When will IBB be charge to court? he defies court orders to appear before a panel. When will he be compelled to pay for his atrocities? |
Politics / Ibb, Dele Giwa & I by Mamajama(m): 1:23am On Aug 11, 2008 |
He threw a verbal missile that caught the military on the wrong side in 1986 during the regime of ex-military president, General Ibrahim Babangida. And like a wounded lion, the military ensured he was gagged, caged and, possibly, taken out of circulation. Thus began his long, lonely and tortuous journey to the valley of joblessness, abandoned by his contemporaries and superiors who opted not to dine with him, even with a long spoon. Now, he parades an amazing and unpleasant record of being suspended from office, recalled and, thereafter, dismissed twice from the Nigeria Police Force. At the time I was sacked from the police force, there was no Police Service Commission, no National Assembly. It was the Armed Forces Ruling Council [AFRC]. There was this decree 17 of 1985 promulgated and signed by General Babangida where you can be retired in the public interest without reason and you cannot challenge the matter in court. That was what they used on me and everybody they wanted to deal with. Babangida had the power of life and death over Mamman Vasta and every other person including Alozie Ogugbuaja. But I was lucky to survive. They planted a bomb in my residence at No. 19 Oba Akinjobi street, GRA, Ikeja Lagos on October 16, 1986, but a police bomb disposal team led by one Balogun who is now a DCP and O/C Police Bomb Squad, came and detonated the bomb at about 1.am. http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/powergame/2008/aug/10/powergame-10-08-2008-001.htm |
Politics / Re: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by Mamajama(m): 3:11pm On Aug 07, 2008 |
QUOATE The Guardian yesterday, Afenifere wondered why the current Inspector-General of Police, Mike Okiro, was not affected if really the reason for the demotion was that the affected officers were "promoted out of rank." "It is on record that he (Okiro) was promoted from Commissioner of Police (CP) to Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) without ever being an Assistant Inspector-General (AIG). Even his confirmation as IG bypassed (Ogbonnaya) Onovo who was senior to him," Afenifere said. Can someone ask the police service commission why Okiro was promoted over Onovo? http://www.nigeriamasterweb.com/paperfrmes.html |
Politics / Re: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by Mamajama(m): 7:24pm On Aug 06, 2008 |
It's sad to see Nigerians accept this type of injustice. How can a service commission that was set up in April 15th decide on the promotion that was instituted before they were commissioned? This is personal vendetta and we all know. AS for you BIGB1 I was on vacation sipping Bahama mama with sexy seductive Brazilians. I choose not to waste my time with Nigerian politics any more because that country is hopeless and does not know how to credit hard working citizens. Can we go back in history and revert the promotion of BABANGIDA and his crooks to general? |
Politics / Re: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by Mamajama(m): 6:44pm On Aug 06, 2008 |
@ goggoji well said, if we can all recalled, BABANGIDA promoted himself from major general to general of the Nigerian Army. Was due process followed? Who are all this politicians deceiving? RIbadu steps on many toes and one of the toes he stepped on was TAFA BALOGUN OKIRO is TAFA BOY and they will do anything to ridicule RIBADU. @BIGB1 the best is yet to come. Stay tune as OkiRO and Yar Adull are setting themselves up for distruction. Do you also know yar Adua Approved the NIPS course for Ribadu only to approved his demotion in less than 3 months to his graduation. The 9 months Ribadu spent in Jos was a waste because anyone under the rank of DCP is not qualified to attend those courses. @BigB1 just stay tune as the drama unfolds, Ribadu will have the last laugh FYI I stopped participating in this forum mealy because of clowns like BIGB1 who thinks the best thing Nigerian ever saw was IBB AKA toothless general |
Politics / Re: I Conducted The Most Credible Election– IBB by Mamajama(m): 4:04pm On Jul 28, 2008 |
@BIGB1 this is justice for you?. How can a court strike out a suit that is suppose to compel someone to account for how the money realised was spent? I wonder how much the judge in this case was bribed to give this verdict? stop talking about IBB your father as if he is all Innocent, the man belong to the tribe of SKUNKS. If only we can prosecute and expose all his shady deals, we will hang him with his balls. http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2008072814431468 |

When the cat is not around the mouse will come out to play. If only Ribadu was left alone to investigate and prosecute this toothless general. We all would have been saved from this masquerade |
Politics / In Germany, Obama Calls For World To Stand As One by Mamajama(m): 8:05pm On Jul 24, 2008 |
This man is amazing and I strongly think he is unstoppable now. If anyone witness his peach today in Germany you will know he is the true calling. BERLIN, Germany (CNN) -- Standing before a massive crowd in a city that once symbolized division, Sen. Barack Obama on Thursday warned about the dangers of allowing new walls to come between the United States and its allies. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/07/24/obama.speech/index.html |

