Allah’s eternal words were
applicable for only a very short period
and not for all eternity as it is claimed.

lol..its not like that bro..the hadith is contradicting the Koaran

The hadith the result of human narration the koran is DEVINE

Which do we take the DEVINE statement or the human statement.?
many hadith give the same story, the whole hadith cannot be wrong.

like I said the koran is the furqan the criterion other books are not used to check the koran's authenticity but the koran to check other book's authenticity

And the koran stated in the verses that I have shown you that it is PERFECT and COMPLETE

So we cannot take the of a human narration over that of the Divine
muslims condemned the hadith when is not in their favour.

yes..do you have a problem with laying emphasis on a thing?

Like a teacher after delivering a lecture ask the student to pay attention on a particular topic..what's wrong with that bro?
and this..... “We used to recite a surah which
resembled in length and severity to
(Surah) Bara’at. I have, however,
forgotten it with the exception of this
which I remember out of it: ‘If there
were two valleys full of riches, for the
son of Adam, he would long for a
third valley and nothing would fill the
stomach of the son of Adam but
dust'”. Sahih Muslim, Vol. 2, p.501)

Here we see the evidence for a whole
chapter which is missing from the Quran.
These evidences from Islamic tradition
prove the fact that Quran is incomplete
and imperfect.

like I said earlier koran proclaims that muhammad(s) doesn't teach anything outside the tenets of the koran

What he wanted to reveal is just a clarification of some things in the koran or the person must fitting to succeed him after his death-still within the tenets of the koran
you mean muhammed wanted to write down something he has already wrote ? Something that will not lead the muslims astray? You are talking trash. You are talking as if you know more than muhammed.

funny you..by perfected it means THERE IS NOTHING MISSING IN IT...perfect is not only used in that context bro..that is why the ayah further state COMPLETED my favours...meaning that there is no verse that is missing in it...cause if a verse is missing it will mean the koran is imperfect and incomplete

Simply put ABSOLUTE
trash!!! What is it that muhammed waned to write that will not lead his followers astray ? Why will he died with such an important revelation ?

and the last Ayah of the Holy Quran was
this:
This day have I PERFECTED your religion for you,
completed my favor upon you, and have chosen
for you Islam as your religion-quran5:3

The last ayah of the koran clearly shows that the religion was perfected--can a thing be PERFECT without being COMPLETE?
do you know the meaning of perfected ? It mean to perfect what is imperfect to clean what is unclean , if the quran which you claims is from God (came down from heaven) does it mean in heaven the quran was not perfected ?
Christianity Etc › Re: What Sort Of New Year's Resolution Should A Christian Make? by malvisguy212: 9:32am On Jan 02, 2016
Why is it that we make New Year's
resolutions, but fail to keep them within
the first month of the new year? Some
will say that you lack the willpower.
Others have given up making New Year's resolutions altogether. Biblical speaking, the fact that we are not perfect indicate we will always lack the willpower to keep
Our new year resolution. If you are trying to do things
through your own will power, you will
find that there is no "power" in your own will. Only by abiding in Christ can we fulfill the will of God in our own lives.

Only one New Year's resolution is
required in life - following Jesus Christ. If you follow Him, all other resolutions can be accomplished by the power of His Spirit. May the Lord bless your year!

John 14:13
You can ask for anything in my name,
and I will do it, so that the Son can bring
glory to the Father.

grin...op nice one..but what you fail to understand is the koran proclaims that it is complete

--"And We have revealed the Book to you which
has clear explanation of EVERYTHING, and a
guidance, mercy and good news for those who
submit." (Qur'an 16:89)

---and another thing you fail to grab is we muslims see the koran as the FURQAN-that is the EVIDENCE OR CRITERION---hence the koran is used for verifying the autenticity of other book and NOTE THE OTHER WAY ROUND..

So when a thing goes contrary to the koran that thing is wrong not the KORAN

So please if you want to disprove the KORAN use the koran not another book narrated by a fellow human
by the time quran 16:89 was revealed, more verses were yet to be revealed, does it mean since quran 16:89 say the book was complete, no need to revealed others passages ? This hadith was clearly understood , muhammed wanted to write a documents that will guide the muslims not to go astray, he died with this revelation.

FORGOTTEN IT with the exception of this
which I remember out of it: ‘If there

Here we see the evidence for a whole
chapter which is missing from the Quran. These evidences from Islamic tradition prove the fact that Quran is incomplete and imperfect.

This also raises serious questions about
how the rest of the Quran can be trusted to be the true and complete revelation of the true God.

Sahih Muslim Book 13: 4016Ibn
Abbas reported: When Allah’s
Messenger (may peace be upon him)
was about to leave this world, there
were persons (around him) in his
house, ‘Umar b. al-Kbattab being one
of them. Allah’s Apostle (may peace
be upon him) said: Come, I MAY WRITE FOR YOU A DOCUMENTS ; YOU WOULD NOT GO ASTRAY AFTER THAT. Thereupon Umar said: Verily Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) is deeply
afflicted with pain. You have the
Qur’an with you. The Book of Allah is
sufficient for us. Those who were
present in the house differed. Some
of them said: Bring him (the writing
material) so that Allah’s Messenger
(may peace be upon him) may write a
document for you and you would
NEVER GO ASTRAY after him And some
among them said what ‘Umar had
(already) said. When they indulged in
nonsense and began to dispute in the
presence of Allah’s Messenger (may
peace be upon him), he said: Get up
(and go away) ‘Ubaidullah said: Ibn
Abbas used to say: THERE WAS A
HEAVY LOSS, INDEED A HEAVY LOSS,
that, due to their dispute and noise.
Allah’s Messenger (may peace be
upon him) COULD NOT WRITE (OR DICTATE) THE DOCUMENTS FOR THEM.

These Hadiths state one thing clearly,
which is that Mohammed died with a
revelation which he wanted to speak out but could not/did not. He wanted to give the Muslims something of importance which will keep them on the right path. But he could not write it because of the commotion around him. This revelation remains unspoken and unwritten and went to the grave with Mohammed. What does this say about the Quran?

So you mean to tell me, every single person in Jesus' time, was an aldutress ? Wow.

Lol obviously it's good moral behaviour to punish a aldutress as well no ? Why didn't Jesus also tell us to "let those without sin cast the stone first" when it came to every other sin. I'm sure a lot parents have lied in their lifetime, they probably still tell white lies here and there, and I'm sure they don't ask forgiveness for every lie. So why are they to spare not the rod then when you lie ? They are a sinner, you are a sinner. It's the exact same sin.
who was the woman accusers ?

Luke 11:46
"Woe to you as well, experts in the law!"
He replied. "You weigh men down with
heavy burdens, but you yourselves will
not lift a finger to lighten their load.
