the big question here is, is this award for his speeches or achievements?
he has only given americans hope through his endless speeches and nothing is in action yet hence i say such awards shld wait.

Well, he didn't tell them to give him the award did he?, the point is you folks are too impatient for a president that hasn't even stayed up to One Year in Office. He can't cleanse the land that George bush took 8 years to destroy in 9 months. He's human like every one else and things ought to be worse knowing the fact he's a black man so you don't expect him to cleanse the dirt in 9 months, sorry sir it doesn't work like that. The Nobel Prize is given to people who tries so hard to establish peace and harmony which is exactly what Obama did during the election, he brought oneness and broke racial barriers that nobody expected to be broken especially so soon. Why don't enemies of progresses like you go ont he net and do some research about the prize before you make a fool of yourself on the internet. By the way the people voted for Barack Obama, he didn't vote for himself.
