What's the deal on Wemma Bank , am very heavy here but the thing just they go down like London Bridge. Any analysis on this.
Heavy on Wema? shocked What was the deal when you bought accumulated it? At the risk of appearing forward, I'd like to suggest you bail out if Wema benefits from any coming rally.
I hope you bought very low. It's a long road ahead for this bank except there is a significant change in the circumstance of this bank (none of which is in the public domain).
You have taken a very very high risk in my opinion.

I have made more money in the stock than anywhere in 2017 - follow my journey on http://nigerianstockstobuy.com/ as I share my trading secrets that net 10-20% monthly profit.
You got your percentage calculation wrong in the Oceanic bank example. The right calculation is 540%. A look at the following example:

If the share price of a stock you bought at N2 increases to N6.

6 - 2 = 4
4 / 2 = 2

Expressing in percentage terms:
2 x 100= 200%

That the share price trippled doesn't equate 300%.

Chibuking, what sayest thouhuh
Trouble maker! cheesy

But really, their profit is derived from trade margins. The trade volume itself is fixed based on the allocation (in barrels of crude by day). This is simply just winning business which will increase top and bottom line but not as a result of flunctuation in crude price. Additional income stream for Eterna from trading margins not from production (Oando and Seplat benefit directly from high crude prices).
Also we all should understand that there is a difference between Crude OIL and Petrol.

Then I will remind you of today. grin grin grin

Don't forget so soon, that they are among 2017/2018 indigenous company that won contract award to lift oil. Afro and Okitipupa oil were not among.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/01/nnpc-names-39-crude-oil-off-takers-20172018/

Last year when there was red oil boom, you need no prophet to tell you that Okomu oil and Prosco will move up, Okomu oil moved from #27 to #60/#70.

Crude oil move from 27 dollars per a barrel to 69 per a barrel within 2 years. ( https://www.oil-price.net ) premium motor spirit pump price move from #145 to #200/#250
Boldness in Ignorance cheesy cheesy

If and when you hear of subsidy reinstatement, you may make this claim. You are not right about Eterna and crude price increase

Those dealing in illiquid stocks might be more affected by the new pricing rule, especially those under N5.
Those familiar with the price movement of ETI, Seplat etc will understand this (there are no modifications for the class of stocks to which ETI and Seplat belong though).
Millions can be traded in a day but with trades less than 100,000 units.

I find it quite strange that u always seem to find fault in FCMB and none at all in DIAMOND, FBN, STERLING etc.
...To u, everything FCMB 'is to say the least fraud'
I am not trying to compare the tier 2 banks, but it does seem that if there are things to worry about in FCMB, then there is even a few more things to be worried about in DIAMOND. ...at least based on their Q3 results.
...and while ur at it, pls also take out a few moment to compare the Q3 Nos between FCMB and DIAMOND.
...for unless u refuse to be honest, FCMB as at Q3 is a better bargain than DIAMOND.
Please kindly post a link to FCMB's Q3 result. I must have missed it.

Will a Diamond,Transcorp, FCMB et al reversal be as explosive as they were at the start of the year? May be not. Possibly it's the turn of the likes of DF,DS,ETI,Access,UBA et al.

Just thinking aloud.

Please brothers and sisters answer this question o o
Selling all your holdings with a Registrar doesn't mean your record is deleted from the Registrars' system. As a matter of fact, your holdings still appear against your name but with zero units. This is to the best of my knowledge and deductions from my interactions with Registrars. This was my experience with FBN Registrars and Cardinal stone.

That you emptied your account with a bank and the account went dormant doesn't mean the bank deletes your record from their system (something like that cheesy except you close the account)

Yeah, the time of conclusion of the probe is really the question hence I too am not keen about acquiring a single unit for now.

However, if it survives SEC's probe and comes out really clean with its latest quarterly results found really genuine, I doubt it will need a general bull fire to break loose.
Only its outstanding 12bn units may be the opposing force to occasionally dampen its full scale return to above N200.
Oando needs to produce good results consistently before it can return to its glory days. However, I'll advise we lower our expectation of seeing this stock trade in the #100 or greater region.
What was the market capitalization of this stock before the company's misadventure? Do we really think Oando can have a market capitalization in Trillions (in the league of Dangcem and GTB) without a sound management and consistently good results? It's a long journey ahead for this company. The company needs to recover from it's aquisition of Conoco Philips'assets first, become profitable and pay down debts.

Disclaimer: The Market has its own mind and there might certainly be profit to be made from trading Oando. This is not a BUY or SELL recommendation.

The only below N5.00 and above N1.50 bank that DID NOT decline in price today is Diamond Bank. Think deeply about little signs... FCMB manipulators have targeted Diamond as their moving target hence, the similarity in prices.

I wrote something yesterday about FCMB, you blew it off as of no value. I do not control the market, but, I do sense things... FCMB was supposed to drop by 6% but the interested parties fought hard to reduce the decline by end of market.

I do not get an award either way; but, different stocks with LOGICAL basis will start moving away from those just riding the momentum wave courtesy of desperate and eager retail investors just throwing anything and everything at any stock in sight in their quest for quick profits. That journey of separation is now in play...

Have a nice weekend.
What are your thoughts on Diamond?

@Cornwall

I want to assure you once again that your bids are not being tampered with. The queue displayed on Morgan is what is getting you confused. Even though some orders have appeared above yours at the same price, your order will be filled first. Once you see a trade at your quoted price just go and check your order window.

I have consistently observed this since last year.
