Why should the female here run? Haven't you heard of assisted reproduction before? Anyway read to be informed, we live in the 21st century. |
May his soul rest in peace. Please believe that it wasn't the felling of the tree that killed him, he might have had some underlying health issues like heart disease, cancer, only God knows. Wishing to be slim is NOT going to cut it. You have to take the necessary actions to achieve your goal. Fad diets don't work, you tend to regain the weight back. Exercise (as simple as 30 minutes walk) and caloric reduction (not starvation) are proven methods to shedding weight. Have a positive outlook, believe that you can achieve it and you will! |
Adding too much sugar defeats the purpose of drinking green tea IMO. You can also get polyphenol (the antioxidants responsible for the benefits listed by the original poster) from fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grain cereals, and red wine. And from what I've read no significant side effects are evident from regular consumption of polyphenol or flavonoid-containing dietary supplements. |
Great question. The more you know about your body the better. Use the calculator http://www.kidsdirect.net/BD/tools/ovulate-calc.htm to calculate when you'll ovulate. It is only day 14/15 when you have a 28 days cycle. What is Ovulation? Ovulation is the release of a mature egg (ovum) from the ovarian follicle. Each menstrual cycle, several ovarian follicles begin to mature and develop under the influence of pituitary hormones. Usually only one follicle develops fully. While the other follicles recede, this dominant follicle produces an egg which will be released and which can be fertilized. The growing follicle secretes increasing amounts of the hormone estrogen. Following peak estrogen production, there is a surge of luteinizing hormone (LH). The LH surge triggers the release of the mature egg from its follicle. This is ovulation. After Ovulation Once ovulated, the egg is picked up by one of the fallopian tubes and begins to travel towards the uterus in the fallopian tube. This is where fertilization, if it is to happen, takes place. The follicle that released the egg becomes known as the corpus luteum after ovulation and begins to secrete the heat inducing hormone, progesterone. The lifespan of the egg after ovulation is just 12-24 hours, maybe even less. Fertilization must take place within this timeframe. After this timeframe, the egg begins to degenerate and is no longer capable of being fertilized. This seems like a very short window of time for conception to take place. However, sperm deposited prior to ovulation can survive in the female reproductive tract for a few days, so the few days before ovulation takes place are also considered fertile days. Ovulation and the Cycle Phases Ovulation is the event that defines the phases of the menstrual cycle. The phase before ovulation, when the ovarian follicles are developing, is called the follicular phase. The phase after ovulation is called the luteal phase. The length of the follicular phase may vary but the luteal phase length is generally constant from cycle to cycle for the same woman, lasting 10-16 days. When cycles are irregular, it is usually because ovulation occurred earlier or later than usual. Knowing when ovulation occurred allows you to see if intercourse was well-timed for conception and lets you determine your luteal phase length. Knowing your luteal phase length tells you when to expect your period or a positive pregnancy test result. When does Ovulation take place? Ovulation takes place, on average, about two weeks before your period, though it can vary from 10-16 days before the onset of menstruation depending on the length of your luteal phase. During an “average” 28 day cycle, ovulation is usually expected to take place between cycle days 13-15. Based on this guideline, many women are taught to expect ovulation around day 14 of their menstrual cycle. Many women, however, do not have average cycles and even those who usually do may see irregularities from time to time. A typical menstrual cycle may be anywhere from 21 to 35 days according to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Some women even notice cycles that are shorter or longer than this. Ovulation, then, may occur much earlier or later than typical guidelines suggest. For example, ovulation may occur on cycle day 23 during a cycle that is 35 days long for a woman with a 12 day luteal phase while ovulation may occur on cycle day 10 for a woman with a 24 day cycle and a 14 day luteal phase length. This variation among women and from cycle to cycle means that there is really no simple “one-size-fits-all” mathematical formula to calculate your ovulation date. However, it is possible to learn how to identify your own ovulation date and fertile signs by examining your fertility signals. Detecting Ovulation Your ovulation date and your time of peak fertility can be detected by charting your fertility signs. This is because our bodies produce signals that can alert us that ovulation is approaching and tell us when ovulation has passed. Fertility signs that indicate that estrogen levels are high and ovulation is approaching (and fertility is high) include observing increasingly stretchy and “egg white” cervical fluid and observing a high, soft and open cervix. Commercial devices such as ovulation prediction kits (OPKs) and fertility monitors can also tell us that ovulation is approaching by measuring the presence of estrogen or luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine. Charting your basal body temperature (BBT) allows you to pinpoint the day of ovulation and tells you when ovulation has passed because progesterone raises the basal body temperature after ovulation. If Narun is Nettle rash (hives), this is the info I found on the net. I hope it helps you. What is nettle rash? Nettle rash (also known as urticaria) is composed of reddish itchy weals or swellings in the skin similar to those resulting from contact with stinging nettle. Urtica is the Latin word for nettle. The rash may vary in shape and size, can be very itchy and usually goes away within 24 hours. Nettle rash may occur repeatedly or as a single episode. What causes nettle rash? In about 90 per cent of cases there is no apparent cause. Sometimes, however, it is possible to identify the cause of the nettle rash and it appears to be most commonly due to an allergic reaction. Any of the following may trigger symptoms: * a particular kind of food that causes an allergy. Eggs, nuts, strawberries and seafood are some of the common culprits. * contact with pollen or fungal spores. * medicines, most commonly, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antibiotics, and ACE-inhibitors. * insect bites. * infections, which may be caused by viruses, parasites or bacteria. * contact with plants such as stinging nettles. * contact with animals or creatures, such as stinging jellyfish. * physical stimuli, such as feeling cold or warm, sunlight, water, sweating or pressure. * substances, such as