Foreign Affairs / Re: Should Obama Help Pay Off Clitons $20 Million Debt? by Mamajama(m): 9:00pm On May 13, 2008
Clinton comes with too many baggage that goes against Obama Slogan of Change. We need someone that will be positive, honest and trustworth
Foreign Affairs / Re: Should Obama Help Pay Off Clitons $20 Million Debt? by Mamajama(m): 8:59pm On May 13, 2008
Dude do you think this people just became a governor over night? Look up their accomplishments online and you will see why they were both elected as governor.

Beside Chuck Haggle is one of the most respected GOP candidates in America today. May will remember him for criticizing bush on his foreign police and beside he is a war VET that will booster OBama’s foreign policy

BigB1 if you know anything about Americans, you will know that they are very forgiving and are always ready to move on. If Obama picks another dynamic, charismatic white female governor, people will forget about Clinton in a second
Foreign Affairs / Re: Should Obama Help Pay Off Clitons $20 Million Debt? by Mamajama(m): 8:12pm On May 13, 2008
I agree with uniting the party, but I seriously don’t think Obama needs Clinton as much as the press is presuming. She signify destruction, deception and “do anything to Win”

Obama can do just fine with another white feisty female like Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius from Ohio. Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm or even Chuck haggle that is retiring from the GOP

She incurred the debt and she should pay up.
Foreign Affairs / Should Obama Help Pay Off Clitons $20 Million Debt? by Mamajama(m): 7:40pm On May 13, 2008
I personnel think Obama should not help fund her debt, since she was defiant and wanted to continue the race she should pay the bill from the $100 Million her and her husband have raised since living the white house.

I as a donor will stop contributing to Obama camp if he assisted her in any way to pay off the debt.

What do you guys think?

Please do royal king of distruction and misinformation.

Politics / Re: How I Gave Bribe To Keyamo, Others - Kenny Martins by Mamajama(m): 5:35pm On May 08, 2008
I just find it amazing how many Nigerians always go on offense when they have been indicted.

Would we have known anything about this funds if it wasn't exposed by the whistle blower?

Now lets wait and see how the judicial system play its role as things unfolds
Politics / How I Gave Bribe To Keyamo, Others - Kenny Martins by Mamajama(m): 2:27pm On May 08, 2008
This revelation is shocking and sad at the same time. I am just curious to find out who is telling the truth on this issue?

What is your take on this issue as the drama unfolds?

NATIONAL Co-ordinator of Police Equipment Foundation (PEF), Chief Kenny Martins, has given details of how he was allegedly compelled by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro, to give N10 million and a jeep to Lagos lawyer, Festus Keyamo and his client, Godson Ewulum.

Martins, who spoke through his counsel, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, said the IGP allegedly presided over a meeting at Tanscorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, where it was agreed that he should give N10 million to Keyamo and Ewulum.

He also said that the allegation of N50 billion fraud in PEF arose after he refused to yield to alleged blackmail by Keyamo and Ewulum.

@naijaking1 if you can recall one time that Nigerian government took a corrective or preventive action before any disaster?

It's sad but its the truth, we don't act until a calamity or disaster befalls us. We need a leader with passion that is willing to take on the challenge to change this nation. so many things is wrong in Nigerian.

Today it is Iwendi tomorrow it might be someone close to you or I. God bless Nigeria

@ OsunAmazon I did not say he is associated with 419. I said the mortgage adjustable rate is a legalise way of defrauding the people.

This guy just pure gasoline on himself. watch out for IRS to investigate him.

How much is he making and how much is he paying in taxes?
Politics / Re: Cp Haz Iwendi Passes On! by Mamajama(m): 6:47pm On May 07, 2008
Encomium I disagree with your tribal remark. His tribe has nothing to do with the process at hand, and is the current IG not an IGBO man?

He just can't authorize sending someone abroad for treatment without the proper approval.

Haz death is sad, pathetic and that just shows you how desperate we need a leader with vision to modernise the current health system in Nigeria

I seriously don't see republican winning another term,, and again I might be wrong,  no one thought BUSH was going to win as well.

I am just ready for Obam to be the nominee for the democrates and let the race begin
Properties / Re: Multimillionaire Brother Evicted From His Home In DC by Mamajama(m): 6:15pm On May 07, 2008
i am just curious as to why he didn't sell one of his cars? and again him alone knows why he refused to pay the mortgage.

This mortgage meltdown is nothing but legalise 419 so many families have been displaced by all this illegal lenders.

As funny as this may look, i seriously think its sad and disgusting.
Politics / Re: Is It Over For Hillary Clinton? by Mamajama(m): 6:11pm On May 07, 2008
BigB1 stick to Nigerian politics my friend. lol grin grin

There are some die hard republicans or rednecks that will never vote for a democratic candidate even if you put them on frying pan.
Politics / Re: Iwendi: Police Introduce Compulsory Medical Check For Officers by Mamajama(m): 5:04pm On May 07, 2008
People please let’s be careful how we criticize people on this forum. Mr. Okiro means well for the senior police officers by suggesting they go on mandatory medical check ups.

I disagree with the notion of them funding the bill or cost of the entire trip. This is where the government needs to step in play with some kind of allowance, compensation or build state of the art hospitals for our civil servants and not just the police force.

The medical practitioner that diagnoses Haz in this case should be summoned to account for his testing. Was it lack of equipment or just medical malpractice?

