this is not true. I've been to Enugu and stayed for a year. Enugu is cheap to live in. Except in the metropolis, every other place has very cheap accommodation cost. With 500 you'll get a gud meal. This doesn't obtain in some states.

This rating na rubbish! People always think Lagos is expensive, there are Food items such as Rice and imported items that are cheaper in Lagos than every other location in Nigeria. When I was serving in Cross-River price of rice, indomitable, spaghetti, eggs, groundnut oil were 50% higher than lagos price because they were also coming down to lagos to buy.

Though, Rent and Transport are relatively high in Lagos but many other things are cheaper compare to other state because those items we use are bought in lagos.

Lagos is very very cheap to live in. Aside accommodation and transport as u rightly pointed, feeding in Lagos is way way cheap.
