I have lived in Lagos and there is nothing anyone can tell me about Lagos. I know Lagos more than You do if you don't know. Lagos is a glorified slum. By the time Akwa-Ibom and Anambra takes the center stage you will see how a City should look like.

Mega City, Center of Excellence, City of the Hustlers are the nic names of Lagos. A closer srutiny of Lagos will make some people to wonder if Lagos is over hyped or really a State worth the accolades and admiration.

* Lagos has the Largest Population of poorest Nigerians domiciling within a given goeographical entity. Yes with a population of over 25 million people Lagos as a State has the highest number of poor people in Nigeria. The number of poor people in Lagos is higher than the number found in each State of terror torn North East Region of Nigeria.

* About 60 percent of Lagosians are living in extreme poverty, 15 percent are living from hand to mouth and 25 percent have stable sources of income. This was clearly witnessed during the lockdown when we saw how people were desperately craving for food.


* Lagos reduces someone lifespan: if you want to reduce your lifespan by half, Lagos is the ideal Location for You. A lot of people have died from years of accumulated stress and poluted environment.

* Lagos has the highest rate of unemployment and under employment.

I agree with Arthur Eze that an Nnewi man should succeed Obiano. In the old Anambra South which comprised of Nnewi, Ihiala and Aguata, only an Nnewi man is yet to rule the state. Aguata ruled through Ezeife while Ihiala ruled through Mbadinuju. Soludo is from Aguata, so he should forget about succeeding Obiano.

If you want to go for Equity then you have to remove Ezeife name there because he didn't stay long. Just about two years, So Aguata have to complete their tenure before Nnewi
