BabaRamota1980:I don't think I will fall victim of that cos I am a Hausa man. Hope you get that one right. |
chiefolododo:Yes but not all of them know that... That was how shagamu killings rdprisal was hatched without anybody knowing. And the worst part of it is that the hausas don't differentiate southerners when they want to retaliate. They attack any non-hausa speaking human they see. |
Six days have gone now since the broke out of deadly clash between Hausa traders and their Yoruba hosts in Ile-Ife town of Osun state without any northern leader speaking on the matter, even for the sake of averting reprisals in the north. This culture of silence and timidity being exhibited by leaders in the north was what gave Boko Haram sect the chance to grow feather without anybody making any effort to tame it until after it went out of hand. Anybody who knows north would tell you that they don't allow provocation on their members to go scot free without any form of retaliation. This made me believe that something must be in the offing amidst this silence. I appeal to the leaders in the north to as a matter of necessity, goto the media and sympathize with the people who lost their lives and assure northerners living anywhere in Nigeria of your kind commitment to defend their interests before they feel abandoned and take laws into their hands and that's when you will see them running up and down after the damage has already being done. I choose to write this piece proactively considering the amount of agitation coming from northerners on the social media to this effect. My name is malware, I am just trying to save lives. |
BRAZIL’S PRESIDENT MICHEL Temer blames bad vibes and even ghosts for driving him from his official residence in the capital Brasilia. Temer surprised the nation this week with the revelation that he has decamped from the Alvorada Palace and moved with his former beauty queen wife and their seven-year-old son down the road to the smaller vice presidential residence. The modernist Alvorada, which means Dawn and was designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, would be a dream home for many. It has a huge pool, football field, chapel, medical center and vast lawn. But Temer, 76, and his 33-year-old wife Marcela, find the cavernous, glass-fronted building spooky. “I felt something strange there. I wasn’t able to sleep right from the first night. The energy wasn’t good,” Temer was quoted as saying by Veja. “Marcela felt the same thing. Only (their son) Michelzinho, who went running from one end to the other, liked it.” “We even started to wonder: could there be ghosts?” he reportedly quipped to Veja. ‘Bring in the priest’ According to a report in Globo newspaper, Marcela Temer brought in a priest to attempt to drive out any evil spirits, but to no avail. The Temers then moved to the still luxurious but smaller Jaburu Palace nearby. Temer knows it well: this was his residence when he served as vice president until last year when then president Dilma Rousseff was impeached for breaking budget accounting laws. That automatically put Temer in the top job and in the Alvorada. No one filled his vacant vice presidential post, however, meaning he can now take his pick of palaces. The house moving comes in the middle of a severe political crisis for Brazil, with many of Temer’s allies facing potential corruption probes. The president himself is battling a case in the electoral court where he is accused of having benefited from illegal donations when he and Rousseff ran together in 2014. http://www.thejournal.ie/brazil-ghosts-president-3283702-Mar2017/ |
This move by Fayose has been preempted since the emergence of that second lady who all of a sudden dragged in Kaduna state govt into the scandal. It is glaring that the victim, Sulaiman or his friend, Fayose have hired a third person, the second lady to be adding viruses or jargons if you like to the whole issue, indicting Kaduna state government in the process. It baffles me when I see people trying to play with other people's intelligence. This is not a smart one enthusiasts. |

The Nigerian Customs Service will today commence the verification of all vehicles in the country to track those with genuine from fake documents. In a circular released early this month, the Comptroller-General of Customs, retired Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali, approved a grace period of one month - 13th March to - 12th April - for owners of all vehicles in the country whose customs duty had not been paid to make the payment. The service advised all motor dealers and private owners of such vehicles to visit the nearest customs office nationwide to verify and pay the appropriate duty on them. The order by the customs authorities has, however generated serious controversy among vehicle owners and other stakeholders. The Senate has also called for the suspension of the exercise and summoned the Customs boss, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) to appear before it tomorrow, Tuesday. The NCS is, however insisting on its stand but with 60 percent duty rebate on all vehicles that are of 2015 model and below. After the deadline, the NCS said it would mount an aggressive anti-smuggling operation, not only at the borders but all roads nationwide to impound any vehicle that did not have appropriate duty papers and prosecute its owner. “For the avoidance of doubt, all private car owners who are not sure of the authenticity of their vehicles’ customs documents can also approach the zonal offices to verify their status with a view to complying with the provision of the law,” the statement concluded. Meanwhile, a group called Vehicle Owners Association of Nigeria (VOAN) has issued a seven days’ ultimatum to the Nigerian Customs Service to withdraw the directive that all vehicles whose customs duty have not been paid to have that done within one month. The group, in a letter to the Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs Service through its solicitor, Tolu Babaleye, said the policy was ill-timed, ill-conceived and directed at the wrong set of people in the country, adding that it would unleash hardship on vehicle owners and also pit the government against the general public. The group said the buck of failure to pay customs duty on imported vehicles should not be laid on the innocent vehicle owners but rather the dealers who imported those vehicles should be held responsible for circumventing customs checks “probably through the connivance of some customs officers.” http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/business/customs-commences-vehicles-duty-verification-today/188883.html

See this mumu man. All these things are happening because you said don't kill Christians, are the alleged hookers not Christians? Abi na fulani herdsmen forced you to go and buy a house for kpetus? You can only cry foul if it were Muslim hookers who laid the allegations. My advice to you is just stop denying and go and enjoy that ukwu while it lasts. |

I once worked with a Chinese company, the pay was good, like 250k a month but the relationship was synonymous to master-slave one, so I quit. Chinese people are workaholics and non-religious set of people. I remember while there, a Christian colleague wanted to travel for Xmas and his supervisor denied him permission. He even asked him, if we sack you Jesus give you job? |
Icecream4U:That's where I am coming from. Once you start thinking deep, you'll begin to doubt religion. |

feran15:But it seems like programming changes people's religious thinking completely |
Oluwaseun Osewa, Mark Zuckerberg and Bill gates, owners of Nairaland, Facebook and Microsoft respectively are all successful programmers and atheists. This left me wondering whether one has to be an atheist to become a successful programmer. |
