SirWere:you mention how the isrealite killed the ammorite, so I say provide the chapter let us analyse it, know the root caused of the problem. |
SirWere:are you a christian ? provide the passage, let us analyst it. If you really understand the bible , you will know, who draw the first blood, the isrealite or the ammorite? |
Demmzy15:Alright. |
Demmzy15:lolz, you are even confuse, Paul was not even talking about his righteousness or unrighteousness, he was talking about the motive of this false preacher, and when he say" Christ is proclaim and I rejoice in that" it mean , forget their motive , (let discuss it later) focus on their message. To them that are without law, as without law, (BEING NOT WITHOUT LAW TO GOD, BUT UNDER THE LAW TO CHRIST,) that I might gain them that are without law.” Paul is a Jew, the Jews are under the mosaic law , how did Paul reach out to the Gentile ? He became a Gentile to reach the gospel to them. And in Galatians 5:13 he says, “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; ONLY USE NOT LIBERTY FOR AN OCCASION TO THE FLESH, but by love serve one another.” Paul’s liberty in his evangelism was not a freedom to serve the flesh in any way. Paul was always strict in regard to sin and he did not allow anything in his life that would bring the result of sin by spiritual carelessness. He would not become a glutton to reach other overeaters, he would not become a drug user to reach the addict, he would not become a drinker of alcohol to reach a drunk. |
Demmzy15:I see, you still do not get it, let me make it easy for you: Paul calls down a curse on bad preaching: Galatians1:8 “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed” Compear Galantians and the book of philipians, and then answer this question: What’s the difference? celebration in Philippians and cursing in Galatians? the answer to your question lies in the context. The points is this, the passage in philipians was talking about two group of preachers, the first preach in bad motive and the others preach in truth, he was not reffering to the motive of the two group, but the message they proclaimed, that why he say: "whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is PROCLAMED, and in that I rejoice" But some of the proclaimers are sinning as they proclaim, trying to afflict Paul by making him feel jealous that they are free while he is in prison. STILL ,Paul say "christ is proclaimed" through their bad motive. Concerning Romans 3, I repeat, IT'S RHETORICALL question: "What then? If some did not believe [If some were unfaithful], their unbelief [unfaithfulness] will not nullify the faithfulness of God, WILL IT?” Let me ask you, will God deny Himself because His people did not believe in Him ? Your Allah can deny himself ( as you indicate in your post ) But my God will NOT, God remain faithful to the isrealite even when they sunk in idolatry. Just in case you didn’t get his point, Paul follows up the rhetorical question in 3:3 with the powerful words of 3:4a: “MAY IT NEVER BE ! Rather, let God be found true, though EVERY MAN BE FOUND A LIAR .” The good news of the gospel is our “unfaithfulness” will not “nullify the faithfulness of God.” Even though David was an adulterer, a liar, and a murderer, God forgave him. If God can forgive David, He can forgive anybody! Do you need to be forgiven by God? Is there a sin in your life that you don’t think God could ever forgive you for? Please don’t let the enemy lie to you. If God can forgive David, He can forgive you and me. He only asks that we humbly come to Him, acknowledge our sin, and seek the forgiveness that He has made available in and through Christ. |
lexiconkabir:have you ever heard the phrase "do what I say but don't do what I do ?" that's what the passage is saying. Let me quote from verse 15-18. Philippians 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former proclaim Christ out of rivalry, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice There are tow lessons here: 1. Value the TRUTH of the gospel rather than the holiness of the preacher. 2.sometimes God will override someone poor motive to advance His caused. |
Demmzy15:NO Bro. Are you not educated ? Do you not see question mark on all the verses ? And in verse 9 Paul answer himself with 'a' resounding NO "IN NO WISE" can your unrighteousness bring out the righteousness of Allah ? The answer is YES ( because without evil no one will notice good ) if so , why are you condemned ? That is the rhetorical question Paul ask and he answer himself in verse 9. |

