rebekah2011: I agree with you. But the company should not have gone back to adjust the entry they made in Jan 2015 when we were debited N5,000 instead of N2500. There is also no trace of the reversal of entry in October 2015. Our blood is hot, having lost heavily. So deductions from our accounts however little it is will be challenged. Morgan is cool and to say they are fraudulent is not complimentary enough. Still highly disappointed. Making changes to entries in an account ledger has a standard procedure you should follow. How can you just delete like that? In a situation where adjustments have to be made for systemic glitch, proper/detailed info should be communicated to the customer. This Wale's style of account reporting is not good at all. Very poor from Morgan. |

Agbalowomeri: It is called corporate social responsibility. You guys no wan dash Morgan small out of all the wonderful deals Morgan give una throughout 2015, haba. Una know say time hard na N2500 annual fee is not too much considering the low brokerage and good platform provided for trading. It's the abracadabra that was done that I find disturbing. My account was debited Jan 2015, the so called system glitch in October did not credit my account with same. Now Jan 2016 , you deduct N5000. Who does that? What stops the firm from deducting N1000 from your account every now and then without you knowing, since they can alter your statement? Reminds me of a banking fraud where $1 was debited from client's customers' accounts over a long period. Very difficult to detect. Like I said, I'm sorry they just breached my trust. |

stockbull: I think this is obvious manipulation..I've heard someone talking to me about it today. the same thing happened to the accounts I've with them. they're not replying my mails since I promise to take it up. the so called, erroneously reversed #2,500 has not shown on the BALANCE and also, the statement of account of their clients were edited from their end. I'm sorry to say this. Morgan is a fraudulent company. How can you edit account statements of your clients without communicating to them. I was debited Jan,2015. Now I can't find that in the statements. It has been removed. They probably thought we don't keep personal records of our own. Imagine deducting even 2500 naira from all clients without their knowledge. The so called reversal didn't reflect in my statement either. I am highly disappointed. One has to be very vigilant with this broker. |

locodemy: It is true this is a faceless forum but most guys here have iniders information, some are market players while others partner with institutional investors and portfolio managers.
i see no reason why people will be warned to stay away from fcmb and skye bank and they insist on buying them.people were also warned about unity bank and oando before the burst.
Tell your friend that it is where he has chosen to invest his money and should bear the losses.fcmb is yet to file their nine months result and their year end result will even bring HBP to shareholders.it is either he pulls his sell trigger now or face the father of bears. And the stocks people were advised to buy, how much are they now? A crash is a crash oga..........leave thrash for lawma The winners are those who exited on time and are loaded with cash. |

sky2891: Thank you so much for the information, my brother. I am currently accumulating FBNH as long as it remains below N5.00 though it may not be the best stock for now considering their loan portfolio and CBN regulations and restrictions on banks but the resilience of this bank for over a century and the new management will of course turn the bank around on the long term. This is a prize we may not witness in the next 10 years. Succeeded with 680,000 units so far and still accumulating gradually FOR LONG TERM. UBA is also on my radar but I take stocks one at a time and long term. I don't think it's ideal disclosing your portfolio details in a public forum. Just saying |

Liquidity is a major factor in 2016 because of the volatility in the stock market all over the world. You don't wanna get stuck with a stock. Comot eye from AG Leventis. My opinion though. |

Justcul: at N1.24, i have nothing to loose on skye (thats just me, dont know about your risk appetite) I agree it's not a bad move but considering the offer volume at N1.24 and the fact that it touched N1.18 on its last descent, I would expect that it dips well below N1.24 tomorrow. I hope to join this train tomorrow (N1.12 - N1.24). Volume might be low at N1.12 if at all it touches it. Watching UBA too, perhaps it might dip below N3.00 tomorrow. |

Then those of you that has been financially bankrupt by NSE whose only job now is to come online and look for who to vent their frustrations on.
Bring it on, its part of my ministry.i pray may GOD heal your demented souls The content of my post and the language used don't show any sign of frustration on my part. Where is this coming from? You need to relax. The NSE, this thread, currencies, crude oil, life itself is fleeting. Following the share reduction, the number of shares held by a shareholder will accordingly change as four out of every five shares will be cancelled. Justcul: Is it time to Jump out?
Caveat: I have Fcmb in my bag For me, if I must hold 2 banking stocks in my portfolio in 2016, FCMB and FBNH will top my consideration especially at their current prices. Their holdco structure will confer on them certain privileges deposit money banks can not benefit from. Govt is going to be raising a lot of domestic debt in 2016, the likes of UCAP, FBN Capital and FCMB capital, among others, will be arranging the funds (of course for a fee). The capital market will witness increased Govt patronage and we know the leaders in that field. I am aware DMBs will benefit from the fund raising but not in the form of incomes accruable to lead arrangers. This is not a JIJO perspective though and you are permitted to thrash it as soon as you are done reading. |

ogoo4real: The short term I mean is one week min, Two weeks max. Okay. This is a very personal opinion. Watch the sell off going on in SKYE. Target the N1.15 to N1.23 range. Let's hope it gets there. It just might touch N1.23 by Friday, hopefully (apologies to those that have SKYE in their portfolio). How deep your pocket is should guide when you start buying. That your 10% go dey small when harvest time reach ( max is 2 weeks from date lower value of the range was reached). Very very very personal opinion indeed........more like what I am doing in front of my computer. If it goes against projection.........na to sigh and laugh at myself o. If you buy at that range their is no point panic-selling if it dips further. March/April is just around the corner......meaning don't use borrowed money so you go fit convert to medium term. |

This is exactly what oando did to deceive shareholders when over 60million units were traded last year before they released the bombshell result...Better pray for the best...Remember, no company will ever withhold a good result for too long. Like I said, it's just an observation. It's not to raise anyone's hope. |

Over 50m units of FCMB was traded today. The last time such a huge volume was traded was April 2015. I have FCMB in my portfolio and it's only normal that it caught my attention. My mandate to buy more at N1.53 wasn't successful today. No intention to promote it either.....just saying. In fact, it could be a prelude to a big crash in price.....may be not. |