Good morning and lets hear your assessment of the show last night. Was that a good depiction of blacks in America? Some of the comments by females on that show were appalling and sadistic. Do blacks in America have the opportunity to become what ever they want to be or we are full of excuses? http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2008/black.in.america/ |

Okiro is right in this instance but a leader must not show any sign of weakness. We need good legislation to compel people to register SIM cards with a valid ID card. |
Politics / Re: Finally, Efcc Launched An Intense Manhunt For Bode George by Mamajama(m): 2:49pm On Jul 23, 2008 |
A former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, South, Chief Olabode George, on Tuesday, said he had not fled the country to evade arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. George is currently abroad and there have been insinuations that he had left the country for fear that the EFCC might arrest him over the alleged N84m financial improprieties at the Nigerian Ports Authority during his tenure as chairman of the authority. The reports indicated that the Chairman of the EFCC, Mrs. Farida Waziri, was bent on reopening some high-profile corruption cases, including the one involving the NPA and that George might be picked up. But speaking with our correspondent on the telephone from London on Tuesday, George said he was not afraid of the EFCC and would never flee his country for fear of arrest. He added that since he travelled abroad, he had been in constant touch with home and that the EFCC had not invited him in connection with any matter. He said, “I consider it an insult when people insinuate that I fled the country to avoid being arrested. “With my stature, level and age, can I be running away from the law of my country? I will run away for what and for whom? Such talk is balderdash. It is nonsensical. “If the EFCC has any matter to clear with me, it will invite me. The EFCC has not invited me and has no plan to arrest me. “So, why will I run away from my fatherland? What kind of nonsense are they spreading about me? Is it an offence to serve ones country? This campaign of calumny is becoming unbearable.” George also accused an official of the EFCC and a Lagos-based lawyer (names withheld) of spreading the tale that he had fled the country. He said that he was already making preparations to return to the country next week. http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art200807232402642 I agree with Bode on this one, if you want the man, invite him for questioning. |

Prosecute IBB for all his crimes and if found wanting and looting. Lets hand his saggy balls on coconut tree. Then go after any public official, that to me in justice serve. Amazing how this BUSH boy BIGB1 comes here and preach but publicly condemn RIBADU and OBJ for selective justice. Please tell us what vested interest do you have in your fathers ill gotten wealth that makes you think the man is clean as a whistle? |

Politics / Reps Query Ig : Over Payment Of N1.2bn To It Consultant by Mamajama(m): 3:02pm On Jul 22, 2008 |
Should applicant to the Nigerian police force be compelled to pay a #2000 application fee? What purpose does it serve a nation that does not have a unique identifier like social security to embark on IT recruitment? How can we sort out the enemy of the state from law abiding citizens with good intentions? This story is appalling http://www.newnigeriannews.com/cover_1.htm |
Politics / Re: Finally, Efcc Launched An Intense Manhunt For Bode George by Mamajama(m): 2:56pm On Jul 22, 2008 |
@BIGB1 you need to stop spreading this fake crusade of patriotism and professionalism of EFCC. Charity they said begins at home and if Nigeria must move forward and if we want transparency, equality and honesty. Then we must try BABANGIDA for the $12 billion gulf oil windfall. Not until this evil genius comes out and tell the whole world why he declined to honor the OKIGBO and OPUTA panel indictment. WAZIRI AND YAR ADULL can camouflage and go after all this small fishes in the ocean. But the root cause of corruption in Nigerian must be made accountable at all cost. IBB should be summoned with immediate effect to answer all the pending questions |

Big B1: It's this kind of misleading information that you are so quick to published to discredit RIBADU that makes me called you the greatest fool of all times in Nigeria. No one is saying Alao Akala is clean, but look at your source for Christ sake? ODILI REPORT? lol Please provide a link to a news paper where RIBADU came out and gave Alao Akala a clean bill to contest the election? Does RIbadu has the power to stop any Nigerians from contesting the election or the Tribunal does? Another question for you Bush man BIGB1. Does Alao Akala has the constitutional right to prevent the state House of Assembly from doing their elective services? if so, why didnt all the annulled elected governors that were impeached used the same power ? |
Politics / Re: Newyorker Derails Obama Presidency by Mamajama(m): 5:39pm On Jul 14, 2008 |
This cover depiction of Obama and his wife is tasteless and should be repudiated. The false portrayal of Obama and his wife a scholar and a well respected candidate is bias. Republican has been trying without any success by depicting Obama as a Muslim. This kind of fear tactics will backfire and will only make Obama more likeable among swing voters. |

Politics / Re: Teachers Strike Enters Second Week In Nigeria by Mamajama(m): 9:57pm On Jul 07, 2008 |
debosky I totally disagree with you. for example the supreme court or the court of last resort has jurisdiction over local courts and appellate courts. The federal government had jurisdiction over local and state governments, any issue that can not be resolved locally always goes to the federal level. The president is the chief executive of the land and all governors are subordinate to him. If they can not resolve issues arisen in their constituencies and states, then the president should call them to order. |

