Big B1:

Like him or hate him, the man purely represents one of the best leaders Nigeria has ever produced.

Too bad, he did not come back to set things right.

Wao. I won't even comment on that statement I will let other nairalanders finish you

Question please list 10 things that IBB gave Nigeria?
Politics / Re: I Annulled June 12 Election - Ibb by Mamajama(m): 6:20pm On Jun 24, 2008

Politics / Re: Ibb Did Not Annul June 12, Says Nwosu by Mamajama(m): 3:24pm On Jun 13, 2008
Amazing what won’t one see in Nigeria? Why is it taking this smelly mouth to come out and exonerate IBB?

How much did IBB gave him to buy his integrity? IF IBB who was the commander in Chief at the time did not annul the election, then please UNCLE Nwosu please tell us who was more powerful than the toothless general at the time?

BIGB1 we all remembered vividly how ABACHA and ADEDIBU died. pretty soon IBB will answer his calling.

There is only one thing IBB can not dribble and its death
Politics / Re: Adedibu Is Not To Be Blamed For Anything by Mamajama(m): 7:29pm On Jun 12, 2008
It is even written in the bible to pray for your enemies forgiveness.

His death does mo one any good and there is no reason people should be jubilating upon another mans death.

Such an action is inhumane and barbaric
Jokes Etc / Two Women In Heaven by Mamajama(m): 6:29pm On Jun 12, 2008
1st woman: Hi! My name is Wanda

2nd woman: Hi! My name is Sylvia. How'd you die?

1st woman: I froze to death.

2nd woman: How horrible!

1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I began
to get warm and sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death. What about
you?

2nd woman: I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my husband
was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. Instead, I
found him all by himself in the den watching tv.

1st woman: So, what happened?

2nd woman: I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere that I
started running all over the house looking. I ran up into the attic and
searched, and down into the basement. Then I went through every closet
and checked under the beds. I kept this up until I had looked
everywhere, and finally I became so exhausted that I just keeled over
with a heart attack and died.

1st woman: Too bad you didn't look in the freezer, we'd both Still
be alive.
Politics / The June 12 Election? by Mamajama(m): 3:23am On Jun 12, 2008
June 12 is here and what do we Nigerians remembered about the most popular day in modern Nigerian history?

Can we write a Nigerian history without remembering the evil that Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida bestowed on Nigerians/

IS IBb the root of Nigerian evil?
Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama Clinches Democratic Nomination by Mamajama(m): 10:04pm On Jun 09, 2008

Politics / Re: Iyabo Obansanjo Is Innocent by Mamajama(m): 10:02pm On Jun 09, 2008
Amazing they want to cage this woman and IBB and Co are calling Abacha a saint?

Where is our thinking faculty before we opened our mouth? why didn't any of the reporters at the occasion asked IBB and CO to tell us where did Abacha got all the money that was deposited in foreign accounts? was ABACHAs father from Saudi or a King?
Politics / Re: Abacha Is A Saint - Babangida, Buhari, Abdulsalami. by Mamajama(m): 9:36pm On Jun 09, 2008
Hausa's always stick together no matter what. they have been defrauding this nation for decades.

What will you expect IBB and CO to say? blood is always ticker than water no matter how you mix it. What a joke.

I reserve my comment on the three AMIGOS

Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan publicly support Obama this morning and said the game is over.

When reputable people like him endorse a candidate you have to see the green light
Politics / Ranking The 50 Highest-earning Athletes In The U.s. by Mamajama(m): 8:34pm On Jun 03, 2008
No one can touch Tiger Woods, the runaway No. 1 for the fifth year in a row. Tiger's near $128 million haul is more than double his closest pursuer, Phil Mickelson at $62.4 million. As usual, hoops dominates the 50: More than half this year's list is made up of NBA players. There are 10 baseball players, seven football players, three NASCAR drivers, three golfers and one boxer -- and yet zero women

OBAMA does not need Hillary. She will be catastrophic once she gets in the white house, she will make sure Obama does not get a second nomination.

OBAMA please listen to all your AFRICAN Brothers. Do not pick Queen drama. There are more versatile and charismatic female governor that will make a good candidate
Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama Clinches Democratic Nomination by Mamajama(m): 8:17pm On Jun 03, 2008

You can stick a fork in Clinton the selfish witch she is DONE.

Now she will have all the time to smoke Bill Cigar. I wonder if she will stand by her husband with the latest allegation by Vanity Fair affairs with actress Gina Gershon
Foreign Affairs / Obama Clinches Democratic Nomination by Mamajama(m): 7:17pm On Jun 03, 2008
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday after a grueling marathon, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.

Campaigning on an insistent call for change, Obama outlasted former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in a historic race that sparked record turnout in primary after primary, yet exposed deep racial and gender divisions within the party.

