mapet: Bloody liar. The Agric loan is not given on individual basis. Beneficiaries form cooperative clusters and the loan is given to clusters who babe met set criteria.
Go to Steilling Bank and make inquiries on Bank of Industries soft loan and prove me a lier bro. The money is disbursed through Steilling Bank. Infact am going to the bank this morning to see if I can withdraw mine cos since Friday when I got the alert I have been on and off to the bank and have not been able to withdraw it becouse of the protocals involved.
Bros,

I don't know what you're doing with Sterling bank, but if it is the COMMERCIAL AGRIC CREDIT SCHEME as the report says, then I am afraid, what you are doing with Sterling bank is either different or suspect.

For CACS, the means of accessing the loan is

The scheme shall be financed from the proceeds of the N200billion three (3) year bond raised by the Debt Management Office (DMO). The fund shall be made available to the participating bank(s) to finance commercial agricultural enterprises. In addition, each State Government could borrow up to N1.0billion for on-lending to farmers’ cooperative societies and other areas of agricultural development provided such initiatives/interventions are in line with the objectives of CACS.
https://www.cbn.gov.ng/Out/2014/DFD/CACS%20GUIDELINES%20NEW-14th%20May%202014.pdf
If it is the Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGSF), the means to access fund is

The Fund is managed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, which handles the day-to-day operations of the Scheme. The Guidelines stipulate the eligible enterprises for which guarantees could be issued under the Scheme..........

To access loans under ACSS, applicants (practicing farmers and agro-allied entrepreneurs with means) are encouraged to approach their banks for loan through the respective state chapters of farmers associations and State Implementation Committees. However, large scale farmers are allowed under the scheme to apply directly to the banks in accordance with the guidelines.
https://www.cbn.gov.ng/devfin/acgsf.asp
So except you are a large scale farmer.......but from your first submission, you're looking for a loan of 100,000 Naira.....means you're either a starter or a non-starter.

Hi Guys,
So this got me thinking that
SCENERIO 1
what if a car is stolen here in Nigeria and the plate no are removed and its put up for sale as Tokunbo (from border Cotonou).(i.e car is still neat an new and does not have a glass inscription of any sort)
How do one know its not a stolen car.

SCENERIO 2
What if the car was stolen and already registered with plate no, and the papers to the car have been changed and its put up for sale.
How do you know its not a stolen car?
One answer for both question - VIN

The VIN tells you the current status of the vehicle.

Secondly, I think govt has banned bringing in vehicles through land boarders. Probably one of the reasons is to forestall gaps like these

Thirdly, at the point of registration, the database of FRSC/Licensing office will throw up any irregularities. They will tell you if the car is stolen. The only snag is that if you have not discovered at this point, then you will be arrested

Do you think if anybody is serious about joining the agric scheme, he will not be looking for information? These ones are not interested. They are only looking for freebies and complaining when there is no freebies

The Bank of Industries gave the nation forms to apply for loans of just 100,000 each. I applied for this loan. And when the loan was disbursed the north got its own first and were given 100,000 naira each followed by the west. And after 3 to 4 months when the north and west must have collected their own. The east and south east were ask to come and collect theirs, guess what we recieved in our accounts 50,000 naira. And 4,000 naira has already been deducted from the account of some of us. I included.
How many of us know that World bank released billions of naira to Nigeria for entrepreneur and business development last year. And this fund was diverted to the north since last year. I got to know of this when I meet a group of guys who has brought this World bank development scheme to a church.
This is the nature of one Nigeria we have. And you expect a region not to demand separations. Injustice has a way it impoverishes one even as one received undue advantages.
The north remains the most impoverished region in Nigeria despite the political power and the undue advantages it has enjoined for year.
Karma has a way it pays one back.
Bloody liar. The Agric loan is not given on individual basis. Beneficiaries form cooperative clusters and the loan is given to clusters who have met set criteria.