Who will you recommend for the job? IBB the greatest looter of all times? Yar Adua is a failure and that goes for all the Hausa's that have ever led this country. So dont expect too much from this segregation, lol |
Politics / Re: Teachers Strike Enters Second Week In Nigeria by Mamajama(m): 9:26pm On Jul 07, 2008 |
Any intelligent economist will tell you strike action should be the last action because it does no one good. It only paralyze the economy and scare investors. Take that to toothless general |
Politics / Re: Teachers Strike Enters Second Week In Nigeria by Mamajama(m): 9:14pm On Jul 07, 2008 |
Let me refrain from calling you the name that you are. You are here posting a column that was published over a year ago with no credibility? Is that the best you can get? Do you remember how many allegations were levied against Ehindero when he left office? Has he been indicted for any money laundry or mismanagement? My father always told me you can not buy a good name and money is not every thing in life. Let me take you back to Nigerian press 101. The only reason they attacked Ehindero with all their pessimistic inaccurate allegations were because he threatened and arrested couple media boys for falsifying news to sell paper while in office. Ehindero bough IG’s house for 400 Million Naira – False Ehindero stole 21 million naira - false Ehindero sold house to Ribadu - false Ehindero took interest of 15 million of police equipment founds for personal use – false Ehindero built 10 houses while in office as IGP – false Like I’ve told you in the past, Get your facts right before publishing fake stories with no credibility |
Politics / Re: Teachers Strike Enters Second Week In Nigeria by Mamajama(m): 8:18pm On Jul 07, 2008 |
What an idiot and a typical Hausa boy with drinking palmwine issues. Did Nigerian police engage in strike under Ehinderos watch? what concrete evidence do you have that Ehindero engage in stealing of public funds beside the nefarious allegations by people like you and the empty barking dogs called the Nigerian press. I've told you and will continue to tell you, please have your facts right before coming out and challenging a well informed mind. Who is benefiting from the a strike action? How does strike help instill confidence in investors and the economy? one does not need a Cambridge degree to know the devastating effects of strike on the economy. We all can recalled how many schools were closed due to strike actions under the wicked toothless genius of the 21st century AKA IBB Maradona |
Politics / Re: Teachers Strike Enters Second Week In Nigeria by Mamajama(m): 7:12pm On Jul 07, 2008 |

Politics / Re: Ogun State Governor, Chief Gbenga Daniel, Poisoned by Mamajama(m): 5:44pm On Jul 07, 2008 |
Maybe the governor should learn not to eat with people he does not know. I still doubt the validity of the story. Not just anyone can cook for a public official of the status of a governor. |
Politics / Re: What Obj Told Fani-kayode …about N6.5 Billion Safe Tower Project by Mamajama(m): 4:03pm On Jul 07, 2008 |
BIGB1 please stop insinuating and base your arguments on credible source or facts. This anti OBJ and RIbadu crusade only makes you look foolish and stupid to the highest authority. OBJ and RIbadu did more for Nigerians more than your toothless father IBB did in 20 years. We all know why you despise this people are because they shattered the dream of your father selfish political ambitions. ain't you the one that posted a thread when Fani Kayode was elected that he will do well? Mis-management of funds does not equate to corruption or embezzlement |
Politics / Re: Pls Who's Government Is Better, On A General Note. Obasanjo Or Yardua? by Mamajama(m): 5:24pm On Jul 05, 2008 |
As a leader you have 6 to 12 months to make changes and be effective or you will be classified as a failure. Yar Adua is a total failure in my opinion and as for my friend BIG B1 yes we can not call Yar Adua a thief because all his Hausa's general probably transfer some of their stolen wealth to his off shore bank account. |
Politics / Re: Fani-Kayode Blames Occultists For 2006 Plane Crashes by Mamajama(m): 5:33pm On Jul 02, 2008 |
If the reporters did use a microphone, please let them post it on youtube for everyone to see and make the assumption. Beside all the allegations and assertions that everyone is making on this thread. Has he been charged with any crime? we are so quick to convict people in the court of public opinion without getting all the facts. In a democratic government everyone is innocent until proven guilty isn't that what rule of law stands for? I refused to believed anything I am reading until he is charged with a crime and convicted |
Politics / Re: Fani-Kayode Blames Occultists For 2006 Plane Crashes by Mamajama(m): 5:17pm On Jul 02, 2008 |
Amazing how Nigerians are so quick to crucify someone based on what another journalist wrote. Was anyone there when Fani Kayode made the statement? Has this man been convicted of any crime? Why can't we let the so promogated rule of law take its course and then we can make our own assumption then. |
