Hi Everyone, asking on my sister's behalf. Can someone please confirm the IELTS centre number of Mauve 21 in Ibadan? NG150?

Also, her results have come under scrutiny and have been witheld while an investigation is being conducted.

She was given the option to provide any information which may support her test performance, if she so desires. A scanned handwritten response is to be submitted within 14 days of receiving their email.

Did Australia meet the expectations you had before you made the journey Down Under?

Conversely, were there concerns you had about the country before moving that have now been allayed?

Well, Meristem is testing the waters now. It seems pa Ewumi still accesses margin loans from his broker except I'm mistaken.

Pls does anyone use margin trade on meritrade.

If so, how does it work and what are charges like.

Thanks
Use their money to buy shares. Sell when you have made profit or loss. Pay interest on amount borrowed and refund money back to Meristem. So if interest rate is 23% for example and you buy N1m worth of stock today. If you sold in 3 months time, you would be required to refund money borrowed plus (N230,000 /4) i.e N1m + N57,500 = N1,057,500.

Principal = N1m
Interest rate = 23%
Tenor = 3months or 90 days
Repayment = N1,057,000

Please note there are just a basket of stocks you are allowed to trade. So team Japaul, Skye, Unity, Oando (even Diamond is disqualified) should not even think about it.

Shoot them an email to learn more about it.

A game changer in my opinion. As the details unfold, I expect the market to respond. A much needed catalyst imo.

Nice job, please educate us the more on their difference, Conoil PLC and Conoil producing.

One of the primary equity holder in one of the leading companies in refined products marketing in Nigeria ( Conoil PLC)

It's clear now they are not the same, but has some relationship.

In this their relationship, which of them contributes to the other?
Conoil Producing and Conoil Plc are both controlled by Mike Adenuga via Conpetrol Limited. They are affiliate companies but shareholders of Conoil Plc do not benefit from Conoil Producing (as such). Conoil producing is an upstream player dealing in exploration and production. Conoil Plc is a marketing associate publicly owned and listed. Conoil Plc has more business dealings with NNPC than with Conoil Producing sef.

I don't have much info about ownership structure of Conoil Producing as it's privately owned. You can go through Conoil Plc's last audited results to understand their business. smiley

Hey bro. Conoil Plc listed on the NSE does not own any block . Conoil Plc is different from Conoil Producing Limited. However, both are controlled by Adenuga.

It's safe for one to investment in a sound fundamental stock that has little upward movement than investing in a stock that has no fundamental.Such stocks uses the media to to advertise and manipulate prices and will finally dump on investors who has less info.After today,this stock will not be in my portfolio again.Nse should look for a way to sanction Jegede and his board of Directors.

I take the losses and the experience they passed to me while they take my money and go with profit.HMMMMMM.

i hear ooo but am talking of sustained bulls and not come and go bulls ooo
Your mind seems to be playing tricks on you then. You're almost conceding that the bulls are coming. cheesy grin cheesy Bulls come and go, so do Bears. The market will go bullish significantly enough to make your 800k profit pale into insignificance in comparison to profit realisable from the market if same amount was invested. Summarily, your decision to invest in TB at this time will not be the most rewarding because you got your timing wrong.

Again, this is my personal opinion. I'm practically daring the market based on my understanding of market cycles cheesy grin cheesy

I have said on this forum and am still saying it, mkt may not witness a major bull runs before 2019 General Election. What would be witnessed is ups and down everyday but many made jest of me but am watching. Am not betting on any stock, i have pulled out my fund and invested in tb yesterday having proceeds of 759k yesterday so am not interested in stocks for now but am watching
Baba calm down. Bull is coming. That members want it now and it isn't showing up doesn't mean it ain't coming. Investors/traders can be funny. They swing to extremes during both Bull and Bear.
Impatient investors will bail out and in the process help us lower prices. Then comes the bull. Fear Of Missing Out sets in and then they rush back in only for some of them to carry empty cans. The NSE didn't just open. It's been here before most of us were born.
I'll like the market to prove me wrong on this. Don't know if it's May, June or July o but I'm betting my moniker on this grin cheesy (I no fit put my money........I no get 100k for betting).
It might coincide with the release of the budget. Govt spending for the fiscal year 2018 is on hold. Direction is needed. On the world stage, we wait to see Trump's decision on Iran on the 11th abi na 12th of May. US trade war with China has lost its steam (no show).

Abeg, na my own personal theory o. Sell off if you so desire.

Please does anyone know the process to transfer or sell the shares and proceeds of a dead relative?
Could be a long process depending on the circumstances surrounding the relative's death. If the death is Intestate (death without a will), then you have to go through the Probate courts.

Well, you can approach the registrars for more information of what is required not what was held by the deceived relative though. They are not permitted by law to give you any info concerning the deceased holdings until you a letter of administration from the courts.

Your broker can also guide you through the process, probably for a fee.

After someone here had repeatedly posited that the price of Dangote Flour is been manipulated, I decided to follow thru with some investigation yesterday.
...and YES I can now confirm without an iota of dispute that the stock is indeed been manipulated.
Let me leave out my findings for yesterday since that is currently still under some investigation.
But here's what happened this morning;
Precisely at between 9.16- 9.20 am, the very 1st 5 to 6 trades that were executed on DF were done at trades of N11.50, N12 and N12.05. ...It opened at N11.50, went up to a high N12 and N12.05 before dropping back to N12.
...and since these trades were done at above the bulk of 50,000 units which is required for any stock above N5 (category B stocks) to capture the high and low intraday prices, N12.05 thus became the day high, while N12 became the day low as at the time.
I personally saw these trades myself on the morgancapital platform. ...they were actually the 1st 5 to 6 totalling a little above 600,000 units in volume.
But all of a sudden, the high and low of the trades were pulled off.

If u own this coy (DF), don't sell. Take or leave it, the price is currently been manipulated.

...more revert in due course.
If this is not sentiments, I don't know what it is. Why are you exposing a private conversation with a CEO in a public forum? That he discussed customers' transactions with you is unethical enough, not knowing that you too will come here and mention his name. So inappropriate if you ask me.

Please be more discreet in your dealings on the internet.
