ExLaidback:If I remember correctly, I think I went with my ID and passport photographs. There were 2 instances. One with APR and the other with Cardinal stone. One of them still required a banker's confirmation, which I processed that same day and collected the warrant. You could also ask your broker to send you a copy of your CSCS stock holding details as backup (it wasn't required of me though). |
ExLaidback:I hope both registrars have your signature specimen already, if not, it wouldn't be processed. Solution is banker's confirmation of signature or transfer form(signature specimen form) processed by your broker through CSCS. You could also go for dividend warrant pick up. I once did that for my FCMB dividend. |

For those concerned, keep your phones close by in anticipation of GTB and Wapic dividends today. |
zendi:The guy offend you before? He is not the one looking to sell. |
I need someone to share an opinion on why bids for Transcorp are increasing. |
NuttyChoky:Okay o. I rest my case. |
NuttyChoky:The reports you are referring to were for Q1. You can't extrapolate Q1 to full year 2016. A system that didn't work in Q1, aggravating the fuel scarcity all over the country. That was the reason for the reversal. |
NuttyChoky:This information might not be correct. Second quarter allocation for the NNPC is just 41.74%. Other oil marketing companies including Oando have the rest. Oando is the only listed company of this "others" (I stand to be corrected). So it is not a given that 2016 results will be poor based on your assumption except for other unknown factors. |
ufotty2001:Did you confirm this was the case after 10:00am? I can place a bid at pre-market and cancel it before 10:00am (10:00am - 10:14:59am is dedicated to Market makers only) If the N1.26k bid was placed by any other investor and he sees that there are much lower offers, the sensible thing to do is to cancel it while you still can. I do that often. Except the N1.26 price was placed by a MM during the window specified above. Anyway, the reference price for Diamond is N1.15. |
ufotty2001:You need to understand the market rules before you conclude it isn't working. Before the market opened, what were the HIGHEST bid price and LOWEST offer price? |
Agbalowomeri:I think Oando was the front runner for the profit warners. They even warned for 2 subsequent quarters if I am not mistaken. More like FY15 and Q1,16 sef |
http://nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/13137_OANDO_PLC_-_LATE_FILING_ACCOUNTS_CORPORATE_ACTIONS_APRIL_2016.pdf "NOTIFICATION ON THE RELEASE OF OANDO PLC’s 2015 AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS The Management of Oando PLC would like to advise our valued shareholders, key stakeholders, and wider investor community that from available indications we are unlikely to complete our 2015 audit and issue our audited accounts on 31 March, 2016, as required by The NSE Rules (the Rules). We have worked diligently with our external auditor, Ernst & Young (“EY”) to ensure a swift conclusion to the audit process. However, after reviewing the financials, EY indicated that the Accounts may likely need to be referred to the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (“FRC”) pursuant to Rule 5 of the recently publicised FRC Rules. We expect the process to be concluded on or before 31 May, 2016, however this is dependent on the completion of the external review process as referred to above. The company’s management would also like to bring to the attention of its shareholders and the investor community that the accounts of the company at FYE 2015 will be in line with its Q3 2015 performance. The expected decline is attributable to the industry’s downturn, prevalent economic headwinds, as well as fiscal and monetary restrictions driven by a challenging macro environment. While we are actively restructuring the business to adapt to this difficult period, we are optimistic and steadfast in our commitment to return to profitability in 2016. feelamong:The much talked about OPEC meeting to discuss output freeze is later this month (isn't it?) coupled with the slightly positive news from OER. #Purespeculation |
feelamong:OPEC meeting this April. But I don't know why buyers no dey like cooperate. I wanted the stock to dip below N3.50 before I could JIJO with it. Disclaimer: Don't try this stunt at home ![]() |
leo1234:You just redefined flying. ![]() |
Raider76:Na wa o. This is suppose to be a negative news nah but all offers cancelled. This market ehn! |
Wait for a stock to be marked down, track its descent till the stock starts to build a support price. Zenith is at an advanced stage in this process (looks like it has reversed and it's seeking to establish a support price). WAtch UBA.....looking at a price N2.85-N2.92. Afriprud at N2.28 or less. These price target might be revised downwards as the market directs. Disclaimer: I am a Newspaper stand trained analyst |
Manonamission:"Watching" not "buying". Don't have a single unit. |
100m on Livestock. 5% of the issued share capital of the company. We are watching. |
goodyr:Notin o ji e. Same thing wrong with UBA, Afriprud, GT and what will befall UCAP after markdown. Investors often sell off after qualifying for dividends. Market trend can reverse anytime though. |
OBAGADAFFI:Can you make a comparism between the return on investment for Zenith bank and Dangote cement? Mind you, ROI is not the only factor considered. Understand and respect sectorial attributes. Ever wondered why PE in the financially services sector is always lower than other sectors? |
ufotty2001:They operate in different sectors and the market often considers that. |
Based on results released and market trend so far, the bull reaction to FCMB result should fizzle out quickly. Improvement in Q1 results is what this stock needs. The current price of FCMB is rightly priced. It shouldn't be higher. UBA and Access are much cheaper. However, I am closely following the "profit warners", FBNH, FCMB, Diamond and Skye. Disclaimer: I am "newspaper stand" trained analyst. |
ufotty2001:Try again. I experienced same but it is up and running now. |
stokfrick:I agree...just that the surprises have largely, been uninspiring. |
Why is FCMB on bid? Could the result be better than feared? |
On Fidelity; Fidelity is not a buy at current price. If I had it in my portfolio, I would be looking to sell asap. Good dividend declaration by the bank might not yield considerable price appreciation because the market so far in not responding to such news. One can also argue that the current price already reflects the anticipated price target. This is a personal opinion. |
gbolah4real:I would rather wait till the result is released before taking any action. Q3 was poor yoy and now coupled with the profit warning, I do not have faith in the bank/stock. |
gbolah4real:According to the last communication from the bank and following the profit warning, result should be out latest by Thursday. |
bolabiyi:For JB, I think it's easy to see why he recommended it. Everyone knows JB's business is largely dependent on the passage of the budget. They are a major contractor to the government. I guess they are already preparing to remobilise to site for jobs that have been on hold and for new contracts that would be announced. However, I think JB play should require some patience, say like a 3mths holding period. An understanding of the price movt is necessary especially for short term play. I also do not recommend a BUY or SELL. |

... I can comfortably extrapolate based on this govt. tendencies, other policies and of course the Nigerias populace's aversion to market based economics.
