veecovee: Truely i have nothing against you. I'm preacher who do not consider feelings of anyone. You are trying in what you are doing here, but just stop attacking other companies publicly based on what you think . Many other people are invested there too. Besides, no one knows it all. I don't really understand the bolded. There's no reason why anyone on this platform should not be able to share his opinion (be it negative or positive) on any listed stock. For as long as there's no subtle attempt to insult another's intelligence, all thoughts are welcome (requested or not). This is a public forum. You're better off sending PMs if you don't want input from a third party. If you detect a malicious intent or monkey hunting attempt in currentprice's case, now that's another matter entirely. Prove it, if you will or just you can chose to ignore. |

Mpeace: Pls what is the real eps of transcorp. Proshareng is saying 8kobo, some persons are saying 20kobo and others are saying 25kobo. About 20k but only 8kobo is due to the shareholders of the company as at Q3'17. The balance is due to Non-Controlling Interest (Eg investors in TUPL who are not shareholders in the parent company) |

Nigeria’s leading indigenous energy group, Oando Plc, has moved its head office from its present location to another area.
The embattled oil firm, in a statement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) today, disclosed that it was moving to another office complex within Lagos metropolis.
According to the statement jointly signed its Head of Corporate Communications, Alero Balogun and the Chief Compliance Officer/Company Secretary, Ayotola Jagun, the new office is at 9th–12th Floor,
The Wings Office Complex, 17a Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This movement, according to Oando, is effective from Monday, December 4, 2017.
Oando’s head office is presently at 2, Ajose Adeogun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
However, the statement said, “The company’s telephone numbers and email address remains unchanged.”
https://www.businesspost.ng/2017/11/30/oando-relocates-head-office-new-location/ The new office location (a state of the art structure called The Wings ) was actually built by Oando with Standard Bank Group and one other sponsor. |

Toluway: Please house, advise me. May I sell my okomu oil, which has remained static for long? I'm itching to sacrifice it on the alter of Fidelity You have asked two questions in one. Okomu offers your portfolio 'stability' not 'growth'. Static dividend income and hopefully a bonus in the future. If you seek growth, sacrifice it. Altar to use........I don't know. |

locodemy: The way i see it closed today shows a strong breakout about to occur. Will try to remove the price limit tomorrow to get my last badge at the best market price. That's the point I tried to get across earlier. A Higher opening price than a previous close eliminates the lower bids (Same way 1.31-1.32 were not accommodated today). If that repeats itself tomorrow with descent volume, then the story might change. It remains to be seen what the market has in store tomorrow. |

emmanuelewumi: It will be very difficult to dethrone Flour Mills ad the leader in the flour market.
Flour Mills and BUA are also in the sugar market, Dangote has taken the market in Nigeria and about capturing the West African sugar market. Not so difficult if Flourmills fails to deal with perennial issue of debts that keeps eating up its profits. It will only be a matter of time before DF overtakes FM if the former starts to plough its profits back into the business for expansion. Ifs ifs ifs I want to believe Dangote made a comeback because he saw an opportunity FM has failed to exploit. It was an uphill task wrestling the market from FM who had just divested from its cement business to focus on its core strength (flour milling) some 3 to 5 years ago. His competition (FM and Honeywell) have burdened themselves with debt making significant expansion impossible. For the sanity of the market, I hope DF never topples FM. |