The tally was based on public declarations from delegates as well as from another 15 who have confirmed their intentions to the AP. It also included 11 delegates Obama was guaranteed as long as he gained 30 percent of the vote in South Dakota and Montana later in the day. It takes 2,118 delegates to clinch the nomination

Politics / Re: Knowing What You Know Today, Would You Still Pick Ribadu As The Efcc Chairman? by Mamajama(m): 5:55pm On May 23, 2008
Bolat is too damn expensive for the shit they serve. lol

you need a fine dinning on a boat in Navy pier. lol.

Back to the topic. Ribadu will always be a fine cop. All his persecution were personal, most senior police officer will love to see the guy fail because of his couple elevated promotion that he couldn't control.
Politics / Re: Knowing What You Know Today, Would You Still Pick Ribadu As The Efcc Chairman? by Mamajama(m): 4:25pm On May 23, 2008
BIGB1  selective reading is a crime also.  Why do you failed to list all the accomplishments of MR RIBADU as the chairman of the EFCC?

Why must you continue to promogate all this negative propaganda that has been printed in the dubious media houses?

Ribadu was not perfect and no one in Nigeria is perfect by any means.  We must embrace and cherish what we have.

Question how many public office holder or public figure conviction does Nigeria as a nation has before RIBADU?  ZERO

Thanks
Politics / Re: Iyabo Obansanjo Is Innocent by Mamajama(m): 4:20pm On May 23, 2008
@youngies Let me take you back to law 101

If my brother went to a departmental store and stole a Big screen TV and posted it for sale at his local store. A total stranger walked in and paid for the TV without any knowledge of how the store owner got the TV and was given a genuine receipt.

When katakata come start. The purchaser was arrested for been an accessory to stolen goods; his picture was posted on all the media news paper as a thief.

Do we the public have the right to condemn this individual as a thief in the court of public opinion without knowing all the details and facts of the case?

We are all entitled to our opinion, but I thing this woman is been persecuted for the crimes allegedly committed by her father
Politics / Re: Police Bill Passes Second Reading In Senate by Mamajama(m): 4:15pm On May 22, 2008
I do not think this is silly in any way whatever.  How many people actually pay tax in Nigeria?  we are so quick to complain of what we want but are we willing to pay for it as a nation?
'
Do Nigerians pay taxes on food or clothes?  Go to any modern nation and its impossible to buy a bottle of water without Uncle SAM AKA BIG BROTHER the government getting a CUT.

The cooporation want protection,  let them pay for it
Politics / Police Bill Passes Second Reading In Senate by Mamajama(m): 4:03pm On May 22, 2008
A bill to impose two percent tax on profits of all registered companies in Nigeria to fund the Nigeria Police passed second reading in the Senate yesterday.

The Bill for an Act to establish a tax fund for the Nigerian Police, sponsored by Gbemi Saraki, seeks to boost funding of the police through collection of an annual police tax. Saraki in her lead debate said like the Education Tax Fund which was established to halt the alarming decline in the education sector, the police tax fund would be assessed and collected by the Federal Inland Revenue Services, (FIRS).

Good move, but will the companies pay?

Politics / Iyabo Obansanjo Is Innocent by Mamajama(m): 3:55pm On May 22, 2008
Why is this woman been persecuted for Ten Million Naira?

When will the OBJ bashers get real and stop bestowing the crime of the father on to the daughter?

She clearly said the money was spent on departmental trip to Ghana and yet people that stole Billions are living a lavish splendor.

If we Nigerians allow this woman to fall for this pessimistic stupid propaganda, then we are doomed forever
Politics / Re: Help! Fashola Has Banned One Of Our Cultures: Owanbe Street Party. by Mamajama(m): 6:12pm On May 14, 2008
I commend this active Governor for taking such a huge initiative to change this stupid culture.

Why should anyone have the right to block a street and impede traffic just because they want to party? this act is not tolerated in civilized nation and Lagos its on its way to civilization

I still don't understand some black people in this country. Can someone please explain to me why they cant just stand up for what is right?

http://www.blackamericaweb.com/site.aspx/bawnews/movingamerica08/cbcclintonsupporters513

I was shocked to see someone like Mayor Naggin Ray of New Orleans just now switching to Obama. What message are they sending to their constituencies?
Foreign Affairs / Re: Should Obama Help Pay Off Clitons $20 Million Debt? by Mamajama(m): 9:39pm On May 13, 2008
I agree with you but when you talk of change and bringing the country and the parties together Haggle will be of more value to him than Hillary.

Not only is he respected among Republicans, but that will help Obama win some of the red states that will never vote for a democratic candidate and not to even think of a blackman
Foreign Affairs / Re: Should Obama Help Pay Off Clitons $20 Million Debt? by Mamajama(m): 9:14pm On May 13, 2008
Been a 1st lady does not equal experience. How many post or foreign policy experience does she has in comparison to Chuck Haggle? or other potential candidates that are out there?

She is outstanding but her integrity and honesty is at question. The GOP will have a field day with her when it comes to honesty and taking money from the lobbyist