‘Nnamdi Kanu Came Into Nigeria Without Any Passport’ – Buhari

VERDA:
There is nothing bogus about the claims, first of all, they are not my claims but those of the minister of state for petroleum and the chairman, board of directors NNPC,and if in ur assessment, everything he wrote to the president was a lie, then so be it, you seem to have forgotten that the contracts issue was just one of the numerous issues he wrote about, the NNPC clearly, ignored other allegations about appointments without the board approving, or is the board not to be involved in that too??, if so please educate me on what a board in an organization like NNPC accountable for and if like you have stated kachwuku has no business bothering himself with all those things he stated, I wonder why there is a board and what his functions as the chairman and minister of state is.....mind you, in the absence of Buhari as the Minister is kachukwu not supposed to take over? And then report to the FEC and the vice approves Or he handed the minister al position directly to the vice president too. Maybe it is you who should go back, read the full allegations, read about the functions of a board and then come and if you will educate me on whether like ur implying, kachikwu had no basis to complain and was just making noise.
Let me try address the issues you raised one after the other
1. First and foremost, all these is happening because Kachikwu is not Minister of Petroleum but a minister of State. Unfortunately the law and Act was not spefic in that regard as the powers of the Minister of State. When Diezani was Minister of Petroleum, she fired 5 GMDs in 5 years. She had the power to do that and more. Unfortunately, Kachikwu as a Minister of state has no such power.
2. Kachikwu is a useful and powerful to the extent given by the Minister(in this case the president) and such is not automatic.
3.Yes Baru did not answer the issue of appointments which is within the jurisdiction of the board. In this regard as well, the board is only in advisory capacity. Kachikwu himself admitted that Osinbajo referred the appointments made back to him. Yes Baru has not answered that
5. With regards to the contracting process, the board has no say.in the Oil is Gas industry, contracting process goes through and Tenderness Board (either major or minor Tenders board or), afterwards it is gods to be in GMDs for then the Minister who secured the president's or the FEC approval as the case may be. The NNPC board is not involved in the tendering and contracting process. I was on the NIPEX(the Accenture-led implementation of the tendering and contracting process) project circa 2005/2006, as a rep of an NOC. NNPC had all along wanted to make it transparent and effective.
6. Also, unfortunately Kachikwu CANNOT take over as minister in PMB's absence because PMB holds the portfolio. So when he's away, the Acting President (Osinbajo) is the Minister of Petroleum.
7. The other thing is that the way the law is couched, the GMD of NNPC is seemingly untouchable by a minister of state. He reports directly to the President /Minister

What does his meeting with osibanjo have to do with him lieing and not following due process??,like you said ,we understand things differently.
Bros,

First off, you do not know what is the due process, because if you do, you will know that Baru did not break any law. The Act guiding contracting in the NNPC does not recognise a minister of state, neither does it recognise the board as lines of approval. It moves from Major/Minor tenders board to the GMD, then to the Minister of Petroleum, then to the President/FEC.

Secondly, are you aware that the VP has authenticated Baru's claims with the recent release from his office that;
a. He approved the said contracts in his capacity as the acting president
b. That the approval was given after ascertaining that due process was followed.

Akande said Osinbajo approved the recommendations for the contracts as part of necessary actions to deal with the backlog of unpaid cash calls and incentivise investments.

He added that the approval was given after due diligence and adherence to established procedure.

He said Osinbajo approved the contract in his capacity as the Acting President when President Muhammadu Buhari was away on medical vacation.
http://punchng.com/osinbajo-admits-approving-nnpc-joint-venture-financing-contracts/
I will suggest you get to know more about processes in specific government parastatals rather than jumping to make bogus claims that due process was not followed

If you've worked in an airport, you will understand my point
1. The problem I have with people like you is that you don't read

Igwebuike was caught in a police sting after Australian Border Force officers intercepted packages destined for Canberra in October 2015.

His trial heard the drugs were discovered when three 20 kilogram statues that arrived in a shipping crate from China were X-rayed by officers at Port Botany on October 8.

Inside one statue of a fish they found 43 packages that contained a combined total of 10.58 kilograms of methamphetamine.

Federal police had swapped the drugs with an “inert substance” before the fish statue was put back together and repacked.

Taps of Igwebuike’s phones picked up communication between the accused and another man in Igbo and with a freight company based in Sydney.

Prosecutors said Igwebuike used the name “Solomon David” and asked the company for the package to be delivered to an address in Kaleen.

Undercover police later watched as the packages were delivered to the address and collected by Igwebuike, who took them to a second address in the same suburb.

In a phone conversation with another man soon after, Igwebuike discussed transport and meeting places in Sydney.

He was arrested as he stood in a queue at the Jolimont Centre for a Murrays bus to Sydney on October 17.

Police seized a suitcase filled with 43 packages of the drug substitute.

Igwebuike said he hadn’t known the statues had been filled with drugs.

He said he’d been approached by two men in a carpark and asked to pick up some decorative glass items.

Those men later showed up at his house after he had collected the parcels and broke the statues open, before threatening to kill his wife and destroy him if he didn’t take the drugs to Sydney, he said.

Commonwealth prosecutor Edward Chen told a sentence hearing on Tuesday that Igwebuike had maintained he had been doing a favour for a friend and wouldn’t admit he committed the crime for profit.

“The offender does not seem to demonstrate any willingness to accept responsibility for his actions,” he said.
2. Do I need to "work" at the airport to know what is common sense?
