AGIP, Who takes him serious? After all his experiences as Commonwealth Secretary General, what prevented him all the years from getting elected Nigeria's president? Some people elected to live in Animal Farm till end of time. |
Pidggin:Na lie, before you scrap zoning, Nigeria must have been restructured politically to offset the present 36 states structure created by northern soldiers to favour only the north. Three senators from each state, therefore north is over represented every where. If you scrap zoning, only northern politicians can win to become president. .Land mass was wrongly used as criterion by northern Nigeria soldiers to proliferate 20 federating units in once one federating unit - northern Nigeria, But only 17 federating units in once two regions southern Nigeria. Fraud. Problem is that each time the east asks for political restructuring in a democratic atmosphere, people like Raji Fashola were among the first to counter the eastern politicians. |
But most of the north has abandoned PDP FOR APC. So why zone presidency to north? |
telim:The Pound, I mean the GBP could have been okay for us if we are not trickster. Most annoying is that the Oyibo who helped us during the civil war to remain one, immediately after the war, we kicked their ASSSS and changed from Pound to Naira. |
Donald Trump, pls first teach American blacks some lessons. Nigerian blacks were promised N5000, they voted a man living in the era of West Germany; but now, N5000? Nigerians can't get, electricity they can't get, fuel ..... they can't get. Even peace ... they can't get. What they get nyafu nyafu is: a president junketing round the world even in the face of deficiencies at home; worse, many Nigerians continue to be deceived that the president's global junketing is for their own good. What a generation of Nigerians. |
Even without $$$$, Trump earns my vote for president of the US. |
McCarlito:Let The Touts Go So That You Shall Be Left In Your Own New Country Without The Touts, You Say No, And Fight Tooth And Nail Against That. How do you define your level of hypocrisy? You No Get Shame! !!! |
What's this? Convert biko!!!! Reconcile for our good and your good!!!

Okorocha seems to be reconciling with his PDP foes. Let him do so. Important personalities from the state who are mostly in PDP need to interact with Okorocha to tell him that the state capital Owerri is not all there is for development in Imo state. Okorocha's Deputy even told Vanguard about three months ago that Okorocha in four years did 75% of whatever development projects he did in Imo state in Owerri alone. Analysts believe he did more that 90%. |
Ohakim looks more Alhajic than Okorocha |
shankie:Okorocha and Orlu don't sing from same hymn book. Orlu massively voted him to rewrite the historic underdevelopment slapped upon the area by previous governments. But Okorocha made things worse. He denies Orlu ranging from the pipe borne water to public university to roads, to economic growth infrastructure, to urban drainage system the area asked for - and beats his chest about that. Dust from roads scratched by his contractors make people in Orlu risk lung disease. Youths in Orlu have had no organised sports five years Okorocha became governor after Okorocha dismantled a modern sports stadium built by the previous governments. IMSUTH is only government establishment that brings a few Naira govt money to Orlu, but Okorocha has picketed it to near coma. Road to IMSUTH remain non-pliable since Okorocha became governor; to the extent that IMSUTH now doesn't admit new medical students. |
Abagworo:Ideato is very large, you stranger don't know. The dual road you show is for Akokwa through Rochas university to Orlu. The other side of Ideato south with many communities passing through Umuma Issiaku -Ugbelle through that bridge on Urashi river to Orlu. It's an ancient road used even by Rochas ancestors. Most annoying is that millions, if not up to a billion Naira was spent on building this road by previous govts. What was remaining was asphalt and the bridge at Urashi in Ugbelle. Then Okorocha came. Work stopped. What was spent has been in ruins. |
Walahitallahi, this is a lie. Okorocha Governor of Owerri state since 2013 he joined APC. Below is like the bridge across Urashi River in Ugbelle that links many communities in Ideato South Lga, a few kilometers from Okorocha's ancestral home. But in the state capital where Rochas govt has concentrated 90% since 2013, Okorocha builds flyovers where roundabouts are cheaper and more convenient, he pushes down mission schools, state library and build new ones, builds bypass roads to anticipate urban development. ORO remembers people in his area of birth only during elections, pity them. ORO can't repent now.