Demmzy15:the verse you quote is a rhetorical question Paul ask and he( Paul) went on an answer Himself. If my lie can bring out the glory of God , why did you still called me a lier ? Go back and read the whole context, and tell me if Paul is speaking about his personal unrighteousness? Is Paul trying to justify his unrighteousness by saying that it serves to show the righteousness of God? Here is the answer in verse 9: 9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; He says,"In no wise" rejecting the conclusion of the question he himself posed to the reader, and then goes on to imply that wrath will be inflicted upon the unrighteous. Obviously he is not justifying unrighteousness on the basis that it serves to highlight God's righteousness. Paul talk about his personal righteousness in verse 21: Romans 3 21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. Therefore, Paul cannot be speaking of his own personal unrighteousness, or the presumed wrath that would follow such a state. |
Appleyard:it true bro. Mary appear. |
Humblebloke:the Good thing is that NO one forced you to believe, its a choice, accept or reject. |
frosbel2:do you know the meaning of christian ? Do you know what it feel to be a christian? The christian life is like a man who have two dogs inside him, a white dog (good) and a black dog (evil). The one you are feeding the most is the one that is winning. John 15:6 Jesus say, "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned" The one proper use of the vine is to bear fruit; failing this, it is good for one other thing--fuel. Jesus took many of his principles directly from the Old Testament scripture: Ezekiel 15:1-5, "And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest? Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work? Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?" I believe this perfectly explained itself, without Jesus, we cannot be save. |

lexiconkabir:Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 12, Number 770: ....He will order the angels to take out of Hell those who worshipped none but Him alone. The angels will take them out by recognizing them from the traces of prostrations, for Allah has forbidden the (Hell) fire to eat away those traces. So they will come out of the Fire, it will eat away from the whole of the human body except the marks of the prostrations. At that time they will come out of the Fire as mere skeletons. The Water of Life will be poured on them and as a result they will grow like the seeds growing on the bank of flowing water…” First the hadith say"he will oder the angel to rescue those who worship Allah alone" what will people who worship Allah be doing in Hell ? Secondly the hadith say "Allah will forbid the fire to consume the mark of prostration " is the polytheists (trinitarians inclusive) now have the prostration mark on there forehead ? Thirdly the hadith say they will came out from the fire as 'mere skeletons' am sure you know God will not rescue sinners on hell, so it was the muslims who Allah is rescuing here. Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0349: “They (the angels) would recognise them in the Fire by the marks of prostration , for Hell-fire will devour everything (limb) of the sons of Adam except the marks of prostration. Allah has forbidden the fire to consume the marks of prostration. They will be taken out of the Fire having been burnt …” If the first hadith is a weak one am sure this one isn't. |
Brown47:James 5:14-15, "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: AND THE PRAYER OF THE FAITH SHALL SaVE THE SICK ," God says the prayer of faith shall save the sick. Whose faith? Well, certainly the one who comes to pray for you must be someone of faith. James 5:16, "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." The words “effectual” and “ fervent” are actually only one word in Greek. It comes from Greek word #1754,energeo, from which we get the word “energy.” It's talking about the energized prayer. The energetic prayer of a righteous man availeth much. |

emusmith:Jesus explained that the moral commandments were not to be followed merely to the letter of the law, but also to the intent of the law. So, it was not enough to abstain from adultery, but God required that one not even look on a woman with lust (Matthew 5:27-28). |

