Amazing how Nigerians are criticizing Obama here, what has your useless president done in the last 3 years? Obama is doing a wonderful job compare to his predecessor. He averted the great depression and the housing market is rebounding, He put in place plan to mitigate and renegotiate housing loan. I am a beneficiary of the Obama housing deal; I was able to get my loan re-modify. Now I am saving $500 a month.

I am puzzled that the attorney general of Nigeria a nation that is trying to curtail corruption will make such and astounding statement.

The apparent issues that are confronting the police for decades, has to do with lack of resources, housing, training and education.
Not until those issues are addressed we will be here 20 years from now and still talking of how ineffective our police force is.

Nigerians were crying for not been invited to the G8 summit.

It’s time we wake up; face the issues confronting us and stop been paranoid about irrelevant issues.  Amazing how we want to be the giant of Africa again and we can’t even find a resolution to Niger delta crisis.

Obama visiting Nigeria does not eradicate the poverty and illiteracy in Nigeria.  The problem that most impoverished Nigerian region is having now will still be apparent after his visitation.  It’s time to saddle up and stop crying and fix our own house.

Back-off Cement or face the Consequences, Dangote tells Yar’Adua
A fresh offensive to bring down the price of cement has already hit a snag as the powerful cement cartel led by billionaire business magnate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote are digging trenches ahead of what promises to be an imminent showdown with President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua over a planned move to grant more cement import licenses to importers outside the main industry cartel.
“If the government grants licenses to people to import cement, we’ll close down our factories and lay-off workers; and when that happens, the domestic production capacity will reduce drastically; supply will still not match demand and the prices will even sky-rocket further. Michael Jackson signed a will in 2002 providing for his children and his mom, but leaving nothing to daddy Joe -- this according to the Wall Street Journal.

As we reported yesterday, attorney John Branca has the will and plans to file it with the court within 30 days of the singer's death. According to the will, Jackson reportedly left his estate -- estimated at $1 billion -- to his mother, three children and one or more charities.

As for why Joe was left out -- Jackson has said during his childhood his father beat him.

Osun State governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has taken Col. Tony Nyiam, a key player in the aborted Gideon Orkar-led coup of April 1990, to the cleaners over the latter’s recent comments in an interview recently granted a national daily.

There is no iota of truth associated to this story. Ayo Ehindero is in good shape and was not in trouble for any reason. The Ehindero’s are too smart and intelligent to get caught up in conspiracy or notorious activities.

As you can continue to see like I have been saying for a very long time, cases are won on facts and not just media publications.

I am not against people voicing their opinion, we are all entitled to speak freely and associate freely.  My point is that Nigerian press is not credible and we should take any story published with an ounce of salt.

Let’s be reasonable and logical when crucifying people.  Even though we have produced mass corrupt leaders and officials, I strongly believed there are some innocent hard working Nigerian’s out there that will not steal from the jar of honey.
