Well in my opinion if the girl gets to know her boyfriend really well, knows his friends, the friends tell her what he's like (and whether he has a temper) visits his family, notices that the guy is well behaved when with his family, i mean he dosen't lose his cool beats his juniors, or gets annoyed easily etc, then these should be signs that the guy is not a wife beater. Hi Nairalanders welcome to the word game. Lets see how many words we can make out of 'THE NAIRALAND FORUM'. You talk as if your not a nigerian, u can't seriously tell me dat u believe extra marital affairs are are as bad in Nigeria as they r in America? EXtra marital affairs happens all over the world but its worse in some parts than others, Obansanjo the late MKO Abiola etc both officially had more than one wife talkless of affairs

There is a difference coz extra marital affairs are 100 times more common in nigeria than in the U S. I think a 100 is a big difference. Don't u?

Like u said cheating even happens in the western world, but u can't compare politician bill clinton with our nigerian politicians here? When it comes to extra  marital affairs we are in a different league. You will never hear that Politicians in Yankee have arranged fine babes from Uni for a sex party abi? Can u imagine the Headline News in all the major papers in the world if something like that did happen?

Well like chidnosky said '' its a man's world'' and Nigeria is a male dominated society. Come to london where a lot of my nija friends some in thier late 30's or early 40's (all married with kids) talking about how they made love with thier girlfriends during the weekend etc. You'd think these boys were still in Uni. And i can't imagine any of thier wives doing dat.

But then back in the days before colonization men never used to cheat on thier wives because then they were married to six or seven of dem so there was need too.

We are not related, she's my girlfriend. She has a shop in Bayelsa and i've  bought goods for her to sell from a wholesale shop in Whitechapel and sent them to her through air cargo we have invoices to prove it and she just came from Dubai last month where she cargoed more goods for her business. So she can come with a BUSINESS VISITOR VISA

Also she can come as a FAMILY VISITOR VISA because she has a brother who is studying here, (I think he wants to graduate in June) he can invite her but since he's a student he hasn't got much money in his account and he can't accomodate her.

Which makes me think its best she uses a TOURIST VISITOR VISA because i can easily pay for a one week bed n breakfast hotel and send her the receipt. Then she can visit me, her brother, buy her goods and have a holiday all at the same time.

What do you think funkebaby? Your opinion will be sincerely appreciated.

Pls accept my sincere apologies funkebaby i respect u a lot. Am not trying to wind u up. Somebody can come to england to buy goods for business, visit friends and have a holiday all at d same time abi? But na only 1 visa dem go apply for not 3. Am just trying to think of the best way to help her.

Anyway i think i have all the information i need now. I just foundout where the visa application forms are and I can go thru previous post in this thread if i need anymore information