We are all going to die some day but I know this man personally and in my opinion, this death is untimely.
Politics / Re: Is It Over For Hillary Clinton? by Mamajama(m): 3:09pm On May 07, 2008
This math does not add up for Hillary. Her whole campaign has been promogated by false and selfish ambition to return to the white house. there were new revelations this morning that she loan her camp another $6 Million. I wonder what happen to all the falsified funds she said she raised after she won Pennsylvania?

This is the best time for her to drop and let the Obama crusade carry on

Olukemi, widow of the late Kaduna State Commisioner of Police, Haz Iwendi, on Tuesday gave graphic details of how her husband went into coma for about five days at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika, Zaria before his demise on Monday.

Also, scores of sympathisers besieged the Police House residence of Iwendi, located at Angwan Rimi GRA to pay their condolences.

However, the Inspector-General of Police, Mike Okiro, regretted that Iwendi passed on at a point when the police authorities had already completed the formal arrangements to fly him to Germany for further treatment.

Sobbing profusely, Olukemi told reporters, “He complained of slight body pain on the 30th of April, 2008 and demanded the attention of his medical doctor at home but when the condition got worse he was referred to the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna for proper medical check up.

After the medical examination, nothing was discovered and he was referred to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika, Zaria, for another round of medical examination. However, at about 4 pm that day, he lost consciousness and went into coma. He was in that situation till 6 pm on Monday 5th May, 2008 when he gave up the ghost. The doctor’s diagnosis indicated stroke.”

Travel / African Air Crash Kills 75; 15 Survive by Mamajama(m): 7:11pm On Apr 15, 2008
(CNN) -- A plane crashed Tuesday shortly after taking off from the Goma airport in the Democratic Republic of Congo, killing at least 75 passengers and crew members on board, a foreign ministry spokesman said.

A plane burns Tuesday after crashing on takeoff in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Five of the crew and 10 passengers survived the crash, according to Antoine Ghonda, a Congolese lawmaker and former foreign minister.

A U.S. Embassy spokeswoman said two Americans were on board the plane, and it was unclear if they survived.

One engine failed as the plane was taking off, Ghonda said. He earlier had indicated the cabin may have been overloaded. He said weather was not a factor.

It's unclear exactly how

I found this article on BBC today, and I thought it was pretty interesting.

Since the inception of the current administration, 8 past governors have been indicted with no conviction

please what are your perception of this administration in comparison to his predecessors?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7341095.stm

It has been five years since the Nigerian government set up a new anti-corruption unit aimed at ending the country's reputation as one of the most corrupt on earth.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been both hailed for bringing in some high-profile arrests, and also derided as a tool for attacking the government's political enemies.
Politics / Re: How We Shared N10m Iyabo Obasanjo by Mamajama(m): 9:26pm On Apr 11, 2008
Exactly why I found it very reluctant to believed any story written by Nigerian press.

If in did the money was spent on the retreat in Ghana by 10 members for 4 days.

Why are we not hearing about the names of the other members?

Does anyone knows what the average hotel nightly rate for that hotel is multiply by 10 people over 4 days?

what % of 300 Million the minister is been accused of squandering is this 10 million?

Just like someone said, this woman is been convicted in the court of public opinion because of all the false publication the press are printing. and because she is OBJs daughter

Who orchestrated this story from get go?
Politics / Re: Iyabo Obasanjo Has Disappeared! by Mamajama(m): 8:32pm On Apr 10, 2008
Member of the senate are entitled to have a hearing on any misappropriation of funds, was how was ETTEH forced to resigned? was she ever indicted in any court of law?
Politics / Re: Iyabo Obasanjo Has Disappeared! by Mamajama(m): 3:17pm On Apr 10, 2008
So I am glad she is coming out to disclaim this stupid media propaganda. I wonder when the Nigerian press will be held accountable to honesty and integrity in their nefarious stories?

I read Iyabo was cleared of any wrong doing by the senate and yet she is already convicted in the court of public opinion because of all the false image the press is portraying of her.

Are we not in a democratic government where everyone is innocent until proven guilty?

I love Nigerian Spin doctors media. I strongly do not see any credibility to this story. It is amazing how media are able to find their information when one is link to corruption or rumors.

Next they will publish Obasonjo sold Nigeria to China

Defense Attorney:
Will you please state your age?

Little Old Lady:
I am 86 years old.

Defense Attorney:
Will you tell us, in your own words, what happened the night of April 1st?

Little Old Lady:
There I was, sitting there in my swing on my front porch on a warm spring evening,
when a young man comes creeping up on the porch and sat down beside me.

Defense Attorney:
Did you know him?

Little Old Lady:
No, but he sure was friendly.

Defense Attorney:
What happened after he sat down?

Little Old Lady:
He started to rub my thigh.

Defense Attorney:
Did you stop him?

Little Old Lady:
No, I didn't stop him.

Defense Attorney:
Why not?

Little Old Lady:
It felt good. Nobody had done that since my Albert died some 30 years ago.

Defense Attorney:
What happened next?

Little Old Lady:
He began to rub my breasts.

Defense Attorney:
Did you stop him then?

Little Old Lady:
No, I did not stop him.

Defense Attorney:
Why not?

Little Old Lady:
His rubbing made me feel all alive and excited. I haven't felt that good in years!

Defense Attorney:
What happened next?

Little Old Lady:
Well, by then, I was feeling so 'spicy' that I just laid down and told him
'Take me, young man. Take me now!'

Defense Attorney:
Did he take you?

Little Old Lady:
Hell, no! He just yelled, 'April Fool!' And that's when I shot him, the little bastard