BAD NEWS. Have you ever had someone tell you “I’ve got bad news and I’ve got good news for you. Which do you want to hear first?” I usually like to hear the bad news first so that it gets better after that. The way the Bible is written, the bad news is usually presented first and only then comes the good news because the good news is meaningless until you first learn about the bad news and only then is the good news really good. So what is the bad news? The bad news is that our sins have separated us from a holy God (Isaiah 59:2) and that even our best efforts at good works are seen as filthy rags to God (Isaiah 64:6). The fact is, most people think that they’re a good person but Romans 3:10-12 says that we’re “all under sin” and “None is righteous, no, not one. No one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” Every single one of us falls far short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23) and the only thing we’ve earned are the wages of sin and that means death (Rom 6:23). Before we trusted in Christ “All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s wrath, just like everyone else” (Eph 2:3). That’s the bad news. Now, isn’t it time for some good news after all that? THE GOOD NEWS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT: In the days of ancient Israel, they had runners who brought bad news and good news and they could usually tell whether the runner had bad news or good by the way they were running (2nd Sam 18:27) and indeed, “good news refreshes the bones” (Prov 15:30b). God spoke through Isaiah the prophet and said Isaiah 40:9 “Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up,fear not; say to the cities of Judah,“Behold your God” God Himself declares again through Isaiah: Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns” The good news then is good news now; God brings salvation and to Him we owe our gratitude and praise. As a taste and a forerunner of the Messiah to come, Isaiah wrote something that Jesus would declare almost 800 years later, Isaiah 61:1“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound” THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST When an angel came to the shepherds in the field one night, “the angel said to them, Luke 2:10 “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people”. This was the “good news” prophesied to come by Isaiah. Jesus sat down in the synagogue once and fulfilled what is written in Isaiah 61:1 when He said Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” and then: Luke 4:20-21 “he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing” Luke 8:1 It was “Soon afterward he went on through cities and villages, proclaiming and bringing THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. And the twelve were with him”. With the long awaited Messiah, Jesus Christ, this Scripture was fulfilled, but now what? THE GOOD NEWS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT: Up until Jesus arrived and John the Baptist’s ministry ended, Jesus said, Luke 16:16 “The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it” but now, with Jesus’ arrival, the good news was to be taken to all the world (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 1: . The gospel or the good news, for they are one and the same, was spreading, for example, “when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women” (Acts 8:12). The word “gospel” is the translation of the Greek word “evangelion” (ev or eu meaning “good” and angelion meaning “message”) so the good news is the gospel and the gospel is the good news. It is a good message for bad people who can be forgiven by a good God.CONCLUSION The good news or the gospel is not received well if a person doesn’t hear the bad news first and that is that they have the wrath of God on them if they disbelieve in Jesus (John 3:3b). The bad news makes the good news (the gospel) all the greater to hear. This is the gospel, just as Isaiah and Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:18-19). |
plaetton:Mr pleatton. You did Good my friend. |
johnydon22:hypocrite. According to atheists morality , they are right , why will a christian condemned what is right for some people ? |
Jozzy4:Your view of Chiyl is attached to the 'birth pains' as it fits your view of Jesus being created here in Proverbs 8. I have no problem with the 'birth pain' but has it occurred to you that what you are indicating here is that " God gave birth to Jesus in PAIN?" have you ask your self , were chiyl is used else were in the bible ? Micah 1:12 12 For the inhabitant of a] ">Maroth BECOMES WEAK waiting for good, Because a calamity has come down from the LORD To the gate of Jerusalem. Yes, you see what you are doing here ? Comparing the nature of God and human, would you say God is weak too because chiyl is used in proverb 8 ? NO, so you should focus on proverb 8:22 which say “Producer.” LXXVg, “who created”; but in vs 22 Vg reads, “POSSESSOR.” Wisdom was NOT created, Jesus began to exist here on earth, when was this ? In the beginning (John 1:1) when He MADE his dwellings on flesh. Colossians 1.Jesus is the wisdom of God personified As a matter of fact, wisdom has no beginning. So my friend, chiyl is not only used for birth , sometimes it was used for "THOUGHT" and "EVENT". Proverb 8 , chily was used for thought. |
Jozzy4:compear proverb 8:24 with Genesis 1:2, it say: Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. The earth was formless and empty ,why ? Because the earth was NOT frame yet by the WORD (Jesus) , how the earth BEGAN to exist ? The answer is in Hebrew 11:3 " By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible." The word was God,that was made flesh (john1:1) . Proverb 8:24 talk about Jesus pre-existence, men only BEGAN to see Him when He was given birth to. NO one has ever see Jesus in His true NATURE. When I say given birth to I mean , when the father speak the word at his command. |
johnydon22:alright, be still. |
johnydon22:answer this question: Why will men invent a 'God' that set an uphill task on them on how to attain Holiness? Read other religion way of salvation, others religion say salvation is by human effort meaning I just need to do Good and ignore God grace, BUT in Christianity, it say" our holiness is as filty in God eyes" meaning we need to DO MORE. Does it look like invented God ? |
johnydon22:I create this thread , not that I am not convinced in my belief in God, I was only trying as much as I can to guide people who satan want to used you and your cohorts to deceive the innocent. This is the last days, and just as the bible say, in the last days, men will fall , and many of the believers will depart the faith. |

The verse is very clear and unambiguous, Paul said if God is exalted through his lies why is he judge as a sinner? No need for all this bogus claims, he claimed he lied to exalt god shikena!
