In the letter of increment,it is clearly stated that you can leave at the expiration of your tenancy if you can't pay the new rate meaning the increment is not the reason for the eviction notice.
Methinks you are being evicted because you are subletting the property without the consent of the landlord.

Please is this right? What should I do ?
The first picture is the receipt I was issued after payment, the 2nd is the increase letter and then the one sent from the court.

Legally, you do not have the right to rent the shop out. It is not yours and you cannot collect rent on someone else's property

That is because Tinubu has factually improved Lagos far more than other leaders have improved their State.

As an example, Bayelsa became bankrupt and moribund under GEJ when he should be responsible for the direction of the State, as her political father, after he has been her Governor, our Nation's VP and then President.

Meanwhile Lagos has gone from strength to strength. Yet same Nigerians who savage Tinubub24/7 praise the failure GEJ and even want him back as President.

Meanwhile Tinubu never rest on Lagos affairs whereas GEJ, Atiku, Obi, Kalu and many others don't give a toss about their States.

Chsrity should begin at home and Tinubu wins hands down in this regard. Most abuse and attacks against him is misinformed, envy-driven, unobjective, ignorant and biased.

Outside Nigeria, where they don't host the bias the average Nigerian does, Tinubu is viewed the best and most impactful administrator of Nigeria in the modern age.

Bittersweet news though. Any good news for Lagos is always bittersweet for Lagosians because it will translate into more inward migration into the only State that is working and moving forward in Nigeria.

You feel the population cos we don't have a well planned state.. if they can develop the railway, have enough to move goods out of wharf, have enough to run to different locations within the state.. have some linking the neighbouring states, you ll see that lagos ll become relaxed..

Looking on the bright side, I believe Ogun and other neighbouring States needs to accelerate their urban development program. There is a Development Agenda for South-West Nigeria(DAWN) that sets a vision for the 6-South-West states. Among others a connected intra-city rail is one of them. The idea is that each state will build her intra-city rail and connect with neighbouring states. These is one area that Governors should chase doggedly over the next decade. People will be more dispersed and not overload Lagos when they know they can move both human and goods across SW states with the rails.

Sanwo Olu has 4 key things to deliver in my view;
1. Blue and Red metro rail Lines
2. Completion of Mile 2 - Badagry expressway
3. Commencement of 4th Mainland bridge project
4. Lekki coastal road and rail line

If he can deliver these, he would have achieved in my opinion. Of course other projects like the deep sea port, Lekki Airport, power generation and others should go on side by side but I will prioritise those 4 above if I were him.

#s 1 & 2 are sacrosanct IMO. #s 3&4 can wait for his second term