Rotimi A. needs not be distracted. He needs to go back to work to finish the FIRST federal govt's modern, most expensive, standard gauge Railway Lines going on in the north; to be followed by a similar standard gauge rail from Lagos to Abuja. By about hundred years from now if oil still flows, when all north and southwest are provided with standard gauge rail lines, the federal govt of Naija shall then decide to put plans on the pipeline for similar train lines in the old southeast region and Delta state. |
saintkeppy:U forgot UI and OAU where cultism started and has continued to reign highest. Wole Soyinka started cultism in the south west universities. |
NaijaEfcc:Divide-and-rule masser. Some of the southsouth victims of your divide and rule tactic are yet to wake up from slumber - no matter their level of education attained. Kachikwu is Igbo, Yoruba kick against the Igbo in govt is what the Igbo is reacting to. You blamed Jonathan for all the ills in his govt. Buhari is Petroleum Minister, he should be blamed for the ills in his govt as well. Kachikwu merely expressed that since he was not Petroleum Minister, there is a limit to the miracle you should expect from him |
Tinubu is on the crude and standard menu for his people: Igbo must not be in any important position in Nigeria's govt. Before long, they shall turn against Chris Ngige who says APC govt can't pay the N5000 as promised; thereafter, they shall turn against Ogbonnaya Onu who is dreaming to send Nigeria to space anytime from now. They turned against every Igbo in Jonathan's govt. The Tinubus say that they are the most "Shophischicated" Tribe in Nigeria. |
tinktanker:Rotimi A. as gov. was for outmoded monorail in his home Rivers state, but now constrained to build most expensive, most modern standard gauge rail in the north and southwest regions of Nigeria. What a great politician, Rotimi A!!!!. That's what Rotimi A. got from fighting Goodluck Jonathan. |
Amaechi fought Jonathan as president. Result: the first ever standard gauge rail lines ever in Nigeria (very expensive) was started to be built in the north, instead of from Portharcourt to Warri, or Portharcourt to Aba to Uyo. Most southerners have been chased away from north by religious zealots. Amaechi inherited the completion and commissioning of the standard gauge rail in Kaduna. Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail is waiting for Amaechi to complete after the Kaduna-Abuja standard gauge rail. Old Southeast, Delta and Edo states? It may be next 100 years before Nigeria builds standard gauge rail systems in them. PITY ROTIMI A. He looks miserable here. |
TrueSenator:Fears. You guys may pressure Rotimi Amaechi into depression and eventual Sui...de. Easy. |
Tinubu is Yoruba. That Yoruba mindset which does not allow an average Yoruba to accept Igbo in Nigeria's govt influenced Tinubu's outburst. Nearly every Igbo, no not nearly, in fact, every Igbo in Jonathan's govt was fingered by Yoruba for demolition or jail, starting from the Immigration woman to the Chief of Army Staff, Ihejirika to Aviation Minister, to Ngozi Iweallah and even to an Ijaw woman because she was married to an Igbo, Deziani Madueke. Tinubu acted the normal act. Watch out, before long, Onu and Ngige shall start to feel the heat from the same people. |
Cybertext:UNIBEN has the best sporting complex and well-positioned. |
Olusanya333:Photographer was tricky. Photographer took distant photos, but one can still observe signs of dilapidation everywhere. . |
Bridge looking like this across Urashi River in Ugbelle in Ideato South connects most of Ideato south with Ugbelle - Umuma Issiaku to Orlu. Work started on the road to the bridge during Udenwa govt; the first bridge across Mgbede Stream along the road was built, gutters were built on both sides of the road; next was to build the bridge across Urashi river in Ugbelle. Work continued on the road under Ohakim govt. Rochas Okorocha came in as governor, work stopped on the road till this day. Twice, people here voted Rochas en mass, but the people here in Ugbelle where the bridge is remain like in the dark ages. Rochas has been building fly overs in Owerri where cheaper roundabouts could have been better; demolishing missionary schools in Owerri and build new ones.

Beremx:Uzodinma Hope said in his 2011 campaign that since he was a child, he had heard politicians from Orlu zone, including K.O Mbadiwe, moan about absence of pipe borne water in Orlu. He asked to be voted senator so as to bring sustainable public water supply for the first time to Orlu. Uzodinma has won twice - by magic - and disappeared to his home and Abuja. Arthur Nzeribe was the senator representing Orlu zone when Mbakwe government which Nzeribe was in same party with "ate" the then multi million Dollar Regional water supply Scheme which IMSG proposed for nearly all the local government councils in Orlu zone. An Ideato man was Mbakwe's stiff opponent then. Because of the man, Mbakwe completed or started similar water supply projects in Owerri, Okigwe, Umuahia and Aba - but continued endless feasibility studies for Orlu regional water supply Scheme. Okorocha became governor and didn't know the history of Imo state. He couldn't start from where other governors stopped.Okorocha is supposed to start the Orlu regional water supply Scheme. But he seems rather to believe that Owerri is all about Imo state. |
Abagworo:You further irritate people from Orlu when you make this claim of Nzeribe contributing a single development to Orlu. Look, Nzeribe undermined infrastructural and political development of Orlu. Example, Njaba STATE with Orlu as capital could have been realized under OBJ govt, but for Arthur Nzeribe's anti-Orlu politics which brought in other areas like Nsukka and Okigwe to claim the sixth state. Thus Nzeribe threw bad blood into south east's agitation for a sixth state. Orlu was in the same league with Awka in 1996. Orlu could have been undergoing similar transformation as Awka today. Njaba remains the denied sixth state in the south east. This is why as Gov. Okorocha administration relegated Orlu to village status, many people wonder if Okorocha actually knows the history of Imo state. |
Okorocha taking loans on behalf of Imo state to continue with his Owerrri Municipal development government. Okorocha taking loans to continue to build flyovers and by-pass roads and landmark buildings in Owerri, instead of employment- generating developments for Imo state youths. Okorocha has his huge house and businesses, including hotels in Owerri. He has thus been spending the state capital development budgets only on the state capita, with the dream that the state capital shall become a New York City overnight. |
Did we vote Buhari to recover money? No. Buhari administration is not Police. We voted Buhari to use what he finds on ground to improve the welfare of Nigerians. Buhari we are expecting you to tell us about RESTRUCTURING NIGERIA'S POLITY. The bad political system is what breeds corruption. |
cele360:The heart of the matter. U gorrit. |
lailo:The buck stops on the president's table. Instead of admitting that either ethnic or religious bigotry led you to vote for president of Nigeria a man - barely educated, very old, one-time dictator who still calls West Germany, you blame a non living object - a politicians party. By the way, nearly all the people in today's APC were in PDP. |
lailo:... and all the years of Jonathan as president, he managed to have us get regular fuel at the pumps. hypocrisy stops you from remembering that. |
