I forget the verse in the quran that talk about good deed, on the day of judgment, if your good deed surpasses your bad deed, you will go to paradise were there is everlasting plassure and enjoyment, this is wrong, how can God judge you base on your good deed? Let me explain how God work salvation in the old testament before jesus. Number 21:4-9.
The children of israel sinned against God, God send snake to bite them, but when the ask for forgiveness , God did not just remove the snake, he told moses to made a bronze snake and put it on a pole. Then when anyone who was bitten by the snake looked to the bronze snake will be save.jesus liken himself as the snake[john 3:14]

then it is wrong for a muslim to invoke the peace and blessing of God upon a prophet who is nearer to the same God you are praying to.
