Masculity:So to you a good leader is someone who will loot the treasury............ and afterwards use a part of it to build schools for the community? Haba!.... it will seem with mentality like yours, the looters are only 5% of our problem |
Femolacaster:....and no one in UK is crying Islamisation agenda |
maisauki:Bros,SuperS1Panther: :JUS LIKE YOUR SOUTHERN ELITES SEND THEIR OWN KIDS TO SCHOOLS AROUND D WORLD WHILE CHILDREN OF D MASSES CONTINUE TO DO TWALE SIR WITHOUT LEARNING ANYTHING Let me put @SuperS1Panther's jaundiced narrative in further perspectives and also ask that why are most of the male children of Southern masses not in school but rather put apprentice shop boys when the children of the elites are in foreign schools? I think we as a people should be decent enough to respect people's way of life and not denigrate it. If a Sultan of Sokoto can educate her girl child up to PHD level, then that should signal a renaissance of the North fully embrasing western education. My concern is that while we wallow in our aggravated arrogantly ignorant views of the north, in about 10years time, the north would have caught up education wise. Think of it this way, the North probably doubles the South 2-1 in population. The day the North has more than 50% of an educated population, not only are they even, the become more educated in number counts. That is when a lot of reality will dawn on a lot of people. SLS has told them to start building more schools. They will soon go on a free education & girl-child education campaign............. Have we looked at the data for Southerners? Are we have more school enrollment rates? Are we having more drop-out or increase in out of school children? These are things that should be of concern to us rather than trying to put down the North. |
midehill:How can you ace General Mathematics and Economics and turn in abysmal result in commerce and Financial Accounting? If I were an algorithm to detect suspicious results I will flag yours |

chimah3:So to you stealing is? |
awa:You mean GEJ also developed something called "food for massive policy"? ![]() |
Oma307:Living in denial is the worst thing a man can do to himself........ who were the "they" that implemented it? GEJ's government of course. The current govt just rolled with it till idiots started the unnecessary charade. The reviewed curriculum is/was a good thing. It was done by professionals in the educational sector, recommended to GEJ who approved and implemented it. That cannot be expunged from the true position of things |
gurunlocker:See another irresponsible liar........ You want to support the underlined with veritable facts? |
oxygen247:Bros, Nobody sensible is blaming Jonathan in this context. If you don't understand that, pls do now. GEJ led government did a good thing with the new curriculum. The merging of related subjects was for good purpose. So who am I blaming 1. CAN - The author of confusion and killer of this good initiative. Nothing was ever wrong with CRK. My daughter recently completed her junior WAEC and she was not prevented from writing CRK 2. Politicians - The FFKs, RENOs et. als of this world, who constantly sell falsehood to wip up ethicnic and religious sentiments and disturb the polity and the comity. 3. Gullible idiotic folks - who will not appraise news thrown to them but go to town spreading falsehood |
helinues:Bros, The problem this time is not our "legislooters and FG. The problem is our "religious contractors" and "we" as a collective that have decided to wallow in mediocrity |
chucs:What is more painful to me is that we Christians have achieved this feat through apparent deceit. |
9jakohai:@9jakohai,cckris: :the policy was brought in by the previous administration. You are simply wasting your time. These is the pathetic situation of the current "CAN" led Christians in Nigeria who have chosen to deliberately lie to themselves. Why will we not have dumb assertions like Cckris'? When the president of CAN can tell a patently concucted lie, accusing the Minister of Education of removing CRK from the curriculum. This reversal is to our collective shame. We have decided to rubbish the good work of the GEJ administration led Educational summit of 2010-2012 whose objective was to improve education/learning in our schools, to prepare our children for the future. We have chosen to sacrifice the potential of our children to be well grounded, informed, educated and globally competitive. We rather prefer to raise religious fanatics, bigots and nincompoops. What I really wonder is what we christians want to gain by telling outright lies and spreading falsehood that PMB removed CRK from the curriculum? |
