But whats his name macbain? is better that James |
It shocks me that the Mothers of today still teach their children the "old" ways It shocks me that the young ladys do not break loose. Just the other day i was talking to a young girl about 22 and she really meant that if a woman dose something really bad then the husband has the right to beat her. Then all the people that use the bible to say God said this and that. |
Do not forget the tradition ,what people will say. It is only Strong women that are able to break loose, and there are not so many strong women |
I never said a woman should not leave her husbands house. But i am asking is it possible for her in Nigeria to go. What about the kids, what about the money, who will feed her. Do not forget the pressure from even her own people what they will say. Many women that run to their fathers house , dose the husband not come looking for them . Is it not the father that sends them back to the husband. Do you know even here when i try to encourage a woman to leave the husband how many people paunce on me. Its always the same a man beats up the wife. When people ask he always has a reason and in the end it is the wife that has to ask for forgiveness. |
For the sake of the mother. If the mum says dont do that they listen to her. Her word is their command. And there is a difference between beating and beating. Do not forget in Nigeria you are still living in your fathers house and he is feeding you . Am talking of kids between 15 and about 20 years old. I agree any man that beats his wife is a mad dog . But if i were in Nigeria today i ask myself could i afford to leave my husbands house just like that ![]() |
so what is a size 14 in eu size . I am a size 38 and women size start with 34 but 34 is really small then comes 36 then 38, th3n 40,42,44,46 |
@ Mamaput - there are ways to prevent Parent-to-child transmission.I know but still i cannot risk getting it because i owe them an obligation to raise them. When you have kids you have to try and live safe. |
My first reading book was I have forgotten the name but it started This is okafor okafor is a boy This is Ngozi Ngozi is a girl Then the igbo book icant write igbo but it went like this see a white the white is beautiful ,. It was a picture of a white person. It is clear that changes must come. Even the maths my kids do not do it the way we did they use another method. The funny thing is that sometimes when i teach my kids the Nigerian methon the teacher looks quit intrested. |
My best friend in school was so mad about that book she even started quoting the books. I think that she most have read all and more than once. |
I do not only have myself to thing about but my kids . I cannot take that risk |
I used to know this family . The man will drink and beat the wife. He promised thewife to stop drinking and started drinking "Only from the cover of the wiskey bottel" When the boys grew he stoped. Not because they beat their dad , they never did that But they protected their mum by not letting the dad near her. More or less like in you have to get passed us to get to mum. The man never belittled himself to fight his sons,, The sons never belittled themselves to beat up their father . Then apart from from letting go of himself ones in a while , The man was a good father and a good husband. he gave his family all they wanted and needed. The man has passed away a few years ago and the kids are taking good care of their mum . |
We do not have them here in schools. But in Private sports clubs or some Football teams (Also private ) get themselves some. |
There was a time i lost somany things i have forgotten what but one day i found everything all on the same day. And once after having a baby i did not fitinto my cloths for sometime almost 2 years later i put on this pair of shorts ,put my hands in the pocket and felt something it was 300 then DM. almost 150€ |
One fine day we were all still in our mums house. my mum had just got a new scissors from her mum(German scissors in Nigeria) anyway she could not find it and made us all look for it. So we looked turned the whole house upside down (mum was sitting on the couch) even dad looked. she made us look again so we looked again . Then we asked her to stand up because the only place we had not looked was were she was sitting . She refused. My dad asked her to stand up she refused and insulted us all what wicked kids we were to take the present from her mum. my dad begged her to stand up she stood and guess what. She just smiled |
Come to think of it if i go to googel and give in Nigeria the first few pages are all about Nigeria connection and 419. Thats were the pride will fall. |
Kimba the religion is a whole way of life not just the church going, Is it not all about If i do this god will punish me. Some countries in the world their standard insult is Bleep you Bleep this , shit . But in Nigeria is it not more like god punish you lightning strike you , your mother , your father. HM |
I haveseen my next performance when i go to the next school conference. |
If he would touch one of my kids children or try to put himself betwen me and them. |
They made a test here in germany women can do like 4 /5 things at the same time. Talk on the phone at the sametime use the vacumcleaner and are online all at the same time.with the baby on the back Or drive the car talk on the phone makeup and smoke all at the same time . At work , they work on the computer take calls and sort out their desk. A man can only do one thing at a time . Go and try . |
The problem is that there are not enough bold people out there ready to break with tradition . Everyone acts like there fathers who were like there fathers who were like their fathers, be4 them. Its all about what will people say.And not what do i want. |
I hate shopping |
centrists |
@ mide2 just forget the whole issue . I hate talk about who said what and who did not say. |