perfumes, preservatives, colourings, nickel or tar. During an allergic reaction, a chemical called histamine is released by cells in the skin. Histamine makes the blood vessels dilate and become more permeable (leaky) so that fluid seeps out into the skin. The rash itself is due to a local build up of an excessive amount of fluid in the skin (oedema). In severe cases this may be followed by swelling in other parts of the body as well. If swelling occurs around the eyes, lips, tongue, larynx or hands it is called angioneurotic oedema. What are the symptoms of nettle rash? * Nettle rash usually starts out as an itchy spot on the skin. * After a few minutes the weals develop into areas of reddish blisters of varying sizes. * The rash usually lasts for about two to three hours and can then disappear only to return in a different place. How do you differentiate between the different types of nettle rash? Nettle rash is differentiated according to the cause of the rash and whether it has appeared suddenly or represents a chronic condition, such as attacks that last for more than a month. Acute nettle rash In cases of acute nettle rash, the attack begins within an hour of exposure to the allergen so it is often possible to work out what has caused it. Symptoms will appear every time the individual is exposed to that particular allergen. There is usually no need to call the doctor for acute cases of nettle rash. The patient is able to find the cause of the rash and follow it up with home treatment. In more severe cases, however, it may be necessary to consult a doctor. Children and young adults are particularly prone to repeated attacks of nettle rash. Acute nettle rash can be divided into allergic and non-allergic (physical) nettle rash. Both types present immunological reactions. Chronic nettle rash Chronic cases are, by definition, more difficult to treat and often need long-term treatment. With chronic nettle rash, the rash may last for several weeks and it is advisable to contact your GP and if appropriate, get a referral to a skin specialist (dermatologist). In about 90 per cent of cases, no cause can be found for the symptoms. This kind of nettle rash is called idiopathic urticaria. In the other 10 per cent of cases the substance (such as nickel or perfume) causing the allergy can be identified. In extremely rare cases, urticaria may be related to a more serious underlying medical condition. If a thorough examination shows that there is no apparent trigger for the chronic nettle rash, do not be alarmed. Chronic nettle rash can be treated and in about half of all cases the rash disappears by itself within six months. However, sometimes the condition may be resistant to treatment and persist for years. Hereditary angioneurotic oedema This is an inherited condition that can cause nettle rash and swelling around the eyes, mouth and hands. It requires treatment by a specialist. How does the doctor make a diagnosis? Often it is enough to tell the doctor when, where and how you got the symptoms. Skin tests, a thorough examination and blood samples can be used to confirm the diagnosis. Possible complications * Disturbed sleep due to itch and irritation. * Angioneurotic oedema (swollen mucous membranes of the larynx or bronchi), which may sometimes require immediate treatment. Future prospects * In acute cases, the rash usually disappears when the cause is avoided. * If treatment is necessary different medicines are available that are effective at relieving the symptoms. * New medicines have been developed recently and the prospects of successful treatment of hereditary angioneurotic oedema are good. What medication can be used? Antihistamines are the most commonly used group of medicines for nettle rash. They relieve itching, reduce nettle rash from a severe to a mild outbreak and make the rash disappear. They may be administered as tablets or injections. Antihistamines that cause drowsiness are useful at night if one has trouble sleeping. In rare cases, treatment by a skin specialist with anti-allergy medicine may be necessary. The treatment of hereditary angioneurotic oedema must be carried out by a specialist. Steroids are commonly used to treat this condition. Having an unprotected sex with a prostitute not only put the man's life in jeopardy but it also put the innocent victim's life (wife) in jeopardy. As for the child, he can take care if him/her after I leave with my kids. |

Can someone tell me how much it is to rent a mailbox in Nigeria? I'm looking into Mail/Business Center biz you know like UPS center and Fedex kinko. If anyone has an idea on what the startup entails and how to go about it please post. Thanks. |
So in essence, you are saying that Nigeria does not need her. We both know that is far from the truth. LoverBwoy: |
Typical Nigerian mentality. Do you think the westerners that are offering working visas for skilled labour are stupid? No, far from it. They want to take the skilled labours out of developing countries, that way the third worlds will never be able to compete in global economy since their SKILLED labours have already abandoned their motherland. Think about it. We are always crying that Nigeria is not doing much for her citizens. Ask yourself what you can do to make your country better. Stop running away to foreign countries to make their country better. quote: France says: "Give us your doctors, high-tech whizzes and sports stars - but not your poor, unskilled masses." Uhm, I know this forum if filled with intelligent individuals, I don't need to explain to you what France means. LoverBwoy: |
Why can't she stay in Nigeria and start some kind of health/medical care service? We always complain that Nigeria is not doing enough for the country. The question is what are the people doing for the country ? Please tell your friend to stay and help improve our country. She can do that by lending her expertise to the society that needs her. |

Not to burst anyone's bubble but you might want to read this article in order to make an informed decision: Study Shows Downside of IT Certification, Among "cooling" certified tech skills, those that have lost their value in the last year, the study lists nine, including MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and three Novell certifications (NCDE, MCNE, and CNA). Fourteen certifications have grown in value, showing an 11 percent or higher growth over the last year, including SCNP (Security Certified Network Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer). Highest-paid certifications include CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and five different Cisco certifications (CCDP, CCEA, CCIE, CCIP and CCSP). Nigerian culture is deeply rooted in religion. I think that they just want their faith reflected in their everyday lives including their businesses. Who can fault them for that, to each his/her own. |
Why are you all coming down on the guy? It's the thought of sending the gift that counts jare. @ Falcon: It's better to use UPS or DHL but make sure you add insurance, just in case. |
larger_20:I think it has to be more than that. |