PapaBrowne:If you went back and read the full details of the story, you will know that waivers that Kola & Jide got were criminal. Why do you think such deal was not routed through renowned Oil traders? For example NNPC had been in partnership with Duke Oil in UK, why not through Duke Oil or Shell Trading, etc. Do you think the movements of such monies was just going to be overlooked? even Diezani in her taped statements expressed her discontent with Kola and Jide's extravagance, as such will (and did) give leeway to trace the monies back to them. Now back to Igho. These are the facts - That Kola's and Jide's (Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts (AEDC) and Atlantic Energy Brass Development (AEBD))Coy were incorporated few months before the SSA, the fact they they clearly lacked the technical and Financial capabilities, the fact that the deal was so much a glaring fraud that the CBN Gov (SLS) wrote to the FG to question the SSA (one of the pole reasons that got him sacked)..... should have been a red flag to an international trader that such transaction was going to elicit the attention of international watchdogs. Going by your logic, those international coys that are facing litigation in their countries for gratifications and shady deals to Nigerian Govt, even the ones GEJ was indicted are not EFCC as well to have known not to exercise caution becos they are dealing with FG of Nigeria |
Oxenomy:I do not expect a mindset like yours to even be the signpost of fight against corruption in the first place.........yes I need to swerve and talk to people that value integrity |
abashi47:If you put your hears to the ground" you will hear.......stop going off tangent 1. Recovered loot cannot be spent outright. There is a process. The executive has to go back to the Senate to seek approval on such spending. That is why as recorded in the 2017 budget, the recovered loot is 2. Paris Club refund guarantee can is only logical as previous govt, especially GEJ, under whose watch this WICKED Diezani-Aluko-Omokore-Igho ponzi scheme happened, demonstrated such irresponsibility. |
PapaBrowne:Bros , Stop displaying ignorance that makes you look more ignorant 1. The whole charade was fraudulent from the get-to-go. While these happened under our nose, those of us in the Oil and Gas industry called it Ponzi scheme. Kola Aluko and Omokore had no business in Oil and Gas buiness in the first place, the law was breached and subverted for the fraud to sail through. You wonder why Diezani said in her taped conversation (which FBI intercepted) that "they stuck out their necks for the duo....." 2. As for Igho, the rule of thumb in Oil trade, if you cannot establish the "cleanliness", "history" or "genuiness" of a cargo you're moving, then you are open to international investigators to take you to the cleaners. You think people will just move cargo and fiunds for faceless people (Black market , terrorists, drug lords etc) |
kenex4ever:Is it any concern to you where a looter comes from? All looters should face the law......and pls always be sincere with yourself. What do you mean "if all these are true"....or did anybody help Diezani tape conversations with Kola Aluko where many of these revelations were shelled out? |
Oxenomy:Somebody steals your wealth (as you rightly stated) and you say it's none of your business? Pls ask the next person near you to Wozz you some dirty slaps |
pafra:....wait e nefa finish.....let me add my own bit.... Mike Ozekhome will be the lawyer of the looters and will be celebrating how he "defeated" EFCC on twitter and pages of newspaper |
serverconnect:Can you see one of the exact reasons why many Nigerians are backward? This is supposed to be a God created human being o...... |
giddykay:Osogbo is a major landing hub, hence theirs is automatic |
braxjay:Do you want to force people to reflect the experience of your area as theirs? |
Pylony:Will you rather have the GEJ era, when radio stations, TV stations, Stock exchange, etc where shutting down due to almost complete power failure? |
larrywax:I disagree with you. Where is that average Nigerian in Lagos of 21m people, yet only about 600,000 pay tax. Does that mean that about 2% of the country are average and the rest "below-average"? See Nigerian do ridiculous thing to avoid paying bills, meter by-pass for starters |
kleanvictor01:Bros, Your friend in SA is not completely exact here. I "partly" live in SA cos I go every two months. SA experienced some power outages especially last year......as their power demand has outgrown available supply....So they had to do what they called "Load Shedding".....but they announce in the media about the impending outage. Beside many new houses in SA now have Solar power as alternative |
greenpasture:I think you are either in the wrong forum or you are addressing the wrong set of people here. More like you bring a sound intellectual input into the market-square of the foolish? At times it seem idiocy on NL follows the butterfly effect on the reverse. It takes a first poster to post without reasoning and others follow In Lai's explanation, there is hidden a lot of credible issues for discussion. The SA football league industry that is touted to be the best organised today was non-existent as at 1995, today it is the best organised in Africa. If they did not decide to develop their local industres (TV/Movie/Sports for starters) how will they be a net exporter as it is today? Meanwhile, a lot of people shout "structures", yet they do not understand even the necessary structure and inter-play required. How can the Minister of Information be addressing imbalances in the Creative Industry and the daft response from many is "Tell the President to get medicals in Nigeria"...... |
What about Mathematics? |
jomoh:I tot the same too. The so called Professor of Islamic studies has bested many Professors of Management and gurus |
linearity:Shut it, fool! Are you pained? Is it my fault that you display sub-par intelligence on something you read on paper? Pls get a sucker and shove it |
